"The room was a bit dated, and the furniture quite basic. On the plus side, it's very close to the train station, and within walking distance of the art gallery, cathedral, and good spots to watch the sunset. What's even better, it's right at the entrance of Chinatown, making it incredibly convenient for enjoying Chinese food and browsing the Chinese supermarket. I even found the best-tasting water I've ever had on a trip at the Chinese supermarket – I was so happy about that! However, watch out for that ice cream shop on the same street – it's a total rip-off!"

"Despite being a 3-star hotel, it's one of the rare hotels where you can receive 5-star service, breakfast, and attention. We extend our sincere thanks to the young lady at the reception desk who addressed and resolved our issues from the moment we arrived; to Antonio and Maddelena, who worked tirelessly in the dining room, keeping the breakfast variety fresh and vibrant, turning it into a feast that satisfied our eyes, hearts, and stomachs; and to the cleaning staff who meticulously took care of our room and addressed any deficiencies. They made us feel more like we were at home than in a hotel. The hotel's proximity to the city center and tram station also makes accessing everything very easy. You can reach the hotel from the train station by tram in 5 stops, and you can also walk to the nice restaurants and sights in the city center. We definitely recommend it to families and groups of friends visiting Florence."

"Strategically well located, within 3-5 minutes from the Firenze station. With lots food options at reasonably and budget priced. For instance, just outside the hotel, less than a min walk, a Chinese no frills restaurant provides a good Asian spread of Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese Ramen and fusion at competitive prices. Mcdonald is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Other Italian restaurants are found within 3-5 mins walk from the hotel. Though, this place is busy and bustly, it is rather safe to move around. The security system in the hotel is good and rather peaceful. Staff are excellent with good knowledge of The city of Florence. The Duomo (see Pic) is about 10mins walk from the hotel. Further down, about 5 mins walk, you can access the Uffizy Gallery with great Art collection of the Renaissance era. Also, you can take a 10 mins walk via the Firenze station to access coaches for our daily tours and Designer’s factory outlet at The Mall. No regrets booking Cosimo for comfort and convenience for our great Florentine experience."

"The room is big, the facilities are OK, the service attitude is very good, they help to book a taxi, provide travel information, etc. The hotel is more than 20 minutes' walk from the railway station and a little far from the city center. It takes more than 30 minutes to walk to Santa Maria del Fiore, about 1.2 kilometers; the old bridge is even farther... The overall cost performance is still acceptable."

"I booked a single room. It was larger than expected and I was very satisfied. The staff are very warm and friendly and happy to help you solve your problems. The location is a bit remote, and you basically need to take a car to get out. It takes about 25 minutes to reach the central square."

"My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. It's conveniently located close to the train station and within easy reach of the attractions. The room was clean, and a nice bonus was having a coffee machine with capsules and a tea station. I also appreciated the complimentary candies and cookies with the coffee. I arrived by an early morning train from Rome and left on the last train the next day. I was able to leave my backpack before check-in and explore unburdened. The breakfast was good, tasty, and I enjoyed it – there was plenty of everything. The pickled plums for dessert were especially delicious. The staff was friendly. In the lobby, you can grab coffee, water, and snacks (you should check at check-in, as it seems to be included in the stay). You can also order wine and Aperol at reasonable prices. There are restaurants near the hotel. Overall, I liked everything."

"The hotel is very strategically located close to most of the tourist spots. The staff are also very accommodating and friendly. bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean as well. Only downside was that their shampoo and body wash was too small. But that’s not a big deal."

"The room is dingy and uninviting. There's mold on the bathroom ceiling. The bed isn't a double bed; it's single beds of varying firmness pushed together. It's completely uncomfortable to sleep. The reception staff was friendly and they packed a to-go breakfast for our early checkout. The sights are a 15-minute tram ride away, and the tram stop is a 5-minute walk from the hotel."

"This hotel is okay if you get a good deal, but it's not worth paying extra for a special experience. The location is fantastic, literally 10 meters from the Duomo! It feels safe, though you'll be woken up by the church bells every morning. Service was a mixed bag, very hit or miss, which I guess is typical for Italy. Some staff were warm and helpful, others were quite cold. We had a family room, which wasn't the exact room type pictured and was a bit smaller than expected. However, you can tell it has very high ceilings, suggesting it might have once been owned by a wealthy family or banker. The overall design and structural style haven't changed much. Cleanliness was a concern. There were pillows on the bed that couldn't be removed, and it seems in Italy, duvets are often just a sheet with a reusable blanket on top, which I personally found a bit unhygienic (but I respect cultural differences). There weren't many charging outlets, and the design isn't standardized across rooms (e.g., outlet placement, a chair specifically for towels in the bathroom, etc.). Ultimately, don't pay a premium to stay here. If the price is right, then it's an option."
