I had a wonderful stay at APEC Mandala Hotel. The facilities were excellent, the room was beautiful, and every aspect of the hotel exceeded my expectations. However, what truly made this stay unforgettable was my butler, Dương.
I arrived at the hotel feeling very unwell, and from the moment I checked in, Dương went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. He anticipated my needs before I even had to ask and genuinely cared about how I was feeling. His kindness, warmth, and attentiveness were unlike anything I’ve experienced at a hotel before.
Not only was he incredibly professional, but he was also so friendly and funny. We were constantly laughing together, and he made me feel completely at ease despite travelling alone in a country where I didn’t speak the language. He never made me feel isolated. instead, he made me feel looked after like family.
When I needed to withdraw cash, Dương personally took me to the ATM. Then, when I realised I’d need more than I’d originally withdrawn, he happily came back with me without hesitation. It was such a simple gesture, but it perfectly summed up his willingness to help with absolutely anything.
The moment that really showed how exceptional he is was when he messaged to ask if I needed anything. I had fallen asleep and didn’t reply. Rather than assuming everything was fine, he actually came to my room to check on me because he was genuinely worried about my wellbeing. That level of care is incredibly rare and meant so much, especially when I wasn’t feeling my best.
Dương didn’t just provide excellent service, he showed genuine compassion. His kindness, patience, and generosity transformed what could have been a difficult trip into one I’ll always remember for the right reasons. He is a true credit to APEC Mandala Hotel, and I sincerely hope the management recognises what an extraordinary employee they have. Thank you, Dương, for taking such wonderful care of me. You didn’t just make my stay better
you made it unforgettable.

My stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. The staff were very friendly and handled everything smoothly from check-in to check-out. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were well-stocked. The location was convenient, making it easy to access tourist spots and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Privacy: Very poor. The glass front means anyone walking by can see inside. You have to close the curtains all day, which ruins the view.
Amenities: The hotel lacks activities. It needs things like outdoor movies or social events to give guests a reason to stay.
Dining: Disappointing. Food quality is low, and the service is unprofessional—they served my main dishes before the starter.
Beach: Extremely dirty and full of trash. Unacceptable for a beach resort.
If you just want photos or content video for social media, it’s fine. But for a real retreat, it’s not worth the price. 3-star quality at best. I won’t be returning. Useful feedback for the owner to improve.

New hotel. More precisely not a hotel, but aparthotel. Apartment is new. Everything is clean, comfortable. I recorded a big rum tour, but it won't fit here. In terms of rest in privacy, this is a beautiful place on the first line. I went out in the sea from the morning and lay at the pool all day. There is a spa. But I wasn't there. At all three swimming pools are on the territory of the complex.
This is where all the entertainment ends. The building is 17 km from Muine. And if you don't have a bike, there's no chance you have a morning coffee in a sea view cafe. And there will be no. If you certainly don't ride to Muine every morning by taxi.
In general this is a place for privacy. After 10 p.m. here at all silence and darkness. There is some coffee shop on expensive, but I saw it only from a distance and it is not quite clear what to do there. Since around the desert ...y yes the most that there is no desert. For privacy is ideal.

Booked a room for 4 people and felt that the owner was very enthusiastic and friendly. We arrived at 3am and were still enthusiastically supported by him. The room was very bright, airy and clean. Many swimming pools are very suitable for weekend relaxation.

