"Had a wonderful stay at M Roof Hotel Ipoh! From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel’s location is convenient, with plenty of great food nearby and easy access to the city’s attractions. "The owner required us to put in deposit of RM100. We manage to get to put our lugage in the unit before we get to check in. The door lock seem to have issues when we check in the door nob like spoil. The host does not provide additional key access unlike other unit we stayed before. And it is so inconvenient for us with family. Imagine if we only have 1 access card and if our family member went to swimming pool take the card we can't goes down to our carpark and we can't even goes to swimming pool,which mean we are stuck. Host just simply tell us to settle this problem ourself. When we get out the door was unable close and we have to force close it and ended up we can't open the door. Host end up getting locksmith to come open the door we were not able get in our unit for 5 hours. Luckily my kids have extra clothes to change after playing the pool. I can't imagine if my children were to stuck inside the unit can't get out. I hope the host will take a look seriously on the maintenance of the home especially the lock."

"This was my first time staying at Ipoh AC Hotel, and I had a pretty good experience. They even gave me a small cake for my birthday, which was a nice touch. The only drawback was that there was dust in various corners of the room, so I hope the cleaning staff can improve their cleaning. Overall, it was a good stay! 👍"

"Good and strategically located 5-star hotel in the heart of Ipoh. Granted that it is a bit old but room and hotel were clean and staffs were nice and helpful. Very near to many nice dimsum restaurants (photos below)."

"Recommend if you are looking for a short trip, location is convenient, can go many places for food hunting. Best part is free complimentary tickets for Lost world Hot Spring and Night Park. We enjoyed ourselves with the petting zoo, hot springs and fire shows. The animals inside are very cute… Room is clean and staffs are friendly there. Feel warm as insect repellent lotion is provided. 👍"

"The room itself was new, but the building is still under renovation, so there was a strong smell of paint and cement. The room cleanliness was decent, though the bedsheets had a noticeable stain that looked permanent, so I didn't bother asking for a change. There's no hotel service to speak of, just an auntie at the lobby who speaks English and Malay. It felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel. There's free parking available in the hotel's underground garage. We didn't try the hotel breakfast as there are plenty of restaurants nearby."

"The hotel was good and the breakfast was decent as well. We stayed at level 8, which we were told is one of the newly renovated floors, along with Level 7. However, the room service team did not respond to our request. We left a note on the table requesting room slippers before heading to work in the morning, but the request was not attended to. Nevertheless, the hotel receptionist was very responsive and promptly arranged for the room slippers to be delivered after we contacted them."

"The location of the property is excellent, and the building is well maintained. The unit is equipped with most essential amenities, including a refrigerator, washing machine, water heater, iron, and basic kitchen utensils. However, several advertised facilities were not functional during our stay, including the kitchen stove, chimney hood, living room ceiling fan, and TV. The check-in process could be clearer. I had to contact the property a day in advance to obtain the check-in instructions and pay a RM200 security deposit. The deposit was refunded a few hours after checkout without any issues. The biggest downside of this property is the ongoing construction directly in front of the building. There was constant noise from drilling and blasting, and the area was very dusty. Construction work even continued into the night, making it difficult to relax and causing me a headache. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, it’s worth checking whether the construction has been completed before booking."

"We really had a good time staying at the residence and the unit was very clean and equipped with all the ammenities and the check process very quite easy and not complicated at all..thanks to the property owner and the staff there, they guided us very well..as i've chatted with the property owner earlier he did sent all the brochures for check in process and the unit details , he was quite friendly aand very helpful throughout our staying period...really we're looking forward to stay again..last but not least the view from the balcony and room was very nice ..it definitely a worth and pleasant stay 🤩❤️🙏"
