"The hotel facilities are a bit basic. There are only 4 hangers, which is inconvenient. There are no tea bags. The room is quite big, and a small sofa or chair can be placed next to it.
There is no floor mat in the bathroom, and the floor is very wet when taking a shower, which is inconvenient. There was a cigarette butt in the bathing pavilion, which was not cleaned cleanly. Breakfast is a bit simple, not too many tricks, but enough to fill you up. But at this time and at this price, it’s okay, there are no big requirements."

"Pros: The price is affordable, the overall facilities are well-maintained, and the room size was accurately advertised. The front desk staff were quick to resolve issues and always greeted me with a smile. The location is excellent, very close to Qin Palace, Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, and Dream Valley. Daily amenities were replenished, and the cleaning staff were very friendly.
Cons: The unused breakfast vouchers could not be refunded (unlike the hotel next door). The breakfast selection was limited and the taste was mediocre (I felt it didn't even compare to outside breakfast stalls). On the first day of my stay, the room had a strong dusty smell, I'm not sure if it hadn't been cleaned or aired out, or if it had been vacant for too long.
Overall: I'm still quite satisfied, and it's a type of place I would consider staying at again. The attached photos were taken with a wide-angle lens."

"This hotel is an absolute no-brainer – just book it!
✅Service: The front desk staff are practically mind-readers! I was just about to look for a charging cable, and they already handed one over. When I checked out, they even gave me two bottles of water for the road – so thoughtful.
✅Breakfast: Breakfast is served until 10 AM, which is a dream for late risers! I had two bowls of wontons. My only 'suggestion': Can the egg chef please stop asking me 'sunny side up or over easy' every time? Just give me a soft-boiled egg, please! 😄
✅Hanfu Experience: Free! Free! Free! The styles are quite new and don't have that cheap 'ten-yuan photo studio' feel. I spent half an hour taking photos in the hotel garden, saving myself 60 yuan on hanfu rental at the scenic spot. Small suggestion: It would be even more perfect if they could provide a few simple hair clips or fan props. With just the clothes, my hands didn't know where to go...
✅Location: It's about a 5-minute walk to the scenic area's main entrance – literally 'out the hotel door, and around the corner'. If you get tired, you can come back to relax and then head out again. It's a blessing for those traveling with seniors or children.

"Pretty good! I booked for two nights and then extended for another. I visited during the off-season, so the room rate was very affordable. I booked the cheapest room, and they kindly upgraded us, which was wonderful. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic, providing us with unlimited bottled water, and their service was prompt. The hotel was renovated two years ago, so everything is relatively new, cozy, and comfortable. The area nearby is quite bustling with plenty of food options; the small shops downstairs all serve delicious food. It's also convenient to get to all the tourist attractions by taxi.
There were a couple of minor downsides, though. First, the bathroom drain had a bad odor, mainly because the toilet's plumbing wasn't properly installed during construction. Also, the soundproofing was just average. I booked two rooms next to each other and could hear my family talking, even recognizing their voices. However, since there were no other guests staying next to us, it wasn't really an issue."

The film and television city's various scenic spots are all within 3-5 kilometers, making the drive a leisurely 10-minute drive. This is a new and comfortable hotel, and the all-seasons quality experience is excellent. The window offers a wide view of the countryside and trees, and I fall asleep to the distant chirping of insects and frogs. The soundproofing is excellent with the windows closed. The breakfast was also satisfactory. Overall, the experience was excellent.

Maybe because it is a newly opened hotel, the breakfast soy milk machine was not adjusted properly, and the sweet soy milk I chose turned out to be water. I checked in late at night and saw that the coffee machine and table in the lobby were in a mess and no one had cleaned them up…

It is my first time to stay at the Orange Hotel. The room is clean and tidy, and the environment is also very good. Xiaolin and Xiaowu at the front desk are warm and thoughtful. Malay Malaysian guest here😍 I stayed here for two nights as I was visiting Hengdian. overall I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. Cleanliness was very satisfying, the room n toilet were well maintained. The bathroom came with basic amenities like slippers, toothbrush, towels, and a floor mat. The shower, sink, and both hot and cold water worked perfectly.
The room was also well equipped with a kettle, cups, and some sachets (possibly coffee or tea). The TV and air conditioning were both functioning well, which made the stay comfortable.
One of the best things about this hotel is definitely the location. It’s situated along Wansheng Street, which is very lively and happening at night. You can easily walk around as everything is nearby, plenty of shops, restaurants, and even a pharmacy right in front of the hotel. For Muslim travelers like us, this location is especially convenient as there is a halal restaurant (qingzhen) just across the hotel, making it very easy to find halal food.
The receptionist was also very helpful and friendly. Even though there was a language barrier, they still tried their best to communicate and assist us.
Another great facility is the laundry room near the lobby. It’s very convenient, with 2 washing machines, a dryer, a steam iron n even detergent provided.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, facilities, and especially its strategic location✨✨✨✨✨

The location is great, and the room is large, over 40 square meters. However, the facilities are quite old. There were bugs crawling around the bathroom sink and the induction cooktop by the entrance. The refrigerator wasn't plugged in, and the washing machine didn't work.
The most terrifying thing was the first night of our stay. In the middle of the night, someone (a woman, maybe a hotel staff member?) suddenly knocked on our door. I was half asleep and didn't realize it was someone knocking on our door. A moment later, they swiped their card and let me in. I was terrified. I asked who it was, and she immediately apologized for the mistake and left. I was so scared that I couldn't sleep all night. I couldn't sleep well the next day either, constantly worried someone might break in.
This hotel isn't a single-story building; it's part of a high-rise complex housing several other hotels. Downstairs is quite convenient, with plenty of food and drink options. It's in a central location in Hengdian.

Guest UserThe bathroom came with a complete set of kids' amenities: Hello Kitty toothbrushes, small slippers, children's bathrobes, and soft towels. The front desk also proactively offered a kids' mouthwash cup, snacks, and a sweet tremella soup. The room was spacious, mostly featuring a king bed plus a child's single bed, which was perfect for two adults and one child without feeling cramped. The soft carpet meant kids could safely play barefoot. The breakfast buffet had a baby food section and kid-friendly tableware, with congee, pastries, and steamed eggs suitable for younger children. The front desk staff were very knowledgeable about the scenic area routes and could help explain tips for visiting during off-peak times. Luggage storage was also convenient. Booking the hotel plus a scenic area package offered great value for money, much cheaper than buying tickets separately.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hengdian, Half Summer. It’s not too crowded, I don’t have to wait for the lift for too long unlike in a hotel. Check in was a breeze. The staff there were friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese style or western style. I preferred the Chinese style breakfast. The bed was comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep every night. The shower always had hot water, even the basin as well. Basic toiletries were provided. The staff even provided complimentary mineral water (daily) and fruits as well. I could also order food delivery.
The location is wonderful. I took a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yiwu station, then from Yiwu station, I took a cab to 凌云 Lingyun Metro/Light Rail station. Then I took the metro/light rail from 凌云 Lingyun to 明清宫 Ming Qing Palace.
Once I exit the metro/Light Rail station, I took didi to the hotel directly.
From the hotel, it is only a 10-15 mins walk to 2 local night markets and bubble tea shops. Not to mention that the attractions are also just a short didi away.
The only thing that I hoped they provided was local tv channels. They do have a projector, but one would have to subscribe to watch local shows.
