"Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel in Cairo. The staff were one of the strongest points: all very well-educated, respectful, and professional. They spoke English fluently, were knowledgeable about Cairo’s attractions, good restaurants, and cafés, and at the same time remained warm, friendly, and approachable. Breakfast was acceptable but not very varied, especially considering it was served on the rooftop. On colder or windy days, it was not very comfortable to sit there. Another minor downside was the street noise. While traffic noise is quite normal in Cairo, double-glazed windows could definitely improve guests’ comfort and quietness. The hotel price was reasonable, and I believe the level of service provided is fair for what you pay. We booked two tours through the hotel. One was to Alexandria, which was very enjoyable: the guide was cheerful and fun, the driver was professional, and the car was excellent. The second tour was to Giza and the pyramids, also a great experience. The tour guide was patient and very knowledgeable about Egyptian history and civilization. In general, I was satisfied with the hotel. There is room for improvement, especially regarding noise, but for the price, it is a good option and offers solid value."

"Historic bank on the outside, sophisticated boutique hotel on the inside, a brilliant merge! Despite its location being right in the bustling heart of Cairo, with many cafes & shops all around, the building is tucked into a little street with less traffic, so the noise levels are lower. The hotel itself was unassuming from the outside (there was no signage that said ”Saint J Hotel”), but we were warmly greeted by the friendly hotel staff. The lobby was simple but had a lovely, refreshing scent - a nice touch. The rooms were spacious, beautifully-designed & well-equipped with everything we needed & more. Our mother had so much fun cooking a bit of breakfast for the family daily. The beds were so comfortable. The bathrooms were such a delight - super strong rain shower, it was heavenly! There was a washer (with laundry detergent provided) in each room too, which was very handy. Just two things that needs to be improved: 1. Install sheer curtains behind the thick curtains so that guests can let natural light in without worrying about privacy 2. Install hooks or towel bars in the bathroom for guests to hang towels All in all, we were so happy we stayed here!"

"We arrived very very early in morning because of delayed flight but the check in was seamless and room was ready and we managed breakfast. Cleanliness is excellent for its style and location which we enjoyed very much. Location is perfect if you want to feel for real non tourist Cairo and all major points of interest are walkable distances. It’s not the Hilton or Ritz but it is somewhere where you will feel at home. Due to cultural differences you might want to stock up on tissue rolls and bottles 😅. Hi recommended and will stay again without any thought. The staff at Breakfast were especially warm and welcoming at every breakfast and the one dinner we had there, thank you Fouad."

"Great location in downtown Cairo, right on Talaat Harb Street – close to shops, restaurants, and offices. The hotel is basic but clean. Most rooms don’t have windows. No elevator and no sign at the entrance, but the staff are friendly and helpful. Good value for"

"Wow, this place is really great and offers excellent value for money. The facilities are top-notch, and the other guests are very polite and respectful of personal space. The staff here are some of the best English speakers I've encountered in Egypt. They were incredibly caring and thoughtful when I asked them to help me communicate with locals. One lady even helped me loosely plan my itinerary for the next few days. I'd definitely love to come back and stay in one of their private rooms if I get the chance."

"Location: Located within a 10-minute walk of the Egyptian Museum, and very convenient for getting to the Gobus Tahrir Square station, the location is excellent. However, the entrance is a bit hard to find, mainly because there's no sign with the same name as the platform. Actually, it's right next to a bookstore called Tulip Hotel. Take the elevator to the 4th floor to find the reception. Facilities: Cairo hotel facilities are generally similar. There was no hairdryer or tissues provided. Also, because it's on a street, it's quite noisy. The room facilities weren't noisy (like the toilet running or the refrigerator vibrating), which was a plus. I didn't have breakfast because I was rushing to catch my train, so I don't know what it was like."

"Good reception, we arrived early and the room was not ready. We left our things and went for a walk. The hotel is clean and well located. The price is correct for a real hotel in this area. The room was good, nothing to complain about."
