"The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Odate City, surrounded by numerous restaurants and shopping areas. We drove ourselves, and free parking was provided. The onsen facilities were adequate. While breakfast and dinner were not served, complimentary ramen and rice were available in the evenings. The staff were also very friendly and polite. It's a hotel I would recommend to friends."

"Booked a Japanese-style room, only to find that the room has no bathroom, a bit inconvenient, book a Japanese-style room to pay attention. In addition, I feel that the sound is average, and the room must be very quiet and slowly enter and exit and feel a bit unsafe. Stay on the 2nd floor, outside is a smoking area. The room was large and air-conditioned enough. At night, there are no shops nearby, but the hotel sends free coupons to eat curry rice or beef rice, which solves the dinner problem. I love the hair dryer in the bath."

"Hotel room is clean and comfortable. They even give one free entrance to the onsen next door. Staff are courteous and welcoming. Only shortcoming is it is located next to a railway crossing and sound proofing is not perfect. So be prepared to be awaken at 2am in the morning due to train crossing."

"The employees are really kind. The room was very small and difficult to use, especially around the water area, but there were many kind staff who were so pleasant and helpful compared to that. I was able to spend a really nice night. Thank you very much. I would like to stay again."

Furusawa Onsen Koyokan

Hotels in Odate
Come to our inn and be greeted by our Akita dogs, Haru-chan and Hana-chan
"This very homestay style accommodation started some 48 years ago by the grandma. Two of her daugthers, Kaori and Katura now runs this cosy place with about 10 rooms. The stars are the two Akita inu, Haru-chan (father), 7 years old. And his daughter, Hana-chan (6 years old). it will take some time to warm up with them, similar to Shiba inu. We got to spend sometime with both of them during our stay, including giving them some treats, watched Haru-chan drinks ice cream with ice (it was a hot day). Chatted with Kaori and grandma to find out more about them. We had dinner and breakfast which was home cooked style. It has been a pleasant stay. Very friendly and down to earth family. This is highly recommended if you are into Akita Inu and enjoy homestay."
