"Hotel was good. Close to city center. You can walk to bus C2 that takes you to everywhere in city center directly, we did that. It has a tap system with your payment card. Only thing we wondered was a construction worker in the room beside us working until 23.50 with vaccum cleaner and banging. We were up, but if you would had to sleep, it would have been alot annoying. But everything was great, good service. And it was clean."

"Amazing, amazing, amazing! It's super close to attractions, the train station, and shops!!! The staff inside are also very warm and friendly. Plus, the front desk offers free lemonade and croissants (do you know how great that is? You don't need to buy water; you can refill your bottle every day). The facilities are well-equipped. If you need an electric kettle, you can ask at the front desk. I truly recommend everyone choose this place!"

"The hotel is actually an apartment style building right next to a busy walkway, very convenient. However the elevator only fits about 1 person with luggage. Tightest and smallest elevator I have ever seen. Management requires you to leave the key with them when you leave the room saying it’s easier to track who’s in the building or not, not so convincing and why does it matter. The entrance to the hotel is never locked and strangers and just walk into the building while receptionist is on the third floor"

"We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel La Fortezza and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10–15 minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) train station. If you prefer public transportation, there is a bus stop just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to reach all the major attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of character. We especially appreciated having a room with a window, and everything was well maintained throughout our stay. One of the first things we noticed was the hotel’s pleasant signature fragrance, which created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, but we would especially like to thank Mr. Buli, who was working the night shift. We returned to the hotel late one evening after all the nearby restaurants had closed. When he learned that my son was hungry, he kindly prepared fresh sandwiches and yogurt for us from the hotel kitchen. His kindness and willingness to help went far beyond our expectations and made us feel truly cared for. Another thoughtful service was that the hotel offers complimentary travel adapters for guests, which was very convenient. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would happily stay at Hotel La Fortezza again on our next visit to Florence. "Booked this hotel on Trip.com app and very near to Firenze Central train station. Suitable for those travelling with luggage. Good area to stay and easy to walk to nearby attractions. A warm welcome by the gentleman handling the reception. He gave very good and clear instructions on the ground rules with door access if you wish to come back late at night. Got our room facing the main street but the hotel had sound proof windows and could hardly hear outside noise. Clean room with comfy bed. Basic amenities. Glad to say we had a great stay here and looking forward to come back next time."

"Clean hotel, great location Stayed for a week. Had a single room, small, but clean and efficient. On 2nd floor, backside of building, great view of orange roofs, the back steeple of San Marco church, the dome of the Duomo, and the tower at Piazza Signoria. Very quiet, there is a botanical garden across the street in back, so you can hear birds chirping. Went up to the top terrace a couple of times in the early evening, very nice, But would be too hot in daytime in the sun. Decor was “funky”: paintings looked straight out of a kindergarten classroom, and a chandelier made of plastic soda bottle parts- but fine! Bathroom looked as if it was renovated in the past year, very clean; great water pressure in shower. Air conditioner worked well. Staff were friendly and available 24/7 - great if you arrive after 10pm. Housekeeping came everyday, emptied wastebaskets, tidied the bedsheets and changed towels while I was out. I didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on it."

"The room has a charming vintage feel, it's clean, and offers 24-hour hot water and air conditioning. There's no elevator, but the front desk staff (especially the young man) were super helpful, assisting with luggage and providing free local maps. It's very close to major attractions like the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. Plus, there's a Carrefour supermarket right downstairs, perfect for grabbing water and essentials."

"沒想到在攜程會訂到這樣的民宿。到達時房間緊閉，並沒有前台。研究了半天，打了好幾個電話才聯繫上，需要自己網上登記入住再發來密碼進入，拿鑰匙開相應的房間。 一晚上貌似衹有我們一家入住。 免費提供瓶裝水，這一路來為數不多的酒店是這樣的。 酒店門口的路在維修，行車路線不是很明確。車需要找地方停在路邊的車位上。 房間裏兩間相連通的屋子，大床和沙發床。 有洗菜池和電磁爐，找到牆上的總開關就能用。沒有炊具和餐具。"

"We stayed at the ground floor. The room had windows with shutters that can not be opened. So we couldn’t see daylight. The bed was comfortable and shower was nice. The photos doesn’t match with the room nor the reception area. The hotel is a little far away from the town. You surely can get better rooms for this price."
