I stayed here for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and well-equipped, and the location was super convenient for getting around. The host was quick to respond, and the check-in process was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

I’ve been to Hanoi a few times and hotel service here is generally good, but Solaria truly stood out for us from the moment we stepped in, all the way to when we left and were warmly sent off by the porter. The level of service was impeccable. The hotel itself was excellent, cleanliness, welcome drinks, snacks, and overall comfort were all on point. Everything felt thoughtful and well taken care of. A special shoutout to two wonderful staff members who made our stay even more memorable: 1. Daria: During breakfast, we asked about the special chili salt powder served with fruits (it was amazingly tasty!). Daria not only explained where we could get it from a local mart, but also thoughtfully packed some in a container for us to bring home. Funny enough, we loved it so much that we bought fresh mango that same night and finished everything immediately! 2. Lily (Reception): We would like to give our heartfelt compliments to her, who assisted us from our first day to the last. She brought us on a room tour, polite, friendly, and answered all our typical tourist questions with ease. As we had requested a high floor, we were assigned one of the highest floors in the hotel. Lily thoughtfully informed us that the restaurant is located right above and operates until 10pm, so there might be slight noise until then. She checked if we were light sleepers and offered us the option to change to a lower floor for the remaining nights if it became an issue. The next morning at breakfast, she personally checked in with us again regarding the room, and it turned out to be perfectly fine for us, we didn’t notice much noise as we were still awake around that time. Since this was our anniversary trip (which I had indicated in the hotel remarks), our room was beautifully decorated with towel-shaped swans and rose petals, a really lovely touch. The next morning at breakfast, after our meal, Lily came by and presented us with a specially made coconut pandan pudding dessert. She shared that it was prepared for us today as we seemed a little tired from traveling the day before. During breakfast as well, Lily brought up about our request with housekeeping team for a firm pillow from the night before. Although we were initially told only one type was available, she took the initiative to explain and said she would try to source one for us. That very night, I received a firm pillow, truly thoughtful service. Lily also helped us plan our travel time to the airport, offered to assist with booking the hotel spa via her personal contact, and gave fantastic local food recommendations like cháo sườn with quẩy and rượu (sadly the shop was closed when we arrived, but it’s definitely on my list for my next trip to Hanoi). What really stood out is how Lily picks up on small cues and chooses the right moment to communicate, making everything feel very natural and personalized rather than forced. There was even more she helped us with along the way, always attentive and proactive, which really made a difference to our stay. To top it all off, during checkout, we were gifted local souvenirs, Trung Nguyen coffee drip filter and coffee powder, which was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. Overall, an outstanding stay. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return on our next trip to Hanoi 🩷

My recent two-day stay at Hanoi Le Chateau Hotel & Spa was nothing short of exceptional. Excellent hosts, friendly staff, fantastic location in the heart of old quarter, easy walking distance to weekend market, beer street, train street plus the famous lake. The hotel is quite and the rooms are spacious and has a modern design. Most of the Michelin Guided eateries are nearby. Special thanks to Stella and Jasmine for making my stay extra enjoyable, between them they help with restaurant recommendations and assist with bookings and giving directions. The onsen spa in the open sky was an absolute luxury, private with the sweeping view across hanoi. Happy to return and stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended 👌

This hotel is tucked away in an alley near Hoan Kiem Lake. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a lovely fragrance. Its location, a bit removed from the busiest areas, ensures a great night's sleep. With a spa and a sky bar, it offers a really comprehensive experience. The breakfast is fresh and has a wide variety of options. But the best part, hands down, is how incredibly nice the staff are. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

We had a very solid and comfortable stay at the San Premium Hotel, which is perfectly situated right in the heart of the Old Quarter. The location is incredibly convenient, with everything you could possibly need located just a short walk away. The absolute highlight of our experience, however, was the impeccable service. The staff is extraordinarily courteous, welcoming, and proactive. Their English proficiency is excellent, which made communication seamless. When I approached them with several non-standard requests, they handled them with high-level professionalism and genuine politeness, and they were always quick to assist with our luggage. The accommodation itself was highly satisfying. We stayed in a spacious room that featured a wonderfully large terrace. The bathroom was well-appointed and in great condition. Most importantly, the level of cleanliness throughout the room was flawless. The bed and pillows provided a very comfortable night's sleep, and I specifically appreciated the use of proper fitted sheets - a crucial detail for comfort that many hotels surprisingly overlook. It is exactly this kind of attention to basic hospitality standards that makes a property reliable. The only notable area for improvement is the breakfast. The morning buffet was quite monotonous and the food lacked flavor, so I cannot say I was impressed by it. However, if you are only staying for a couple of days, it is completely tolerable, especially considering the abundance of excellent dining options right outside the hotel doors. Overall, the exceptional staff, meticulous room cleanliness, and prime location easily make up for the mediocre breakfast. This is a highly reliable hotel that delivers on the most important aspects of hospitality.

