"This is a wonderful hotel. Good location. Next to the ticket office. From the window you can see the place of boarding on the bus, which follows to the waterfall. At the reception, the wonderful staff, not even understanding English, they were able to solve all the difficulties. The girls called a colleague who helped with the translation. In the future, she always tried to help and answer questions. Provide information about the picturesque place, gave information where the bus stop is located. Delicious breakfast, cleanliness, it was a bit cool but I still recommend this hotel."

"This stay at the Hanting Hotel truly exceeded my expectations, deserving a perfect score! ✨ From check-in, the front desk staff were warm and efficient, providing smiling service throughout and proactively introducing the hotel facilities and surrounding environment, making me feel exceptionally cared for. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The bathroom facilities were complete, the hot water supply was stable, and the toiletries were of good quality. The hotel's public areas surprised me even more. The lobby has a modern and minimalist design, with a dedicated lounge area for relaxation and self-service tea and coffee stations. Very convenient. There are free washing machines and dryers. There's even a gym! Hanting's 4.0 version is still so advanced, haha, they've thought of everything! The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious, including local specialties; I highly recommend trying the crispy pork belly and spicy chicken. Moreover, it's very close to the bus station, ticket hall, and the entrance to Huangguoshu Waterfall, only a few hundred meters away, just a few minutes' walk. Parking is also convenient, as the hotel offers free parking. The nearby restaurants are also fantastic! They're all very close by; the small restaurant we ate at yesterday even offered to pick us up from the hotel, and the food was quite good. Overall, the service, facilities, environment, and hygiene were all excellent. It's incredibly cost-effective, and I'll definitely choose this restaurant again next time I'm here. "Fantastic! This 3-star hotel truly delivers a 5-star experience. The owner is incredibly warm and kind, personally overseeing everything with thoughtful service. The hotel isn't far from the scenic area, just about a ten-minute walk, but they still offer free shuttle service to the scenic area's ticket center or the bus station. The rooms are clean, new, and equipped with smart technology. The restaurant downstairs also provides excellent service. Here’s a little anecdote: My wife and I stayed for two nights. On the first night, we had a hot pot for ¥138 at the restaurant. Vegetables were unlimited, but there was a large plate of chicken we couldn't finish. My wife and I both dislike wasting food, so we asked if we could save half for the next evening. On the second night, after enjoying our meal at the restaurant, the owner only charged us ¥25 for the vegetables when we went to pay. We felt a bit awkward, thinking it wasn't right to only pay for ingredients and that service charges should also be included. However, the owner absolutely refused to take more. In the end, we left ¥50 in cash, which meant we essentially paid a ¥25 service fee. So, we ended up having a very inexpensive dinner. The owner of this hotel is a truly genuine person, and we were so touched that we felt we should share this little incident with everyone."

"I forgot to take photos of the hotel. During our trip to Guizhou, we booked hotels in Guiyang, Huangguoshu Waterfall, Xiaoqikong, and Qianhu Miao Village. This hotel has the lowest rating among all the hotels and is relatively cheap, but! To my surprise, it is the best one among all the hotels! The hotel in Guiyang is an ordinary business hotel. I regretted that I should have booked a hotel in the scenic area after booking the inn in Xiaoqikong. The inn in Qianhu Miao Village is known as a light luxury inn. The price is super expensive, but in fact, the facilities are very old. Half of the panoramic balcony is blocked by unfinished buildings, and you have to climb very high stairs to get up. I feel that the high ratings of the other hotels are all brushed by someone. Huangguoshu Waterfall is different from Xiaoqikong. Several waterfalls are in different places and need to take a long viewing car to get there. There is no need to book a hotel in the scenic area. This hotel is very convenient to walk a distance to the entrance of the scenic area. I read the comments before, saying that this hotel is relatively old, and I was very worried, but in fact, the hotel facilities are well maintained, the rooms are spacious, the windows are very large, and there is a mountain view outside. The air is fresh and very comfortable. The pillow was of moderate height and not too bulgy. It was the most comfortable pillow among all the hotels. This was also the best night’s sleep I had during my trip to Guizhou."

"Bringing my parents, who are almost 60, to Huangguoshu Waterfall was too tiring for a day trip from Guiyang, so I highly recommend staying a few nights near the scenic area entrance. This guesthouse was extremely satisfactory. The location is about a 5-minute walk from the ticket gate and bus stop, and also a 5-10 minute walk from the restaurant street. The guesthouse is situated on the inner side of a commercial street, offering a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, convenient yet peaceful. Breakfast is included, though simple. However, the owner (not sure if she was the owner) made incredibly delicious noodles! I had a bowl every morning during my stay. After check-in, a service group was created, and the service was excellent; requests made in the group were quickly responded to and resolved! It was truly great! I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to visit again! The guesthouse has a maximum of three floors without an elevator. The owner will arrange for someone to help carry large suitcases up. Those with mobility issues should opt for lower floors."

"It was a superb stay experience. At the May 1st travel festival, staying in Shiqianlan is a feeling of being at home. The hotel is very new and clean. There is no need to worry about hygiene. "Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good. The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!"
