"No luggage deposit. It is a nightmare if you arrive early and have luggage in tow. They will also not let you in the lobby to at least let you sit down. Cheaper hotels and inns are much better at accommodating these to guests so im quite disappointed for a hotel at this price. Definitely not worth the money. The customer service in charge of replying whatsapp is bad. No human touch and respond like an AI. The whatsapp AI or agent also didn't allow early checkin for reasons that they need to clean the room which I understand. However, the room seems like it wasn't occupied prior or was just cleaned so they are not being truthful. The housekeeping is very very kind though and the place was kept clean and was spotless when we arrive."

"The exotic twin sharing room is big & decent enough for the us, and also it's very clean. No swimming pool, but who needs a pool when there is a theme park just minutes away from the hotel. We had our breakfasts at the cafe located at theme park's entrance. The service by the staff hotel were wonderful too. My only hope is that they should open up a cafe or two at the hotel catering for the hotel guests. Other than that , would love to come back soon !"

"Both the rooms and common areas are clean. There's a washer and dryer on the 2nd floor, and kettles are available in the common areas on the 1st and G floors, so you can bring them back to your room to boil water. Getting a taxi right outside is easy and the location is accurate. There are also plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby. I've been indulging in durians for a few days in Ipoh, and I'm very satisfied!"

"It was our favorite destination hotel. Our third visit and longest stay this time. But unfortunately, no more hot Onsen water....😭 Facility is good. The view is amazing. But what made us return to this place was because of Onsen. Onsen water should be hot. It was just like a heated pool this time. I don't know whatever the reason is. If they can't keep Onsen hot, that's not Onsen anymore. It's so disappointing 😞 残念😭"

"ONE ⭐ - WORST EXPERIENCE - TERRIBLE & UNACCEPTABLE Checked in Hotel Excelsior on 1 June 2026. I paid RM50 deposit using my debit card and the amount was deducted INSTANTLY from my account , they received and held my money. But when I checked out and asked for my deposit, they shocked me by saying I have to WAIT FULL 14 DAYS just to get my own money returned 😡😡😡😡😡😡 The 2 staff whom I communicated with earlier were COMPLETELY USELESS, ZERO HELP and UNCOOPERATIVE from start to finish. They didn’t try to understand my situation, ignored my requests, gave cold answers and refused to take any action to solve the problem at all, their attitude was extremely bad and unprofessional. They clearly told me this is the rule set by management, Victorious. NO CASH REFUND will be given at checkout, This is unfair and ridiculous practice. They grab my money instantly, yet they informed me to wait for 14 days to get back deposit what belongs to me. EXTREMELY BAD policy, EXTREMELY BAD service & EXTREMELY BAD attitude. DISAPPOINTING. ⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT trust what they say verbally."
