"We booked the deluxe villa with a bathroom because I was particularly drawn to the design of having a small pool in the courtyard. I used it daily, and the privacy felt palpable once I locked the front door. The rooms were well-separated, featuring a cozy living room with a ceiling fan, tables, chairs, and a TV. The bedroom and bathroom were decent-sized and equipped with all the essentials. The daily coffee and bottled water were a pleasant surprise. However, the reception staff were friendly, but the restaurant, bar, and breakfast staff were cold and unfriendly. We only needed to request a room cleaning once, and it was done quickly, but it didn’t feel thorough. Three ladies arrived with cleaning supplies, but they left within 3-5 minutes, changing the towels and water, but not doing much else. We believe you should request a room cleaning, at least that’s what we felt. The breakfast was basic and didn’t get replenished quickly. One morning, we had breakfast and discovered that the milk was spoiled. It had mixed with our coffee and cereal, so we had to leave it. The staff were always cold and unfriendly during breakfast and later at the bar and restaurant. On the positive side, the view from the pool was excellent, and it was peaceful and relaxing to be there. However, I noticed some weeds and smoke around the area, which made me feel a bit sick after inhaling it for a while, even though I’m a non-smoker. Also, there is a nice 711 across the road from the hotel, and it’s in walking distance to get to the haad rin beach"

"Beautiful hotel, loved being right on the beach. Very chill vibes, restaurant has good food. Can be a little loud from motor bikes & birds. I had ear plugs & no problems sleeping. ( We did stay in Coco 3, which is near the front, I’m sure the ones further back didn’t hear the bikes). Would definitely stay again!"

"Great stay, location is fantastic and extremely close to the beach but still very quiet at night. Kind of hidden away behind a gym so can be difficult to find but doesn’t take away from how nice the stay was. Would definitely recommend."

"We stayed at Tommy resort for 2 nights. And everything is good: breakfasts, proximity to the sea, swimming pool, but the light from the air conditioner on the whole room at night is not very good at all, that's why I'm taking off a star - we thought to cover it with a band-aid, but we had a sleeping mask with us"

"Moonstone is an absolute delight. The layout of the place is amazing. Cleanliness is impeccable. Very tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The natural scenery and ocean views are serene. A group of playful monkeys visit the area often as well. I did not get a chance to meet the owner but a couple I met there said he was an amazingly nice guy. I've been visiting Koh phangan frequently and just discovered Moonstone. I'm certainly booking this place again. I would recommend anyone to visit Moonstone. You won't regret it. Moonstone is definitely one of the best places I stayed on the island"

"He long sought a reservation. It was not a large room, but 2 rooms with 1st Sanus. The glass is not dark and everything is visible from the street - you have to hang out. From here the meaning of the view on the sea is lost. All the state is gonna see that inside without curtains. In the bathroom water on the floor constantly - you walk with wet feet. Still the womb of departure is not 12 hours but 11 hours. Suddenly - I had to go without breakfast. Ducked into the door, prevented to gather. at 6 a.m. woke up from the macak or something else - knock on the roof. at 9 o'clock the builders started to work. at night the guests were heard from the dining room well. sound isolation minimum."

"We were there outside of the Full Moon Party and it was very pleasant. The room was clean and had a small balcony right outside the door. The pool was also clean, and they played chill music all day long. Restaurant prices were perfectly fine, especially considering the restaurant is right by the sea. There were plenty of spots to lie down and sit. Beautiful sunsets! They had a billiards and beer pong table available for a small fee. Scooter rental and taxi service were available at reception. Unfortunately, there was no safe. The massage place on the way to the street is also highly recommended! We would book again."

"I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The location is excellent, and the staff are super friendly 👍. The sea is just a stone's throw away, and there are shops right across the street. The hotel is new and clean, and they play relaxing music by the pool until 10 PM. We will definitely be back again 🫶"

"Is a small resort hide just offside of the road. To enter wirh your car need careful driving as it is narrow and rough. Only few parking lot and should be enough afterall not too many drive a car in the island. Check in/out is easy. Speak good enough. Room at first glance is lovely but the first night is a nightmare since a lot of mosquitoes inbthe room and I need to but a mosquito coil to kill them and also the smoke killed us too. Aftet that, it is fine and evan though sometimes we may be bitten agian by the strong mosquitoes. No breakfast but you can use their utensils such as kettle, hot plate, microwave to cook. 30Thb to wash and a drying rack is located at the back of the room with sufficient hanger to hang and dry your clothes. A small swimming pool but I would dare to try. Walking distance to the night market/food stall."

"The resort is outdated. The room was clean and spacious, but it wasn’t designed in a way that makes constructive use of the space. There’s very little room to put your luggage, and the lighting was poor. The air conditioning blows directly onto the head of the bed. The beachfront is beautiful, but the bar leaves much to be desired. As for the resort’s policies and staff, I have the following comments: they have fines for almost everything. They provide beach towels at the reception, but you’re only allowed to use them on their beach and must return them “immediately” after you’re done. If you don’t comply—fine! The safe wasn’t working. The room was full of mosquitoes when we arrived. And they would “forget” to give us the two basic bottles of water, even though they had stated we would receive them. Water is very cheap—it’s not about the price, but about the services that are supposed to be provided."
