"We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is just opposite Xining Train Station and is quite convenient for transportation. The hotel room was clean but having cigarette smell even though I requested for non smoking room. The safe in the room was not working and the bathroom drainage was blockage. Most of the hotel staff here are not friendly and helpful. I would stay in other hotel if I visit to Xining again."

"The location is good. I stayed one more day because I got up a little late and there was not much left in the restaurant. I ate a little in a hurry, but fortunately I was full. "Who knows, family members! This time I stayed in a hotel that can be called a ”dream love shop”, and I must recommend it to everyone! As soon as I stepped into the hotel lobby, the gorgeous and warm decoration directly captured me, and the fragrance smelled just right, instantly driving away the fatigue of the journey. The facilities and equipment are brand new and complete, the location is very good, the front desk lady 71 is super enthusiastic, the check-in is fast and considerate, and she also took the initiative to upgrade the room type, which is full of favorability!"

Ssherry1229Location: Centrally located yet quiet, conveniently close to the Provincial Museum and easily accessible by car. Service: Professional, likely due to their frequent corporate guests. We received a complimentary (and delicious!) Qinghai yogurt upon check-in. Facilities: The room was spacious and bright, equipped with a humidifier. We were upgraded to a higher floor, offering excellent views. Breakfast: A good variety of dishes, and items were replenished promptly. The yogurt was delicious. Drawbacks: Firstly, regarding facilities, there was no physical separation between the bathroom area and the bed. While this created an open feel, it compromised privacy and proper zoning. Additionally, the layout was a bit awkward: the tea/coffee station was immediately to the left upon entering, with the wardrobe further inside, which wasn't a very practical flow. Secondly, I struggled to figure out how to switch the shower function on the bathtub faucet, and the water temperature wasn't as hot as in the main shower. Thirdly, when I asked for a to-go cup for coffee at breakfast, the staff member replied (verbatim): 'This is a buffet; you cannot take it out!😑' This felt a bit inflexible and lacked a personal touch. I'd suggest they learn from similar hotels in other popular tourist provinces to further enhance their service. Summary: My stay was in late August, towards the end of the peak tourist season. For a price of 400+ RMB per night, the facilities and service offered excellent value for money.

FF SheikhThe rooms are very big and spacious! Really helps one feel relaxed. The only problem we experienced was that there was a smoke smell in our rooms which was a surprise given we had selected non smoking rooms. The hotel staff made things right though immediately after we complained by switching our rooms. The rest of our stay was great. The location is pretty good with a lot of halal eating options nearby.

11860011****My stay at Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel in Xining completely exceeded my expectations. Every moment, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely have to sing its praises! First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip. Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs. What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money. In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserI will go home tomorrow. I will write this evaluation on the bed of the hotel. The first time I brought the whole family to Xining, I was really happy to meet this hotel. First of all, the hygiene is really good, there are disposable toilet pads, disposable toiletries, and the hygiene is very good every day. More importantly, this store is really operating with care, from the decoration style of the lobby to the facilities and equipment of the room, including hygiene, and the service attitude is impeccable. The various problems encountered in the accommodation, from the grassroots waiter to the manager, are solved in the first time, and the reply message is timely! ! ! When I left, the child liked the starfish soap in the room, and the manager sent a few more! ! ! ! I wish the hotel better and better! ! !
