"I had a great stay at this hotel, especially as a manga fan. The room was clean, and I received fresh towels every day. Amenities such as toiletries could be picked up from the reception area, which was very convenient. The hotel also provides complimentary drinks 24/7, including water, coffee, and tea. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel with buses that go straight to Kyoto Station, and the nearest subway station is about a 10-minute walk away. The famous Nishiki Market is around a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There is also a convenience store right next to the hotel and a supermarket within a short walking distance, making it very easy to grab snacks, drinks, or anything else you might need. Popular attractions such as Nijō Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace are also within walking distance. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto."

"Facilities: The microwave was a highlight, making it easy to heat up meals. Hygiene: I chose this hotel based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu. My most basic requirement for a hotel is cleanliness. I was really angry to see stains directly on the bedding. As for other details, I couldn't bear to look closely. The water stains on the sink weren't even wiped clean, to the point where I didn't dare to use their bath towels. Environment: The hotel lobby environment is very good, and there's a supermarket nearby, which is great. However, it's quite far if you want to take the subway, especially with luggage."

"The room felt a little small, but the bed was perfectly sized, and the room was very clean. For this price for two people, I think it's the best value hotel in the Kawaramachi-Gojo area. When I went to bed, I was thirsty, but there were no vending machines between the front desk and the elevator, so I endured it. However, when I checked out, I noticed there was a self-service kitchen with a cold water dispenser on the basement floor. For someone like me who isn't very tech-savvy, it would have been even better if there was information about this in the room."

"This hotel is a 5-minute walk from Shijo Kawaramachi Station. Kyoto isn't very big, and in this weather, you can walk to Kiyomizu-dera, the Gion area, stroll along the river, and even reach the **** area all on foot. On the first day, I took public transport everywhere, only to realize later how close everything actually was. The room is small but clean. It's right on a main road, so there's some motorcycle noise, but it didn't bother my sleep much. For consecutive stays, you can put a sticker on your door if you don't want housekeeping; just leave your trash and old towels outside, and fresh ones will be hung on your door. Breakfast includes four types of bread, onsen tamago (hot spring egg), coffee, yogurt, milk, and mashed potatoes for 40 yuan, which I found very satisfying. Consumables are available for self-service by the elevator. On check-in and check-out days, you can use your Suica card to lock your luggage, which is right in front of the front desk. There are many restaurants in the alley between the hotel and the Kamo River worth trying."

"The staff were very welcoming every time I entered the hotel or came down to the lobby, which made the stay feel warm and comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located between two train stations, making it easy to travel around the area. There is also a convenience store right opposite the hotel, and a McDonald’s just around the corner, which adds to the overall convenience. Breakfast is served at the café downstairs, which appears to be a popular local spot as it is always filled with diners. Although the selection is not very wide, the food is quite delicious and satisfying. The room itself is clean and well-maintained, although on the smaller side. Overall, a simple but very convenient and pleasant stay with friendly service and a great location."

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Resol Kyoto Kawaramachi Sanjo. Everything is excellent — the hotel is very clean, the service is amazing, and the staff is kind and helpful. The location is perfect because it is close to many shops, restaurants, and sightseeing places, so it is very easy to explore Kyoto. The room is comfortable and the hotel has a calm and beautiful atmosphere. I really enjoy my time here and I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto! 😊🏯"

The bathroom has a convenient wet/dry separation, making it very comfortable to use. The staff were polite and professional throughout my stay, and responded quickly to any requests. The facilities are comprehensive, with stable hot water and internet. The surrounding area also has great amenities, so dining and shopping are no problem. I felt completely relaxed and comfortable during my stay. It's suitable for both business trips and short getaways. My experience was perfect, and it's definitely worth coming back to!"

Breakfast was good, and the view from the first floor is also quite nice. They provide free umbrellas, which is convenient when it rains. For shopping, there's Shinfukan across the street, but other places require a 20-minute walk or a subway ride. From Tokyo Station, take the Marunouchi Line to Kokkai-gijidomae Station, and Exit 3-2 has a direct elevator, which is great if you have large luggage. Overall, it's good value for money."

Right at the entrance of the property, there is a 7-Eleven, which adds a great level of convenience. Whether you need a quick snack, drinks, or travel essentials, everything is easily accessible at any time of day. Additionally, Kyoto Station itself features a large shopping complex with countless dining options, retail stores, and services, so you are truly in the center of everything. The room size is on the smaller side, but this is typical for Kyoto and was expected. Despite the limited space, the room is functional and suitable for a short stay. The hotel operates with a modern, efficient system, offering automated check-in and check-out machines, which makes the process quick and hassle-free. Amenities are not placed inside the room; instead, guests can pick up what they need from the front desk. This approach is understandable and aligns well with environmentally friendly practices. Breakfast is a highlight of the stay. The quality of the food is very good, and the staff in the breakfast area are particularly warm, attentive, and welcoming, which adds a pleasant start to the day. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The area above the bedboard was noticeably dusty, which detracts slightly from the overall cleanliness. In addition, the curtains do not fully block out the sunlight, resulting in the room becoming quite bright early in the morning. I would recommend that the hotel consider providing eye masks for guests, or alternatively, travelers should bring their own. It is also worth noting that eye masks are not available at the nearby 7-Eleven, and during my two-night stay, the strong morning sunlight consistently woke me up earlier than expected."
