"We booked last minute and had an early check-in. Was very easy with Trip.com. We had a blocked shower drain with our first shower and they moved us to a different room-fast. This was great! We slept well on comfortable bedding. The balcony was comfortable with captain's chairs and a large table. Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, bread and cheese and cold cuts. Eggs and a fresh salad with a meat pie. It was presented on a patio with good shade. The property has an ocean view and actually faces Athens-pretty to see the lights at night. The grounds have a terrace for sunbathing, beautiful rosemary hedges, pomegranate trees and veggie garden spaces-very nicely done. The beach is at the bottom of the hill-not a bad walk-2 minutes. The beach tables/umbrellas were not set up for the hotel as it is officially shoulder season but we pulled down some lounge chairs for our beach time. Make sure if you come here to take the Souvala Ferry as it is walking distance to the property. We arrived at the Aegina Town ferry and rented a car-we wanted one for the trip anyway. Best of all was Debbie-the English version of her Greek name-she was front desk manager and was very welcoming and informative. Her English is good and she is working on it constantly. We will be back to this little Shangri-la hopefully soon."

"Great location, right across from the port and extremely walkable to the hustle and bustle of the Aegina city centre. The large single room covers all the basic needs and is quite spacious for a solo stay. Complementary bottle of water is a nice touch. The sheets and the towels were clean and white. The owner was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would not only recommend to family and friends but also stay again."

However, the bathroom was a little small, especially the shower. The bed linen were changed every three days, which was okay, but we would have liked to have the towels fresh every day. A major problem was the quiet doors, which were very noisy and should be definitively repaired. Despite these small shortcomings, we would recommend the hotel because of its perfect location near the port with many taverns and shops nearby. 3.5 of 5 stars, since the hotel has potential, but could improve a few things yet. ”"
