"Attending a business meeting in Kunshan, I chose the Golden Eagle Shangmei Hotel, and my experience far exceeded expectations – it definitely deserves a full five-star review! The hotel is proudly located in the heart of Kunshan's city center CBD, seamlessly integrated with the Golden Eagle International Shopping Center, making it Kunshan's most influential landmark commercial complex. It's only about a ten-minute taxi ride from Kunshan South Station, so transportation is incredibly convenient. The hotel lobby is situated on the 29th-floor sky lobby, and the high-altitude view was breathtaking from the moment I stepped in. Daisy Wu handled my check-in with exceptional efficiency, displaying warmth, professionalism, and a very gentle and attentive demeanor. I stayed in a Premium City View King Room, which starts from 47 square meters – the spaciousness was a delightful surprise. The massive floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic views of the entire Kunshan city skyline; the view was expansive during the day and shimmering with neon lights at night. After a long day of work, a quick glance out the window instantly melted away my fatigue. The room design was stylish and minimalist, equipped with high-speed internet and a comfortable workspace. The bedding was soft and provided excellent support, ensuring a very high quality of sleep. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation, dual vanity sinks, and a bathtub, with complete and high-quality facilities. The Sky Western Restaurant on the 29th floor was another highlight; the breakfast selection was rich, combining both Chinese and Western options, along with freshly cooked local specialties like Suzhou Aozhao noodles and small wontons. For business needs, the hotel boasts a nearly 1,000-square-meter pillar-less grand ballroom with an 8-meter high ceiling, along with 8 multi-functional meeting rooms, all equipped with advanced facilities. Whether it's for a business trip or client entertainment, this is the most reliable and hassle-free choice in Kunshan. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip to Kunshan!"

"This newly opened Marriott Sheraton boasts rooms all facing Dianshan Lake. It's about an hour's drive from the city, and there are plenty of attractions nearby like Grand View Garden, Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, and Rainbow Bridge. Our room was on the 8th floor, offering fantastic sunset views from a high vantage point. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, accessible directly from the underground parking, which also has charging stations. The lady who checked us in, Yoyo❤️, was incredibly gentle and thoughtful. She proactively asked if I was a Marriott member to link my details and even shared tips on local attractions for easy walking tours.😊 Although I wasn't traveling with family, I'd highly recommend it to those who are. The indoor kids' club is sufficiently sized, featuring a slide, ball pit, and picture books. There's also an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor lawn playground (though it's been a bit sunny lately). It's a great spot to let loose and enjoy the fresh air at sunset. The hotel's dining options are also commendable. The Feast All-Day Dining restaurant offers a breakfast buffet with local specialties like Kunshan Aozhao noodles. While not the largest variety, it's a good blend of Chinese and Western dishes, all exquisitely presented. Cai Yue Xuan Chinese Restaurant serves Huaiyang, Cantonese, and fusion cuisine. The portion sizes are well-managed, allowing two people to order several individual dishes for a varied experience. If you prefer not to rack your brain over ordering, their set menus are a well-balanced and reasonably priced option. Overall, it's a hotel I'd definitely return to. "Our high-floor room offered fantastic views of the beautiful city skyline. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to walk to Kunshan Grand Theater and the library, which is perfect for a family outing to see a show. It's very family-friendly; the kids loved the swimming pool and the children's play area. The front desk staff were very kind and attentive, especially to us as we were traveling with seniors and children. The breakfast spread was plentiful, and the restaurant by the river had a lovely ambiance. Even though the hotel was very busy during the May Day holiday, the staff worked hard, and we still had a wonderful experience! 👍"

"The room insulation is excellent, providing great privacy – unlike some hotels where you can hear conversations from next door. The hotel's location is superb, making travel, dining, and entertainment incredibly convenient. It's also within 20 minutes of the high-speed rail station, and there's a commercial complex right downstairs. Even if you want a late-night drink or a snack, there are plenty of shops across the street and to the left. The front desk was very kind and granted my late check-out request. While most hotels offer late check-out until 2 PM, some, perhaps not wanting repeat customers, simply refuse, which is incredibly frustrating. Overall, it's an established five-star hotel with comfortable bedding and a tidy room. It's very close to the shopping district, and Lynne at the front desk provided polite and thoughtful service. My stay was very comfortable!"

"This is my second stay at the Crowne Plaza Kunshan, and it's fantastic! It offers incredible value for money, and the location is excellent. There's a direct corridor from the hotel to Jiufang City, which makes dining and shopping super convenient. The hotel staff are also very welcoming and friendly. I really like the decor style too. All in all, I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Kunshan."

"Pullman Zhouzhuang Water Town Hotel | A Family's Honest Review Booked this hotel specifically for a family-friendly getaway with my 1-year-old, but the overall experience fell far short of luxury hotel standards. The disappointment was significant. There were numerous complaints regarding the family-friendly amenities: Despite communicating our needs in advance, the baby crib provided was old, with the protective rubber strip along the edge being pitted and damaged. There were only three cot bumpers, and they were often unavailable as they were always borrowed out. The basic provisions for a family hotel were completely inadequate. The pool water was too cold, feeling only in the low twenties degrees Celsius, making it unsuitable for infants. The changing rooms had a noticeable odor, creating a very unpleasant experience. The indoor playground had many older children (around six or seven years old) making a lot of noise, which easily startled smaller babies. The outdoor area was unusable due to the high temperatures. Service efficiency was slow and disorganized. Checking in and getting room cards took an excessively long time. We had requested three rooms on the same floor in advance, but this was not honored. For the complimentary Wansan Winery craft experience, the staff couldn't even tell us the exact distance, asking guests to search for it themselves, which showed a lack of professionalism. When dining at the Chinese restaurant, drinking water and baby cutlery were not offered proactively. Attention to detail was severely lacking. For a high-end resort hotel, the bathroom was not equipped with alcohol wipes or disposable toilet seat covers, and there were no disposable liners for the bathtub, indicating poor hygiene standards. Coincidentally, a music festival was held at the hotel during the weekend. The 9.9 RMB event generated continuous noise, disturbing our rest. The lake view rooms were significantly overpriced, and in comparison, the garden view room package offered much better value for money. I do not recommend paying extra for a lake view room. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel specifically for families with infants."

"The room was quite spacious and very clean. The mattress was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. It also came with a bathtub, though I wished the shower stall itself was a bit larger. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the beef and chicken were delicious. The plain congee with pork floss was a wonderful nostalgic treat, reminding me of my childhood. There was some construction going on next door, but the hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs."

"Whenever I'm in Kunshan for work, I usually stay at the Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza. In May, I stayed at the Holiday Inn but missed breakfast. This time, I chose the Holiday Inn again, and the front desk staff, COCO, was incredibly helpful during check-in. She made sure I got to experience their delicious East-meets-West breakfast, which I really appreciate!"

"I have to mention how delicious the breakfast was here. The chef at the egg station patiently made me omelets for several days straight, though he seemed a bit serious. The lady at the noodle station was very polite and made excellent noodles. The managers in suits at the breakfast restaurant seemed to work very hard, and the greeter girls at the entrance were also lovely. I especially want to highlight the front desk manager – she worked incredibly hard! She was handling things at the front desk, then moving to the concierge, and then I even saw her clearing plates in the buffet restaurant. I stayed for 4-5 days and found her to be wonderful; she always fulfilled any request I had. Thumbs up!"
