Guest UserWell, I'm back at this hotel again, having booked a different room this time! The location is excellent; you can get there directly by tram, and it's within walking distance to almost anywhere. Plus, the staff are super responsive!

Guest Userthe hotel is rather old, you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs before even reaching the hotel lobby. the check in process is slow as the counter guy will be busy talking away with his colleague and taking his time while doing your check in (it was the same for every guests)
the shower head is very heavy and falls off easily and the towels were dirty. one good thing is that hotel slippers were provided but no new ones when they clean the room. also do note that they do not provide a “do not disturb” sign and will clean your room everyday, they will bang on your door to check if you are still in the room.
i was assigned on the first floor and they start cleaning very early in the morning which is very noisy and disruptive, the cleaners will just be talking away.
the room has very thin walls and i can literally hear water gushing whenever the person in the room beside flushes. it is also noisy due to the vehicles since it is near the main road.

YigeananfangqibudongshidemengThis was the most comfortable and favorite hotel I stayed at in Florence. Strictly speaking, it's a guesthouse-style hotel. It was very cozy, clean, comfortable, and tidy. The room was cleaned and the trash cans were emptied daily. Every time I returned from my trip, it felt like coming home; the sheets and blankets were neatly made and tidied. The air conditioning was cool and quiet, and the room had no unpleasant odors. The large floor-to-ceiling windows let in sunlight, making the room clean and bright! The windows were well soundproofed, so it was quiet to sleep at night. I was glad there was a microwave in the common areas, and there was a Carrefour supermarket about ten minutes away, which was fantastic—the peaches were cheap and of good quality. For this price, the room had a kettle, a refrigerator, a safe, free water, coffee, and small desserts. I love European accommodations with balconies; I could make a cup of coffee in the morning and leisurely enjoy it on the balcony while watching passersby. The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the train station and a ten-minute walk from the Florence Cathedral. The only thing was to be careful not to splash water on the toilet floor when showering, as the toilet didn't have a door to maintain a clean design. Another point I'd like to mention is: please be sure to patiently read the link in the email sent by the hotel and fill out the form completely before submitting it. After following the instructions step by step, you'll get a screen on your phone to unlock the door, and then you can use the electronic lock to enter your room smoothly. The front desk staff were very helpful in carrying our luggage to our accommodation. In short, our stay here left us with wonderful memories of our busy yet enjoyable trip to Florence.

We had a very good stay, the room was spacious and very comfortable. The only thing is that it’s not specify on trip.com that the room in not directly a part of the hotel but a room in a building at 4 minutes. The address for the checking is Via delle Ruote, 52, 50129 Firenze FI, Italy (Hotel royal). We could still enjoy all the services as breakfast, pool and luggage storage. I recommend

I stayed at two hotels in Florence, and this one was a standard, convenient hotel. However, the room was too small, and the breakfast was very mediocre. I'd recommend the other guesthouse more, comparatively. Both are within a five-minute walk from the train station.
The pros are the excellent location, right next to a small square opposite the train station, so I never felt unsafe coming back late. It's also very close to all the attractions; just turn right out of the door and walk down the alley to find the Central Market and the Duomo. There's even a Chinese restaurant and a bubble tea shop downstairs.

I stayed with my aunt and my friend for 2 nights recently; we had 3 beds in the same room, 1 single and 1 double. The hotel had basic amenities - private bathroom which was a little small for me and a TV in the room. We didn't notice a kettle in the room but to be honest, we weren't really bothered since we had paid for the hotel breakfast.
The breakfast had small selection of hot food: eggs and sausages were really good. The coffee machine wasn't working properly but the staff did everything they could to provide espressos for the guests. Speaking of the staff, they were so kind and amazing, The 1st staff we saw was kind enough to mark the local/popular attractions on the map and give us some guidance on what to do and where to go. They also gave us this incentive where we all got free breakfasts for the 2nd day after signing up to the hotel account (or something like that). The only major con about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator and it was noisy all morning and late at night so please if you can, ask for a faraway room!

Reviews of accommodation at Oliveto Palace Hotel
Palazzo Oliveto in Florence, with its exquisite design and warm service, added infinite wonderful memories to my trip. The hotel is located in the city center, within walking distance of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Uffizi Gallery. The location is extremely convenient.
Entering the hotel lobby, you can feel the strong Renaissance atmosphere. The retro decoration and modern facilities are cleverly integrated, showing Italian elegance and taste. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with a simple yet high-quality design, comfortable beds, and an elegant Florentine street view outside the window, making people feel like they are in a classical painting.
The breakfast is rich and delicious, including a variety of local flavor choices. The service staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel warm. Whether it is travel inquiries or special needs, hotel staff can respond quickly and provide thoughtful assistance.
The Oliveto Palace Hotel is an excellent choice to experience the charm of Florence. Whether you are exploring history and culture or enjoying a quiet time, it is an unforgettable place.
