"Our experience was absolutely fantastic; this is the best place I've stayed in Guizhou, and this is my second visit! The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming. They upgraded my child and me to a suite for free (we had booked a mountain-view bathtub room) and even extended our check-out time. To get to Huangguoshu Scenic Area, all we had to do was book a few minutes in advance at the front desk, and a car (a seven-seater business van) arrived very quickly. The interior of the car was spotless, and the driver was very thoughtful; he even asked us to message him on WeChat when we were on our way back to the hotel, and he arrived in just a few minutes (the hotel is within a ten-minute drive from the scenic area). Initially, I thought we'd have to meet him at a designated stop, but he said he could pick us up at any exit, so we were able to hop in as soon as we left the scenic area. All in all, this was a wonderful experience. A big thank you to the hotel and its staff! 🥰"

"This hotel truly lives up to its 4-star standard, even offering a complimentary shuttle service to take you to restaurants or the scenic area entrance. They've also built their own private garage with direct elevator access, which is super convenient. The room was spotless, the bathroom felt very clean, and there was even a small balcony. Plus, free breakfast was included. My only regret is that I drove 550 kilometers just to stay one night and then had to rush back to Chongqing the next day, so I didn't get to explore the scenic area at all. I'll be driving back again in a couple of days, and I'll definitely be staying here again."

"Guolv Hotel Transfer: The owner has a dedicated 7-seater car for transfers, with a license plate that has many '9's. Just call anytime, and they'll pick you up or drop you off – super convenient. The hotel also has a parking lot, and to my surprise, even an underground one, which was great for us driving there. We parked the car at the hotel, visited the sights, and then drove off when we were ready – no issues at all. The room is fully smart-controlled. Curtains, TV, and lights can all be controlled by voice. The only downside is that there's no smart toilet. The hotel has an elevator, which made handling luggage easy. The local weather is said to be 21 degrees Celsius all year round, but it was a bit chilly at night during our visit. I asked the front desk for a heater, and it worked quite well. The service from the staff was really good!"

"The whole homestay is very clean. Even the sofa pillows in the hall smell fresh of detergent. Not to mention the room, there is no odor in the house, and the sink is clean and has no water stains. The facilities in the room are also complete. There are washing machines and dryers on the first floor, which is very convenient. We drove to the homestay and parked on the roadside at the door. The homestay also has an underground parking lot. The breakfast variety is rich, the minced meat rice noodles are very delicious😋, the restaurant is also clean, and the aunt is very enthusiastic. "The front desk staff member was very warm and attentive. Since it was the off-season and there were available rooms, they kindly offered a free room upgrade and even added an extra breakfast to our original booking. The underground parking had plenty of spaces. The hotel is conveniently located just over two kilometers by car from the scenic area's visitor center parking lot. If you don't have a car, the hotel also provides a free shuttle service to the scenic area. During my stay, they could drop guests off anytime after 7:30 AM; for other seasons, you can inquire at the front desk about specific times. The room was spacious, and when we needed extra amenities, the housekeeping staff delivered them promptly and with great enthusiasm and patience. The hotel has a restaurant, and for a hotel near a scenic spot, the prices were reasonable, and the food was good too."

"The owner provided excellent service! 👍 They were very helpful and enthusiastic. The hotel is close to two tourist centers, and the owner even drove us there; it only took two minutes. The homemade food the owner cooked was really nice, though I forgot to take pictures! 😂 The decor is great, I really liked it, and I highly recommend this place. Oh, and the hotel is very close to two night markets near Huangguoshu Waterfall. One is just a two-minute walk from the door, and the other is a bit further, about a five or six-minute walk. We went to the one that was a five or six-minute walk away because the owner said there were more choices there, and they even recommended a delicious BBQ place to us. Highly recommended!"

"This is a fantastic hotel, so beautifully designed. I was blown away by the room - very big, with a very comfortable soft bed, big bath tub, a path with stepping stones to the sink area then smart shower that played wonderful French music in the morning. The view was of greenery. The hotel owners were very helpful and friendly and took me to and from the waterfalls and my shuttle bus and ensured my transport yo and from the hotel ran smoothly. The breakfast was very good. It is a few minutes drive from the falls. There are restaurants in the area for food. There is a main road near by so the hotel provides earplugs but anyway the traffic stops at night so you don't hear it. A wonderful place to stay when visiting the falls."

AAlly_0107Absolutely thrilled with the room! It's tastefully decorated with a lovely, fresh cream-colored aesthetic. The owner went above and beyond, tirelessly driving us to the scenic spot entrance and patiently answering all our questions, even the ones she's probably heard a thousand times. We chose a room with bunk beds, and the kids were ecstatic – both the top and bottom bunks were surprisingly spacious. Having a separate room for the grandparents meant the kids' exuberance didn't disturb their rest. The smart home features throughout were fantastic; it was a great way for the kids to see technology in action in everyday life. I was particularly impressed with the shower – excellent water pressure and easy temperature control. Plus, the bathroom was spotless with no unpleasant odors, which is a huge plus. The kids also had a blast setting off fireworks in the plaza. Although the Huangguoshu Waterfall wasn't as majestic at this time of year as it is in summer, it was still breathtaking and a joy to see, especially since we got to enjoy it without the crowds!
