"it was stated as a smoking room but honestly there’s no cigarette smell! conveniently located right beside a 7-11 konbini & a few more others down the road! i love how towels, slippers, toiletries & even pajamas are generously provided. the nearest exit is exit 6 (stairs) and exit 14!!!!! (upslope if you’re heading to the hotel down) has a godsend elevator! would def book this hotel when i’m back in kobe :-)"

"Location: For traveling to and from Osaka Airport, you can take the airport bus from Kansai Airport directly to Sannomiya Station, which is about a 5-6 minute walk from the hotel. There's a new building under construction nearby, so it can be a bit noisy during the day, and some roads might be detoured. Dining: There's a 7-Eleven just 10 meters downstairs, and easily over 100 restaurants and bars around the hotel. You'll find food options all along the JR line. Shopping Area: It's actually more than a 5-minute walk to the main shopping streets and the busiest commercial area in Sannomiya. If proximity is a priority for you, there are closer options available. Room: The 1.6-meter bed is definitely fine for two people, but a 24-inch suitcase can only be opened in the bathroom or the hallway connected to the main entrance, making it very cramped. Cleanliness: Very clean. You can pick up toiletries like lotions and makeup remover on the 1st floor. Check-in is strictly after 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM."

"Rooms are bigger than average Japanese hotels, basically a new hotel just a minute away from KOBE CHINA TOWN. Plenty of shops to enjoy food or shopping. Breakfast is a little simple Indian restaurant, nothing to choose much. Bicycles can been rent at the front desk for 500 JPY per use. Very convenient to get around the city. Will absolutely stay here every-TIME visiting KOBE."

"The room is clean, parking is very convenient, the toilet is large, and the facilities are very new. However, the wifi is almost unavailable. The movie viewing is good. The hotel is only suitable for self-driving people. There is little public transportation nearby."

"Excellent value for money and a fantastic experience! The hotel is located in Chinatown, surrounded by tons of great food options, and transportation is quite convenient. The indoor hot spring, sauna, and bath facilities are absolutely wonderful! If you love soaking in hot springs and enjoying a sauna, you definitely shouldn't miss this. Soaking multiple times a day is pure bliss! The staff's service attitude is great, and the hygiene and environment are also very good. Although the room size isn't large, it's really clean and tidy. The clothes and slippers provided were perfect to change into before heading straight to the bath! Some of Kobe's attractions are also within walking distance. I highly recommend this place to all my friends!"

"Our room was ready when we arrived at 2pm and made available to us immediately. The room was clean, the staff friendly. Tea, coffee, juice and water are complementary all day long and between 5 & 8 pm they offer wine and snacks. What more could we ask for? Excellent quality for the price!"

"The location of Kobe Lumen Hotel is very good. It is in the city and the parking lot is easy to find. It is in the alley directly opposite the hotel and the price is reasonable. The hotel service is very good. We arrived very late and the check-in time was past, but they did not neglect us and arranged to check in immediately. When we checked out in the morning, we were 5 minutes late and they did not say anything. They were very gentle. The room was very clean and warm. The sound insulation effect was very good and suitable for living. In short, because of the comparison with the previous one, this one is simply heaven. The only flaw is that the room is a little small. Everything else is acceptable, mainly because of the cheap price."

"Very good hotel, the room is big in Japan. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk from Sannomiya Station, there are food on this road, and it is very close to the airport bus. The hotel is very clean, and the shampoo and shower gel are all from Kao. You can get free coffee in the morning, and there are supermarkets and drugstores next to the hotel. It is also very close to major department stores on foot, highly recommended! Maybe because I didn't buy ads on Xiaohongshu, so not many people recommend it. Next time I go to Kobe, I will choose to stay here"

"While the hotel's location isn't as bustling as Kobe's Sannomiya commercial center, it offers excellent value for money, considering its convenient transportation, shopping, dining options, and the hotel's facilities. Opened in 2023, the hotel is very new. I booked a 21 sqm Superior Twin Room, and it didn't feel cramped at all. What I particularly liked was the separate wet and dry shower room, making for a very comfortable shower experience. The hotel elevator goes directly to the basement, where a left turn leads straight to the ticket gates for Hankyu and Hanshin Electric Railways. A right turn and a short walk through the underground shopping street takes you to Kobe JR Station. For major Kobe attractions, including Himeji Castle, you'll primarily use these three railway lines (there are also many subways and buses, but they're largely unnecessary). Day trips to downtown Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, and other places from this hotel are very convenient and affordable. Outside the hotel and in the underground mall, there are plenty of restaurants for dinner. What I loved most were the two large supermarkets downstairs: Life and KOHYO, which offer many delicious and safe Japanese snacks to satisfy any craving. Many fresh food items start getting discounts in the evening, including sashimi, sushi, and tasty bread, which you can buy to eat in your room. Microwaves are available on the 6th and 10th floors. The hotel service was very responsive to requests, for example, when I asked for an extra pillow or daily coffee packets. The hotel's drawbacks: the duvet was too thick, and although the air conditioning kept me cool, its noise affected my sleep; the refrigerator was also a bit noisy. As a side note, for those traveling independently, getting to the hotel from Kobe Airport: take the Port Liner (elevated light rail) for 18 minutes (340 yen) to Sannomiya Station, then transfer to Kobe JR, Hankyu, or Hanshin lines, and the hotel is just 2 or 3 stops away."