OMG, i feel like this hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed so far. I need to shout out to especially the staff, omg, they are so friendly and the best. They can speak proper English and very helpful. They are just one text or call away whenever you need help. My family and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights at the family room. The room is a bit smaller than I expected but it is very clean and has all the necessary things for your trip. The brekfast is nice as well. I am personally grateful to Jimmy, Tam and John for all the help. When I come back to Hanoi, this is gonna be the place I will be staying again.

What I Loved: 🛏️ The Rooms Are Actually Spacious Most Hanoi hotels in the Old Quarter feel like glorified closets. Here? My room was around 30m² with a legit balcony, city views, and — crucially — soundproofing that actually works. After a full day of motorbike dodging and street food hunting, coming back to a quiet room with a comfy bed and proper air-con felt like a luxury I didn't know I needed. 💆 The Spa & Sauna Are Non-Negotiable Here's my hot take: book a massage for your first evening. You've probably just flown in, your legs are jelly from the plane, and your body clock is screaming. The in-house spa and sauna will reset you. I did a steam session followed by a massage and woke up the next day actually feeling human. Way better value than standalone spas in the tourist zone. 🍳 Breakfast That Doesn't Suck: Free breakfast buffet with a mix of Western and Vietnamese options. The hotel is about 20 mins by bus to the Old Quarter/Hoàn Kiếm Lake area, but a Grab bike is cheap, fast, and honestly part of the Hanoi experience. 2. Airport Transfer: The hotel offers paid airport shuttle, but if you're arriving during off-peak hours, a Grab from Noi Bai Airport is around $10-15 and door-to-door. During rush hour? Take the hotel shuttle or book in advance. 3. The Gym is Small But Mighty: Don't expect a full fitness center, but it's got the basics. I used it at 6 AM before the heat hit, and had it to myself. Perfect for working off all that bún chả. 4. Explore Cầu Giấy: Everyone rushes to the Old Quarter, but the neighborhood around the hotel has legit local eats. Walk 5 minutes and you'll find street stalls where nobody speaks English and the food is chef's kiss. 5. Soundproofing is Real: If you're a light sleeper, request a higher floor room away from the street. The hotel does a great job with noise, but Hanoi is Hanoi — higher is quieter. The Honest Truth: Is it perfect? No. It's not in the postcard-perfect Old Quarter, and if you want to stumble out of your hotel straight into night markets, this isn't that. But if you want space, quiet, a legit spa, and way better value for money — plus easy access to everything via cheap rides — this is your spot. The staff were warm, the rooms were clean and modern, and after three days of exploring temples, lakes, coffee shops, and hidden alleys, I genuinely looked forward to coming ”home” here. Would I stay again? In a heartbeat. Especially if I'm staying more than a night or two and want to actually rest between adventures. Safe travels and eat all the bánh cuốn! 🍜

The hotel's location is good and was quite easy to find. It's close to many attractions. There's an elevator, so you won't have to lug your suitcases up the stairs. The hotel is small, with about 3 rooms per floor. At least one English-speaking staff member is available at the front desk, so everything can be explained. They are very friendly, polite, and professional. The free buffet breakfast has a rather limited variety and isn't refilled by the chefs if it runs out, so it's best to go right at the beginning while everything is still available. The coffee and tea are lukewarm and run out quickly. The room was clean and spacious enough. There's a free daily cleaning service. If you hang the 'do not disturb' sign on your door, they won't clean your room. Before check-in, we signed an agreement acknowledging our responsibility and obligation to compensate for any damages. After check-out, we were asked to wait 5 minutes while a staff member went to check the room's condition, and only then were we allowed to leave. The bed was huge and soft. The shower had somewhat weak water pressure and required some adjustment. There was no window in the room, however, one of the walls was made of glass and overlooked the hotel's reception hall. This made the room incredibly noisy starting from 5 AM, as all conversations at the reception desk could be heard. It was simply impossible to sleep.
