"Though check-in was officially from 3 PM, they graciously allowed me to check in a little after 2:30 PM. My only minor concern is that the check-in area is quite small, which I imagine could be a challenge if it gets busy. I was incredibly impressed by the clear view of the Matterhorn directly from my room, without even needing to step outside – I'm so glad I chose this hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious."

"Exceeded our expectations! As a family of three, we booked a mountain-view suite on the top floor. With a pull-out sofa bed in addition to the main double bed, it could easily accommodate four people! Plus, it boasts a balcony with direct Matterhorn views and a comfy swing chair, perfect for taking in the panoramic town scenery. Absolutely fantastic! While the furniture isn't brand-new or ultra-modern, and there's no air conditioning, that seems to be the norm across Zermatt. We had a very comfortable stay! The price was also very reasonable, especially compared to the high rates we encountered in previous cities (perhaps due to the 2025 Women's Euro, as big city hotels were pricey). It felt like excellent value for money! The hotel's location is great, only about 400 meters from the train station – a leisurely stroll of less than ten minutes. Oh, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to every detail. My broken English was absolutely no barrier to communication! :)"

"ツェルマットの駅から歩いて10分ほど。メインストリートとは反対の方向になるが静かで落ち着いた雰囲気。
スネガ行きのケーブルカー乗り場はすぐそば（歩3分）
部屋にポットはなかったが（頼めば）沸騰水を融通してもらえたので数回は利用してとても助かった。
サウナ、プールなどはないが、バスタブがある部屋だったのでそれなりにくつろぐことができまた。
（9月だったが）外気温はずいぶん低く寒かったが、部屋には暖房が入れられていたので快適に過ごすことができた。
チェックアウト時のツェルマット駅への送迎は、5 フラン/人でした。（直接予約の人は、Free ）"

"1. This hotel apartment has no front desk. After 4 pm, it is impossible to manually check-in. The machine can be on the machine. The machine is very slow. We also encountered the problem of credit card payment errors. After the call service staff waited for 15 minutes for people to come over to solve it. The service attitude is very good, but this is really inconvenient, especially after we slipped for a day of snow, and pulled the big box and small box very hard to get here.
If it arrives at 4 pm, it is recommended to go to the next Alpen Resort hotel (the message is in the first picture) first check-in and then come over, otherwise you have to be frozen if you can't get in. 😅
2. The hotel is very good, the room is large, you can cook, we ate a few days of white rice can not stand, go to the COOP supermarket next to buy ingredients, make the simplest and most classic tomato scrambled eggs, chili fried meat, green vegetables, very satisfied 🤭
3. The room has a balcony, you can sit on the balcony to watch the snow-capped mountains and the town scenery and drink beer, it must be very pleasant. However, we were too tired to ski for a day and it was very cold, so we didn't enjoy 👻"

型型英帥靚正！The reception staff members are very friendly.
The breakfast is superb!
The room is spacious with a balcony overlooking the mountains.
There is a well-equipped open kitchen in the room.
However some waitresses at the restaurant always carry a poker face.
Our room is on the 4th floor but the lift only reaches the 3rd floor, and so we had to climb some stairs with our luggages.

GGuest UserAt the same price, Pateau Rosa is a room facing Matterhorn, just opposite the cable car, but I just want to book this one.
Thinking that there are few skiers in August, this is so biased, it should be upgraded to a south-facing room for me.
I really want to think too much, the Swiss ski team trains to live here, full room 🤣
But this small hotel is really loving, each room has a large balcony
The room is small, but clean and warm
The bathroom is big enough with windows
Zermatt water quality is very good, bathing is very comfortable
Room service will put you a bottle of water every day, although it should be the water pipe
There is free lemonade and honey cake at the front desk, the taste is very good, especially when you come back on foot, very happy
You can store ski gear, there is a door directly outside, very convenient
The front desk service is intimate, English is good

⚠️ From the train station to take a taxi, Zermatt's small bus is not allowed to carry luggage. I booked a negotiated price of 23 Swiss francs in advance, and I spent 35 euros on the spot. Enough time, not too tired, the return journey is not bad, most of them are downhill, and it takes half an hour to walk to the train station.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a short distance from Zermatt Railway Station. It takes more than ten minutes to walk. It takes a slope and climb the stairs. A total of 5 floors, we lived in a mountain view room, the room was clean and spacious, the facilities were perfect, and the decoration was very Swiss mountain style. The balcony is quite big, and there is no partition from the adjacent room. If the weather is good, you can directly see the top of Matterhorn, and you can also see the train up the mountain passing by the side of the hillside. It is a great experience. There are bread, cakes, yogurt, sausages, fruits, coffee and other Western breakfasts, and the restaurant is very cute. The front desk and restaurant waiters of the hotel are very warm and the wifi is very smooth. It is not far from the Matterhorn shooting check-in point and the black-faced sheep restaurant. It is recommended.

GGuest UserThe Matterhorn is clearly visible from the hotel's lawn, and the scenery is unparalleled. There is a free spa area, the room is very clean and the facilities are new. The only drawback is that we booked three rooms and only one had a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. In fact, many rooms in the hotel face the Matterhorn. In short, overall it's pretty good.

GGuest UserKristiane checked us in, and out of the hotel. She's the most attentive person so far that I've met, among the hotels that I have stayed in. Not only that, she got our issues fixed within the day, with a good sense of humour. The hotel breakfast was above average, some selection of cheeses, ham, salami, yoghurt, and drinks dispensed from the machine. I chose this hotel as it was close to Zermatt Bahnhof, and I did not regret it. A relatively new hotel, with a faint smell of wood in the room. The heating in the room can be a wee bit stronger, it means the insulation is good while we tuned down the central heating throughout our stay when the external temp is subzero. It's a gorgeous hotel, I have a narrow window view of the Matterhorn. Not to mention that the hotel is right next to McDonald's and two coffee shops. Overall, it was a splendid experience for us staying at Derby. If you were guessing, this isn't a sponsored review. We were just very happy travellers.

CCoey NiewFour of us stayed for one night in two rooms at Alpenblick Superior during our trip to Switzerland. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Our room had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn, and it was very clean and peaceful, as it's not located near the main street. Do note that you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
