"It looks like a condominium at first glance. (Actually, the 5th floor or more was a condominium, and there seemed to be a resident.)
The front desk is on the 2nd floor, and there are many chairs on the 1st and 2nd floors, so there is plenty of room. I stayed in the room alone, so I could use it comfortably. Also. Breakfast was satisfying with a lot of items!
The only thing that made me worried was the entrance to the large communal bath. It was quite open and I was harassed that I could see the inside."
Renovated in August 2023! "Sumie Chita" - A blissful hot spring inn for adults
"If you look for a nice quiet place for a relaxing stay, this is a superb ryokan in the area that I would recommend.
The ryokan building is beautifully decorated, despite its age. I particularly appreciate the sincere service from the manager and hosts. You can rely on them to take care of your stay. They could also provide pick-up and drop-off service at Utsumi Station.
Dinner and breakfast were well-prepared with natural ingredients. Not only are they delicious but also presented nicely. The lobby also provides complimentary drinks and snacks - you can enjoy a little footbath there with a glass of whiskey and some nuts.
Of course you cannot miss the marvellous scenery of the beach.
The only downside is the public onsen bath was a little small. But in general we loved the stay."
An inn whose evening meal receives 5-star reviews, with only 6 rooms. Mifunetei is an inn serving gourmet meals that stands before the glorious with sand stretches of a beach.
The view of the sun setting over Ise Bay, as seen from the public baths, is simply superb; stay at our inn before a visit to Himakajima Island.
"Really nice location with sea in front of you!
The inland sea is home from outside the prefecture, but this time I dared to stay along the sea.
It is a stay to play at the next peace tree.
The bath and hot springs were wet, but it was summer day, so you may be worried.
At breakfast, a couple with a small baby came and prepared a baby cot in a basket. This seems to have been a consideration for the building and it is too nice service! I immediately recommended it to a couple with a baby.
I will stay again!"
A 3-minute walk to the eastern harbour. The hotel boasts a scenic bath overlooking Mikawa bay and a full-fledged dance hall.
"I stayed on a trip with a friend. There was an election on this day and it was vacant because it was Sunday. The landlady picked me up and I was exhausted. I want to stay again."
With a stay at Hotel Himakaso in Minamichita, you'll be near the beach, just steps from Mikawawan Quasi-National Park and a 1-minute drive from Himakajima Beach. This ryokan is within close proximity of Shinojima Tsuri Tengoku and Hazumisaki Shrine.
Be sure to enjoy recreational amenities including a hot tub and karaoke.
Take advantage of the ryokan's room service (during limited hours). Wrap up your day with a drink at the bar/lounge. Japanese breakfasts are available daily from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM for a fee.
A ferry terminal shuttle is provided at no charge.
Make yourself at home in one of the 20 air-conditioned rooms featuring refrigerators and flat-screen televisions. Private bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers feature complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Conveniences include phones, as well as safes and electric kettles.
"The experience was fantastic, the ingredients were plentiful and delicious, I highly recommend it!"
Spectacular views of Ise Bay, soothing natural hot springs, fresh seafood purchased directly from the local market, as well as the lodging's famous traditional dish, fried shrimp, can be enjoyed at this ryokan specializing in cuisine. null
"It was an inn run by the dining room, but it wasn't as good as I expected for breakfast. But other wonderful inn that can't complain at all."
Recommended puffer fish in winter! Our hotel offers a wide selection of delicious seafood dishes. Free LAN access is available in every room. Bathrobes can be used during your stay. Guests can borrow irons and humidifiers for free (please consult the front desk for details). Facilities include a public bath, an open-air bath and a sauna. The hotel has 10 rooms.
"I used it for 3 days and 2 nights with my pregnant wife. Both morning and evening were provided with great food. The large bath was also good for relieving fatigue. The boss was very kind and thankful for the stay. I was very comfortable ㅛ. I want to visit again next time."

GGuest UserReally love this place it’s in a really narrow street but right in the middle and next to the Westport the amenities are generous great and I’ve never been in a sauna where you can actually see the ocean. They also have a big cold bath and in addition to do Hansen another hot bath next to the sauna they also play really nice music and From analog amplified hi-fi equipment that is top-notch. It’s a real pleasure, even though I’m not geek in that area.
The whole island is of course very small does not much to do and you have to go there if you really want to relax and just enjoy some seafood. There are not many restaurants in the area and I would recommend to just reserve food at the hotel I had to breakfast, which was outstanding. It was Shabu Shabu tako squid, and lots of other Japanese sites.
GGuest UserIt was very beautiful and comfortable. It is also attractive to put it in the hot spring next door! I was happy that I could get a sample of shampoo and conditioner (I don't know if it's an event) for women. It is fully equipped with heating and cooling, but it may be difficult to spend too hot or too cold, so it may be more comfortable to avoid it. The toilet was clean and I enjoyed using the BBQ grill.
