This is a beautiful downstairs apartment, with all of the amenities of home. The apartment is accessed either by the front door on the porch, or by the back door which is open to a large, grassy lot.Inside, we have a very functional kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, crock pot, blender, and Keurig coffee maker. Basic kitchen tools are provided.The apartment sleeps 6 adults, though we'd be happy to host more if at least two are children. Each bedroom has a comfortable 12" queen sized memory foam mattress, and there is an additional folding floor mattress. There is also a sound/white noise machine for anyone who needs it :)The living room is comfortable, with a smart TV and wifi available. Plenty of parking in the circular driveway, w/access to the kitchen, living room, dining room, grill, laundry.Bedroom suite contains Queen bed, Dresser, TV, Mirror, lamp & walk in closet. There is another queen bed, a couch and a love seat in the rec room for an extra couple guests and if you have an air mattress, there is plenty of floor space for all your friends!The spaceThe house itself is out in the country, a few miles south of the Village. You can almost see the neighbors houses, depending on how many leaves are in the trees!Private basement bedroom with a private bathroom. Queen size natural latex mattress new Jan2021.The entire basement is about 1700sf with a wet bar, projector for DVD’s and a fairly well stocked kitchenette ( no stove in the basement, but you can use the kitchen upstairs if you want).Guest accessEven though I reside here on the ground floor, you will have access to whatever you need. There's a wet bar in the basement with a fridge and microwave, but you are welcome to use the kitchen upstairs. I have all the standard kitchen equipment, almost anything you could ask for. Relax and watch a DVD on the 12 foot Projector downstairs or use the 50" TV in your bedroom for Dish Network. Free Laundry is upstairs. Gas grill on the back patio on standby for whoever wants to use them, and can be warmed up within a few minutes.Internet access available, speeds depend on the weather, though!I have 3 dogs, which I will keep separate from you. I have a fenced in back yard to keep them separate from your pets and there are baby gates in the house. With that in mind, your pets are always welcome, provided you clean up after any unexpected accidents!Other things to note.Your pets are welcome, as long as you can clean up after them, in case they get so excited that they have a little accident!I have a few pets myself, but they are all pretty friendly. Storm is a 8yo 20# blind Jack Russell/pit mix, who barks at everyone including me, but warms up to you pretty quickly. I recently adopted twin boy Corgi/Rottie mixes 18mo old Thor and Loki, saved them from a shelter. 4yo Mr. Cutie is my tiger stripe cat, and he doesn’t really care about me, so he probably won't even socialize with you, if you even see him! Don't be offended!Two goldfish-Mustache and Nemo- don’t worry about them…they stay in their tank most of the time. Grey Wolf is a cozy updated vintage family style cottage on Big Wolf Lake in a quiet neighborhood. The waterfront is great for swimming, boating, and fishing. Wolf Lake is mostly used by anglers and rafters making their slow way around with only a few jet ski's. Use our dock, a boat launch is nearby. Interested to rent a pontoon? Contact NEW Butterfields Marina 517-474-0774! At the end of the dock, water depth is about 6 ft and 1 ft at its foot. Bring the water toys and fishing poles! The shoreline has a rock seawall, so use the dock ladder to enter the lake for swimming. 3 Kayaks are available for a small rental fee. Relax in our adirondacks, reach in a beverage cooler at your side and listen to the sounds of summer at the lake. Slow way down for a lakeside sunset, build a fire in the fire pit. Memories are yours to create with a marshmallow roast and a ghost story or 2. Whether you are here for some lake life, the Hot Air Jubilee, horse riding or hiking at Waterloo State Park, in town for a U of M (or MSU) football game or event at MIS, you are close. Grey Wolf has fast Wi-Fi and everything you need to enjoy your stay. *Lake dock is put out mid-May before Memorial Day weekend and taken up mid-September after labor day.