We stayed from 10.03 to 13.03.2025. A few days before arrival, the hotel administration wrote to us and we were able to get answers to all our questions. We were checked into the room earlier, at 12 o'clock. The room was on the 23rd floor with a swimming pool, which was cleaned and filled in front of us and the pool was filled for about 4 hours, officially check-in to the room is after 14:00, and the pool was completely filled only by 16:00, I would like to use all the amenities after check-in at 14:00. They took one passport as a deposit, which really bothered me. The room is for 4, but there were two cups and two glasses that stood by the sink in the shower, they did not bring additional ones upon request and offered to use the glasses from the shower. Breakfasts were paid for, but this was the first time we encountered such a concept - we were given food coupons - one dish from the menu per person per day in four restaurants to choose from, of which only two restaurants were open and there was only one menu for coupons - these are only three dishes worth 80,000 dongs each, drinks are not included in the meal, you can use the coupon at any time from 6 am to 8 pm. Therefore, there is no point in paying for food in this hotel. There is a choice of cafes and restaurants, yes, the price is higher than in the village of Muine, but not higher than in restaurants in other hotels. The room was good, all the amenities were there and a mini kitchen with an electric stove with one burner, a microwave oven and even a multicooker, a kettle. Water, tea, coffee were replenished every day. Cleaning in the room is superficial. On March 11th there was no light at 7 am and until 6 pm, no one warned in advance, even wifi did not work in the room. There was no compensation, in the evening one drink per person as a compliment. I was surprised by the working hours of the fitness center - from 9 am to 5 pm, the same schedule for the children's room, a children's room with a labyrinth, slides and balls, a good center, but paid, 1 hour 50,000 dongs per child without a parent, billiards and board games are paid. Carefully when booking a room, what is included in the price. We had the fitness center, swimming pools and children's water pool included. When visiting, they ask for a guest card and check the possibility of use. Beach towels are paid, we did not take them, we had our own. The pools are very beautiful, clean, at the pool bar, prices for cocktails start from 139,000 dongs. You can get to the beach by electric car, if included in the stay, or by elevator, but it does not always work. The distance from the buildings to the beach is decent. The beach itself is poorly maintained, there are no mattresses on the wooden sun loungers, the toilet is dirty. The picture before my eyes is not very good. Overall, the hotel is interesting, but boring, there is nothing nearby.

I rented a suite. Not everything was cleaned after the previous tenants. By the way, whoever wrote about the lack of hot water... There's a switch for the water heater at the entrance to the bathroom. Turn it on and there's water. The hotel is new, but already used. The glass on the balcony and in general is dirty. You can't turn on the lighting in the pool. Even the glass in the shower stall is poorly cleaned. Everything else is decent. There's a night market down on the beach where they sell and cook seafood in front of you, and the prices aren't exorbitant. They have shrimp, fish, snails, and scallops. There's also delicious octopus with some greens. If you're tired of people and want complete relaxation, this is the place. We couldn't swim in the sea because of the wind and waves. The hotel is actually on a mountain, and there's almost constant wind. The suite has glass on the balcony, so there's no wind. And a suite for this price is a gift.

Before I start. Let’s be clear, Apec Mandala Mui Ne is the main one that owns the buildings. However a bunch of “Condotels” use the Mandala name so “Mandala Breeze” is one of them.
The communication is spot on before the trip. If you use Zalo they message you there and tell you the things you need to know. Also throughout the trip, extremely responsive to any questions I had.
CHECK-IN
Messaged when arrived and a girl came with the key cards (not the typical check-in style). She showed us to the room and took pictures of our passports. Also, they needed to keep one of the passports for some reason. But got it back at the end.
FOOD:
The Mandala Bay restaurant was for sure the main one for decent food! There are “lower level” kinds of restaurants around that offer very affordable and yummy food. (Bay Restaurant would be about 1-1.5M VND per meal on average for family of 3-4. Whereas the other more affordable places cost about 500k VND totally).
AMENITIES:
Swimming pools to the max. Very nicely kept pools and a nice kids playing mini water park was great. All pools have kids pools connected so it’s very family oriented.
Didn’t get to check the gym out but looks good.
The beach is easily accessible via exiting the hotel and asking the guard to send the golf cart to take you down.
Beach is standard and nothing very special. Quite a lot of rubbish around and many crabs (which of course don’t need to worry about as they go down into their holes with any kind of movement from us.)
Beach water is a little clear and at this time of the year (May) the water is warm!
*Notable* - people were getting stung by what possibly are jelly fish. So, you just get lucky with that kind of thing.
KIDS ACTIVITIES:
They have a great kids play club. It costs extra and isn’t included in the hotel cost but it’s worth it. Unfortunately quite hot in there though!
Kids also have the water park for themselves and the water slide (although the slide might rip your swimsuit a little!)
*Notable* - Swimming Pools. If you are staying via one of the condotels then make sure the if your room includes the swimming pools, take the main key card pocket as you won’t be able to get towels to use or even use the pool as that is the part of the actual date you will check-out. The cards themselves have old dates and the lifeguards get confused and say you can’t use the pools so make sure you take the one that has the actual check-out date on it.
CHECK-OUT:
Simply message 30 minutes before the time and it will be ok. Very simple.
All in all it was a great time. A couple of miscommunication issues but that’s to be expected. No real need to go out of the complex as they have everything there.
