"This was my first time visiting a high-altitude area, and after much deliberation, I chose the trusted St. Regis hotel. They upgraded me to a suite in the main building, which was excellent. The room was well-equipped, clean, and tidy. It even had an oxygen concentrator, though the oxygen concentration felt a bit low. For someone experiencing severe altitude sickness, this can be quite unsettling. It would be better if the oxygen facilities were improved, as many hotels now offer diffused oxygen systems. I felt much more at ease knowing there's a medical room on the third floor of the hotel. (It would be even better if the hotel waived the small fees (10-20 CNY) for basic checks like blood oxygen, blood pressure, and heart rate. Oxygen therapy and medication were charged normally.) After all, the medical room is a selling point for the hotel. My butler for this stay was Luodan from concierge. His service was exceptional. He'd provide daily weather updates, temperature forecasts, and remind me to bring an umbrella. He even brought my takeout directly to my room, making me feel truly at home. He helped me arrange a private car and driver, recommending the most cost-effective options. When I checked out, he carefully loaded my luggage into the car and knew exactly which car was picking me up. He was incredibly thoughtful, treating me like a friend. Overall, my stay was very pleasant."

This kind of genuine care is something you might not even find in a five-star hotel. The value for money was surprisingly good. Honestly, I expected a Hilton to cost at least several hundred, but the price I booked was much lower than I anticipated, even more cost-effective than some private rooms in hostels. The room was clean and spacious, with oxygen supply and a humidifier, ensuring a really sound sleep at night. While breakfast wasn't a lavish buffet, it offered plenty of tsampa, butter tea, and boiled eggs, enough to keep me full until the afternoon, saving me lunch money. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and getting to the Potala Palace or Jokhang Temple costs just one yuan, making transportation costs almost negligible. After this stay, I feel like I hit the jackpot. Not just because it was affordable, but because of the unreserved kindness from the ******* people. Next time I visit Tibet, I won't hesitate – I'm definitely staying here again! 🙏🎒"

"I absolutely love Farly Hotel. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, like spinning prayer wheels and performing sang offerings. I particularly recommend the evening sound bath experience and the morning Pilates. The instructor's stretching exercises really helped improve my posture. I also woke up early to watch the sunrise, but there's a mountain to the east of Farly, so the sun actually appears about 45 minutes after the official sunrise time. Still, it was a beautiful sight."

Upon arrival and during our stay, Dekyi's service continued to be meticulous and attentive in every detail. She was gentle and sincere in her demeanor, yet efficient and reliable in her actions, patiently following up on our experience throughout. She regularly checked on our well-being and meticulously answered all our questions about sightseeing and dining. Whenever we had a request, she was always there to respond immediately and resolve it efficiently and properly. Her service was just right—never intrusive, yet always comprehensive, balancing professionalism with warmth. In the unfamiliar high-altitude environment, Dekyi, with her twelve years of dedication and passion, provided care that felt like family. There was no perfunctory, by-the-book service, only genuine effort. Every single detail showcased the professional caliber of a high-end butler. I truly commend Dekyi (Nancy) for her outstanding service! "It is a very good hotel in Lhasa, but the daily service is really not good. The order is for three days, and the room fee is prepaid, but the room card is only given for one day. I was very tired after playing outside in the evening of the first day, and I had to go to the service desk again to handle the procedures. What a hell! The faucet in the room has no bubbler, and the water flow is divergent when used; the shower head is full of scale, and many holes cannot discharge water, and the water flow rate of the water outlet holes is very fast, which is very uncomfortable on the body. In fact, just scrape the small silicone outlet, and you can only do it yourself. It is called a VIP building, but we are obviously not VIPs. Maybe there is a reception task. There is a parking space next to the entrance of the VIP building, but it is not allowed to park, and it would rather be empty all day. Alas, it is obvious that we asked for trouble when booking the room. The decoration of the whole building is still very luxurious. The room is quite large, the hygiene is still OK, and the oxygen supply service is real. The breakfast is quite good, with rich varieties, many local characteristics, and the dining service is quite good."

Although the location is far away from the Potala Palace, it is still very convenient to take a taxi. It is close to large supermarkets, hotels, nightlife areas and hospitals, and the surrounding citywalk is quite comfortable."
