"The hotel is very close to the train station, just a 5-minute walk away. It's also conveniently located within a 10 to 15-minute walk of attractions like the Duomo and the Accademia Gallery. The next morning, it was less than a 2km walk to the Uffizi Gallery, where we managed to get early bird tickets for 8:15 AM. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was excellent. Overall, it offers great value for money and comes highly recommended."

"Great location, especially good for intercity travel through SMN station. Room size is not big but good enough for us to mange luggages, and to take rest. We love their breakfast, good taste and mix of croissants, coffee, fruit, cereal, cheese,.. etc, charged only at Euro 15 per head. If I have to pick something better for improvement, I would say that the hotel rate per day at off season could be 20% or 30% discount."

"The room was a bit dated, but it had all the necessary amenities and was very quiet. The luggage storage felt a bit informal and insecure since bags were left unattended, but thankfully, theft doesn't seem to be a common problem. Its location is excellent, very close to both the train station and the Duomo."

"The hotel is close to the city center, which is very convenient for walks. The staff is polite and very friendly. Upon learning it was my first time in Florence, they gave me a tourist map and informed me about the sights, even drawing a convenient route for me. At my request, they printed out a concert ticket. The room was warm. I made tea using my own water heater, so the absence of a kettle wasn't an issue. Breakfast was perfectly fine, just like at most hotels. The hotel definitely undersells itself with its star rating; it could easily be a 3-star."

"I was very pleased with my stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even let us check in early. A nice bonus was the free ice available on the ground floor. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The room was well-equipped with a fridge and a hairdryer, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of most attractions."

"During my two days in Florence, I chose this guesthouse/hotel, which was about a 700-meter walk from the train station. The hotel was quiet, clean, and tidy. The hotel contacted me beforehand, added me on WeChat, and sent me videos showing how to enter the hotel and my room, which reassured me. There were probably four rooms in total. There was a communal tea bar with self-service amenities such as biscuits, coffee and tea bags, and a kettle. Compared to other hotels I stayed at, this was a good value for money option."

"3m walk to train station, near to popular restaurants, 24h reception, elevator to hotel and clean. I think the hotel did a renovation so the cabinets, tables and all look new. It also feels warmer than other hotels i stayed, making it comfortable during March. Only thing to comment is the small shower area and there’s no thermal flask. Affordable price 65usd over a sunday night. Happy with stay!!"

"The hotel is a renovated old building. Because the interior is newly renovated, it is clean and tidy👍 However, it is a bit overwhelming for the decoration to be completed in one step and ”unmanned management”. You must download the required app according to the email in advance, complete the cumbersome registration process, and activate the electronic key. This is very important. Because I didn't open the email in advance, I registered and downloaded outside the hotel on a hot day, which was very uncomfortable. I can't accept ”unmanaged” hotels at all"

"This is a great location hotel, whether it is to go to the downtown area or to the pizza next door, it is very convenient to live here. The room was spacious and clean, the windows were very distinctive, the bed was very wide and the mattress was very soft and comfortable to sleep, and we had a good rest here. The front desk was two very friendly and welcoming gentlemen who helped us store our luggage for free. Except for a little noise on the street, everything else was perfect and I was very satisfied."

"Despite being a 3-star hotel, it's one of the rare hotels where you can receive 5-star service, breakfast, and attention. We extend our sincere thanks to the young lady at the reception desk who addressed and resolved our issues from the moment we arrived; to Antonio and Maddelena, who worked tirelessly in the dining room, keeping the breakfast variety fresh and vibrant, turning it into a feast that satisfied our eyes, hearts, and stomachs; and to the cleaning staff who meticulously took care of our room and addressed any deficiencies. They made us feel more like we were at home than in a hotel. The hotel's proximity to the city center and tram station also makes accessing everything very easy. You can reach the hotel from the train station by tram in 5 stops, and you can also walk to the nice restaurants and sights in the city center. We definitely recommend it to families and groups of friends visiting Florence."

GGuest UserGood location, very close to the train station & Centro storico. Room size was very good, with a BALCONY! Even though privacy may be a bit compromised but can’t have everything. It had very good natural lighting. The bathroom was also big, bigger than most bathroom in Italian hotels. I could dance & turn around in the shower stall. Check in required a bit of tech-savviness & naturally the internet. Unlocking gate & room required the use of an internet browser/done on a smart phone. There’re plenty of food options around, a bar/cafe/gelateria right down the building. Coffee machine & drinking water available for the taking. There’s a big shared fridge and an in-room fridge. Internet was fast. Plenty of charging ports/power outlets, conveniently placed (including bedside). Maybe one small suggestion: perhaps there’d be a desk. The TV didn’t work but I wouldn’t watch anything in Italian. I could YouTube with the fast internet. Good toiletries & drinking water provided & refreshed daily (some hotels don’t do this). Highly recommended.

SSofia AbdulMy stay here was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We needed to carry heavy luggage up the stairs then take small lift to the hotel lobby. The room and toilet were a bit cramped. The floor was very cold when I visited at the end of November, but luckily I brought my own slippers. The room was clean, albeit a bit old in design, with provided toiletries except for a toothbrush and toothpaste, which was fine since I had my own. They also provide a kettle and water bottles. The hotel is within walking distance to many attractions, the leather market, a halal restaurant, and is conveniently located near the main train station. We can leave luggage before check in & after checking. Overall, highly recommended.

JJUNHWANIt was so good. The advantage is that there is a tram right in front of you, and the price is cheap as it is a little far from the tourist spots. There was a big mart at the station just before, so it was nice to see the market. The downside is that you can go to the tourist spot by tram for about 20 minutes, but it wasn't a big problem. It was nice to be quiet. The room was spacious and the shampoo filled every day was well used. However, the check-in process was a bit cumbersome. I would like to reuse it if I come to Florence again next time.

CChrisI really don't understand how foreigners think. I booked this well in advance. At the time, I could only book one night in a standard room plus two nights in a premium room. On the day of check-in, there was a cheaper premium room available, and the booking price was even lower. But the front desk still insisted on me checking into the standard room for one night, then checking out at noon on the second day, leaving my luggage at the front desk, and then checking into the premium room later that afternoon for the remaining two nights. It turned out the premium room wasn't even as good as the standard room; the lighting was a bit strange, and the room size was the same. The hotel breakfast was decent though.

AAlexandraSHotel overall is okay for a 3 star. Employees were always friendly. Free parking and if full, hotel as a old garage underneath which it was where we parked. Breakfast was okay also for a 3 star hotel. Amenities nothing to be honest, on our room we had some stuff broken also… could get some refurbishment. And also, it is not a queen bed, it was two single beds close to each other… with no top mattress anything…

TtakuminThe elevator was shaky and the exterior was a bit old, with many noticeable features. I was also bothered by the dim lighting throughout the building and the lack of a refrigerator in the room. Also, the lights at the entrance didn't work. Still, it's just a short tram ride from center of Florence on the T2 line, and I was able to sleep well in my private room with dim, indirect lighting. Breakfast is included, so I think it's reasonable for the price. I didn't realize there was a laundry room there, so I didn't use it. There was also a coin laundry nearby.

GGuest UserThe location is average, about ten minutes walk from the tram station. The sheets were not very clean. I even saw blood stains that had not been washed away. . . . . We didn't see any staff during the whole process. We only communicated and paid by phone and email. We arrived at 11 noon. When we called the staff, she told us the door lock code and then allowed us to go in and put our luggage. This was good.
