"I could definitely see why this hotel has such high ratings. It's less than a two-minute walk from Zermatt train station. The hotel has a cozy Alpine style, and the room was much larger and more comfortable than I expected. It was great to see that both the room and the bathroom were maintained in pristine condition. The breakfast was truly, truly excellent. It was such a clean and well-presented spread that no further explanation is needed. I was absolutely amazed by the breakfast throughout my entire three-day stay. Another great advantage of this hotel is the afternoon tea time (from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM). The coffee, drinks, and soft bread perfectly relieved the pressure of Zermatt's incredibly high prices. This is the best hotel, and I would love to visit again if I get the chance."

"The room was incredibly spacious with breathtaking views from the window. The bathroom had a bathtub, and the shower pressure was surprisingly strong for a high-altitude location, which was very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner, included with the stay, were different every day and delicious. Catching the sunrise in the morning is an exclusive experience for guests, and on the last day, I even got to see the 'Morgenrot' (alpenglow), which was absolutely amazing. On Thursday evenings, there's a free stargazing event with commentary from University of Bern researchers, where you can admire the beautiful night sky through the hotel's top-floor telescope."

"1. This hotel apartment has no front desk. After 4 pm, it is impossible to manually check-in. The machine can be on the machine. The machine is very slow. We also encountered the problem of credit card payment errors. After the call service staff waited for 15 minutes for people to come over to solve it. "the location was good. u can see matterhorn clearly but unfortunately there is a big construction crane block some view. On the way to hotel from zermatt station if you follow the google map, it gonna lead u to hard way, very high upslope hill. it will be better if hotel provide u the easy path way to hotel."

"The hotel is located in the center of Zermatt, very close to the station, about 5 minutes walk, surrounded by supermarkets and restaurants, very convenient. Our room had a terrace, which was shared with several other rooms, which were wooden and furnished with flowers. It is worth mentioning that this hotel is very soundproof, and the neighbors and the noise outside are not heard. A man at the front desk was good and led us to store our luggage in the sled room on the basement floor. It would be better if the hotel could be equipped with a thin quilt."

"the quad room is perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. breakfast is superb and staffs friendly we stayed 3 nights and were luckily blessed with 1 day of clear whether at the top of the mountains. 2 ways to walk to the hotel from train station, the shorter one that google will tell u includes a steep climb (difficult if you have luggages in tow). the easier and better walk will just be to keep going straight, turn left at the matterhon musuem / church junction, and from there just a short gradual stretch to reach the hotel. very doable even with kids and luggage ."

"Hands down, this was one of my absolute favorite places during my trip to Switzerland. Highly recommend if you're visiting Zermatt! Definitely make sure to book a room with a Matterhorn view. The breakfast was generally good, though it could have used a bit more fresh fruit. Plus, having a microwave and water dispenser in the basement was a great perk that helped us save money on bottled water."
