Pay peanuts get monkey lor. Well actually I was in a non window room which is at the ground level. This place is old but it is not dirty. Location wise, okla. Bcos i took a bus there and the bus stop is just a walking distance away from the hotel. This hotel is in between two massage centres. And a bit of walking there’s a coffee shop for breakfast. Quiet crowded. The downside of my room is operator put mothballs in the room which is quiet hazardous to health. I hope they can remove the mothballs. Since my room has no window, i couldnt get fresh air. Out of no way i had to put on mask to sleep.

The capsule hotel is managed by an elderly couple. The reviews were mixed, between they're being nice vs being mean. What about how I thought? ”They're being very kind and trying hard to run the business for travellers convenience”. It's never easy to run businesses and it's not a charity so some may think if youre in business you should be at least act like a pro. For those who said that..then can you be one nice customer to the business owners? Not to forget..they're elderly, yet they did their best to help you with your stay with certain in house rules, which is manageable by the crowds they're having - solo/friends travellers - gamersalike Personally chat and understand that they're constantly tired and wired to the place and it's a very tiring job. Leave some kindness to the world and be kind to people around us, you will find wonderfulness. The rest I'll leave it up to yourself to judge.

As a Singaporean who frequently stays at hotels in Johor Bahru, this was the first time I encountered a check-in policy like this. The booking was made under my name, and both my Malaysian bf and I were present at check-in. However, the reception insisted on using only my identification for registration and required me to handle the tourism tax, refusing to use my boyfriend's MyKad for the registration process. I found this surprising because other hotels in JB that I've stayed at have been more flexible and allowed my partner to be registered using his MyKad when we checked in together. It would have been helpful if this policy had been communicated more clearly beforehand.nThat said, the stay itself was generally fine. My feedback is mainly regarding the check-in experience, which felt unnecessarily rigid compared to other hotels in the area.

Best location to explore the area. The Indian reception staff is very polite and served with a smile, definitely must give credit to her. The management has taken effort to brand the hotel. The room is clean but is old. Overall I had a pleasant stay.

I had a comfortable stay at 8 Days Boutique Hotel Impian Emas. The room was clean and well-kept, with a cozy king-size bed that made for a good night’s sleep. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was smooth. Location is convenient, with easy access to shops and eateries nearby. Overall, it’s a good value stay for a short trip. 👍

I recently stayed at the JS Hotel and, while the location was convenient, the overall experience left something to be desired. It’s clear that the property could benefit from a refresh to improve its comfort and appeal. On the positive side, the hotel is within walking distance of Aeon Shopping Mall, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. There’s also a convenience store right outside, making it easy to grab essentials. Overall, if you're just looking for a basic, no-frills place to stay in a prime location, JS Hotel could work. However, if you're looking for a more modern or well-maintained experience, you might want to explore other options.

Very clean, good location, has lift, will definitely recommend this hotel

The room was spacious, clean and overall very comfortable. Noise levels were generally acceptable but one downside was that sounds carried quite easily. You could hear doors slamming from units quite far and even vibrations from a phone from next door which was a bit confusing at times as it felt like it was coming from my own phone.

Receptionist was welcoming and pleasant to talk with, room was decently well maintained (Didn't take pictures) and it felt okay to good for a night's stay. Nearby is Paradigm Mall where the picture was the DipnDip chocolate crepe that I bought, delicious 😋

Suggest to all friends who would traveling to Johor Bahru here is another one should be stayed close to Domino's pizza, KFC, 7-11 convenient to travel
