"We booked the deluxe villa with a bathroom because I was particularly drawn to the design of having a small pool in the courtyard. I used it daily, and the privacy felt palpable once I locked the front door. The rooms were well-separated, featuring a cozy living room with a ceiling fan, tables, chairs, and a TV. The bedroom and bathroom were decent-sized and equipped with all the essentials. The daily coffee and bottled water were a pleasant surprise. However, the reception staff were friendly, but the restaurant, bar, and breakfast staff were cold and unfriendly. We only needed to request a room cleaning once, and it was done quickly, but it didn’t feel thorough. Three ladies arrived with cleaning supplies, but they left within 3-5 minutes, changing the towels and water, but not doing much else. We believe you should request a room cleaning, at least that’s what we felt. The breakfast was basic and didn’t get replenished quickly. One morning, we had breakfast and discovered that the milk was spoiled. It had mixed with our coffee and cereal, so we had to leave it. The staff were always cold and unfriendly during breakfast and later at the bar and restaurant. On the positive side, the view from the pool was excellent, and it was peaceful and relaxing to be there. However, I noticed some weeds and smoke around the area, which made me feel a bit sick after inhaling it for a while, even though I’m a non-smoker. Also, there is a nice 711 across the road from the hotel, and it’s in walking distance to get to the haad rin beach"

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. This visit, we got bungalow COCO 8. It's located right next to the road, so you can sometimes hear the noise of passing traffic. The bungalow itself is generally good, but there's one issue: a large gap under the door lets insects into the room. There's a mosquito net above the bed, but it's a bit worn out with holes in places, so there's a chance of getting bitten by mosquitoes... The food is tasty and reasonably varied. There's a nice pool with a pleasant sea view. The pier is also within easy walking distance."

"I chose this hotel for its location: it's equally close to two beaches and the pier with the ferry to Koh Samui is nearby. At first, I had trouble finding it: the building by the road is abandoned, and the hotel entrance is to the left of the building, following the arrows past the fence. The hotel itself is a private wooden house, the second floor of which is used as a hostel with cozy rooms overlooking palm trees and the sea. Some minor gripes include an air conditioner that needs recharging (it doesn't cool well) and protruding screws in the safe drawer (the screws are larger than necessary), one of which pulled a thread out of my $130 Ferre sweater. But all of this can be overlooked thanks to the fantastically beautiful views from the pool at the neighboring resort (accessible from the hostel). The view makes you want to stay here forever, and it's definitely the best view you can get for this price! Amazing!"

"We stayed at Tommy resort for 2 nights. And everything is good: breakfasts, proximity to the sea, swimming pool, but the light from the air conditioner on the whole room at night is not very good at all, that's why I'm taking off a star - we thought to cover it with a band-aid, but we had a sleeping mask with us"

"Moonstone is an absolute delight. The layout of the place is amazing. Cleanliness is impeccable. Very tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The natural scenery and ocean views are serene. A group of playful monkeys visit the area often as well. I did not get a chance to meet the owner but a couple I met there said he was an amazingly nice guy. I've been visiting Koh phangan frequently and just discovered Moonstone. I'm certainly booking this place again. I would recommend anyone to visit Moonstone. You won't regret it. Moonstone is definitely one of the best places I stayed on the island"

"He long sought a reservation. It was not a large room, but 2 rooms with 1st Sanus. The glass is not dark and everything is visible from the street - you have to hang out. From here the meaning of the view on the sea is lost. All the state is gonna see that inside without curtains. In the bathroom water on the floor constantly - you walk with wet feet. Still the womb of departure is not 12 hours but 11 hours. Suddenly - I had to go without breakfast. Ducked into the door, prevented to gather. at 6 a.m. woke up from the macak or something else - knock on the roof. at 9 o'clock the builders started to work. at night the guests were heard from the dining room well. sound isolation minimum."

"1. If you're traveling with a small child, be sure to request a ground-floor room! The stairs are very steep, and the long balcony railings have wide gaps between the vertical bars. I nearly went gray just seeing those stairs with a 1.4-year-old in my arms. 2. Room cleaning is available upon request, and you can get fresh towels at reception. 3. Pleasant music plays throughout the property. 4. At high tide, the hotel's beach disappears, but you can walk through the water to reach the sandy areas. 5. Delicious food with reasonable prices. The menu is diverse, and the pizza is good. 6. Excellent, friendly young staff. 7. The clientele is mostly young people. 8. The outlets are bad; it's impossible to charge a phone with a European plug without a hassle. 9. The rooms aren't very cozy."

"Absolutely loved everything! The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the sea, with a 7-Eleven and a currency exchange right opposite – super convenient. The hotel also has a delicious cafe. The breakfasts were a bit meager, but that was completely overshadowed by the kind, attentive, and helpful staff. The pool is huge and clean, and the grounds are spotless, not a speck of dust anywhere. There's a good gym and a large parking lot. The rooms are immaculate, with everything you could need from slippers and robes to umbrellas – though it's a shame there aren't beach bags. The shampoo and conditioner are great; they really worked wonders on my bleached, dry hair after the salty water and scorching sun. All rooms face the forest, except for those with a terrace. Housekeeping is only by request via WhatsApp. There's a big TV with YouTube and Netflix. It's a brand new, fresh hotel. I highly recommend it; my daughter and I really enjoyed our stay, and the huge bed in the room was a wonderful surprise."

"Stayed with my friends for one night. The location next to the night market is super convenient. We didn't check how far it was to the beach, as that wasn't our focus. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean. Everything looked lovely. We especially loved having direct access from our room to the pool – that was amazing! Big thanks, if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back ❤️ (They even made adorable swans out of towels) 🥹🥹🥹"

"The resort is outdated. The room was clean and spacious, but it wasn’t designed in a way that makes constructive use of the space. There’s very little room to put your luggage, and the lighting was poor. The air conditioning blows directly onto the head of the bed. The beachfront is beautiful, but the bar leaves much to be desired. As for the resort’s policies and staff, I have the following comments: they have fines for almost everything. They provide beach towels at the reception, but you’re only allowed to use them on their beach and must return them “immediately” after you’re done. If you don’t comply—fine! The safe wasn’t working. The room was full of mosquitoes when we arrived. And they would “forget” to give us the two basic bottles of water, even though they had stated we would receive them. Water is very cheap—it’s not about the price, but about the services that are supposed to be provided."
