Unless you're willing to pay nearly 300 RMB for a chartered car, you'll be stuck. The hygiene is good, and the surroundings are beautiful. The only downside is that restaurants and convenience stores are about a kilometer away, almost reaching the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The shuttle bus only starts at 11 AM, apparently due to morning traffic control, which begins at 9 AM. If you want to get to the scenic area earlier, you'll need to take a taxi. The breakfast selection is quite rich, the laundry room is convenient, and the staff are very friendly."

"This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The room looks nothing like the pictures online; it's barely 10 square meters! It feels like it hasn't been updated since 2007. There's zero soundproofing, and I was woken up at 6 AM by noise. The toilet kept making a rattling noise in the middle of the night, and even after staff came to fix it twice, they couldn't, and actually made it so it couldn't flush at all. I couldn't even use the toilet the next morning! How dare they charge 300 a night for this? It's worth 70 bucks at most! Absolutely terrible!"

After returning to the scenic area, we didn't want to go back to the hotel to retrieve our luggage, so after discussing it with the hotel front desk, a hotel staff member personally drove it to us. The service was truly excellent."
