"The room was very clean and the front desk staff were really friendly. I asked for a room facing away from the railway tracks and they happily switched it for me. I booked this hotel for my Kumano Kodo trek. It's small but has everything you need: a bathtub, shower, desk, and carpet. I forgot to take photos, but the room was probably around 8-9 square meters. It's quite small, but the soundproofing was decent. I booked breakfast included, which was pretty simple. I arrived early because I had a train to catch, so I just grabbed a quick bite and headed out. It's located in the countryside, so there aren't many places to explore, and a lot of shops close early. I ended up getting dinner from a convenience store, which was conveniently located right next to the station. P.S. The electric kettle was surprisingly made of plastic!"

"The hotel is in the best location right in front of the river and bus stop. Hotel supplied lots of facilities including free beverages in the evening and dinner including alcoholic drinks. The hot onsen are really nice with mountain views both indoor and outdoor. We really love to stay here with nice buffet bf and dn. We really enjoy and had a good time here and wish to come back again. Hope hotel still can keep their good services and facilities well as we had in the future."

"這個房間是因為之前預訂的旅店在我出發的前一天沒有確認訂單後我唯一的選擇，也成為了我這次熊野古道中邊路全踏破的完美開局。出了車站就碰見來接我的太田先生（60歲），簡單交流後他給我一本要到熊野古道館才能買到的小冊子，並且上面已經把古道外圍最遠的一個章蓋了，今天新手村的任務就是NPC帶我把其他兩個章蓋好，並讓我先嚐試2小時的山道徒步為明天的出發熱身。 太田先生全程熱情解説並沒有收取我額外任何的費用，距離他家步行3分鐘有羅森的便利店，我買了很多補給和晚餐，誰知道我住的房間裏早已被塞滿各種免費暢飲的飲料。房間安排在二樓，有廁所，但洗澡洗衣服要去樓下。房間面積超大，比我在京都的家還要大一點，晚上陽台可以看到完美山谷日落噢！廁所有點年代感但非常的乾淨，廁紙也是超厚香香的！浴室和洗面池配的各種洗漱用品齊全到可以不用打開洗刷包了！ 忙了一下午的太田先生晚餐衹是簡單的泡麪和肉丸，這讓我有點過意不去。晚餐後我們聊了很久，太田先生居然是半個中國通，如果大家有機會入住請多和他交流吧。 雖然這裏看起來離出發點有點距離，但有羅森便利店的加持和太田先生的熱情款待，這裏絕對是熊野古道出發的幸運地！我非常推薦！"

"It is located in the countryside of Tanabe but the transportation is relatively convenient. This hotel is a member of the Secret Hot Spring Guardian Association, and the water quality of the hot spring is very good. The waiters were all local elderly people, and my lovely mother-in-law came to talk to me with a translator during dinner. The food is not luxurious, but it is still quite traditional and authentic Japanese home-cooked food."

"We reached the hotel on foot from Hongu Taisha Shrine via Ohitsuchi, passing by Yumine Hot Spring Street. It takes about half an hour to walk from the hot spring street. I’m not sure how to get there by car. The hotel environment is very good. It’s a completely Japanese-style resort hotel. It’s quiet and far away. The crowd, the service is enthusiastic, and the hygiene is up to standard. (Note that there are no showers in the rooms, you have to go to the large bathroom.) The hot springs are very big and unique. The dinner is also good. I have a good rest. There is a shuttle bus to the palace when I leave. A hot spring hotel in a remote mountain area is definitely inconvenient without a car. I came here for the hot springs and had originally booked Shimogoten, but that hotel couldn't check in after 7 PM, so I had to switch to this one based on the great reviews. Most of the people who came to bathe were elderly Japanese, some almost 100 years old, and their gait was unsteady. Mainland Chinese were rare. 1. The breakfast and dinner were mediocre, with almost nothing to eat. 2. The hotel amenities were mediocre; there wasn't even a comb in the room. 3. Sleeping alone at night was terrifying. Communicating with my companions felt a bit strange, like imagining scenes from a Japanese horror movie. 4. The service was mediocre. I tried to book a room for my companions, but the mountain path was too difficult, so they didn't want to go down the mountain and stay at the other hotel they'd booked. The price we asked Ctrip for was completely different from the price quoted by the front desk. The front desk staff didn't speak English and was very indifferent, completely unable to understand what we were saying. They refused to give us the price we asked for, playing dumb. I'd like to give negative points for this."
