"I booked this hotel through Trip.com right before the Dragon Boat Festival for 393 yuan per night. After checking in, I found the room facilities and everything else to be mostly good. On the evening of my arrival, I received a welcome gift of yogurt and some snacks. I used my Trip.com points to redeem breakfast. The breakfast spread was extensive, but mostly consisted of carbs, with relatively fewer protein options (though there were fried eggs, shredded lamb tripe, and bacon; and some stir-fried meat slices in the vegetable dishes). The hotel has a swimming pool, and I had high hopes for it, but the actual experience was quite poor: the pool on the sixth floor didn't provide towels or slippers, and the pool itself had an unpleasant odor (like a sewage backup). Even more absurd, the shower rooms in the changing rooms didn't even have body wash or shampoo. It was, frankly, ridiculous."

"We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is just opposite Xining Train Station and is quite convenient for transportation. The hotel room was clean but having cigarette smell even though I requested for non smoking room. The safe in the room was not working and the bathroom drainage was blockage. Most of the hotel staff here are not friendly and helpful. I would stay in other hotel if I visit to Xining again."

"I stayed at this hotel for three days in Xining. The rooms were spacious and bright, very clean, and the service was good. Parking was usually available, but sometimes it was a bit tight, so it's best to reserve a parking space in advance with the front desk. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and quite good. It's right across from Wanfang City, with a large supermarket downstairs, making it very convenient to buy all kinds of daily necessities. There are also many snack shops and yogurt shops nearby, which I won't go into detail about. Also, this hotel is located in the center of Xining. In case of altitude sickness, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai Province (I think) is just a ten-minute walk away. Don't ask me how I know 😂"

The housekeeping is meticulous and thorough; the room is clean and tidy, and the bathroom is free of standing water and grime, making for a worry-free stay. The service team is kind and attentive, proactively offering thoughtful services like drinking water and travel directions. Transportation is a breeze; the airport shuttle stops right at the hotel entrance, saving time and effort for trips to and from the airport. The floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floors offer an exceptional view, and the city lights at night are picturesque, with the stunning nightscape truly soothing away travel fatigue. "I stayed at The Sebel Xining Apartments, which is connected to Sofitel Xining, and had a pleasant stay overall. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, making it a good place to rest after a day of exploring. The staff who handled my check-in were friendly, efficient, and welcoming, which made the arrival process smooth and enjoyable. A good option for travelers looking for spacious accommodation with the convenience of being connected to the Sofitel facilities."

"Location: Centrally located yet quiet, conveniently close to the Provincial Museum and easily accessible by car. Service: Professional, likely due to their frequent corporate guests. We received a complimentary (and delicious!) Qinghai yogurt upon check-in. Facilities: The room was spacious and bright, equipped with a humidifier. We were upgraded to a higher floor, offering excellent views. Breakfast: A good variety of dishes, and items were replenished promptly. The yogurt was delicious. Drawbacks: Firstly, regarding facilities, there was no physical separation between the bathroom area and the bed. While this created an open feel, it compromised privacy and proper zoning. Additionally, the layout was a bit awkward: the tea/coffee station was immediately to the left upon entering, with the wardrobe further inside, which wasn't a very practical flow. Secondly, I struggled to figure out how to switch the shower function on the bathtub faucet, and the water temperature wasn't as hot as in the main shower. Thirdly, when I asked for a to-go cup for coffee at breakfast, the staff member replied (verbatim): 'This is a buffet; you cannot take it out!😑' This felt a bit inflexible and lacked a personal touch. I'd suggest they learn from similar hotels in other popular tourist provinces to further enhance their service. Summary: My stay was in late August, towards the end of the peak tourist season. For a price of 400+ RMB per night, the facilities and service offered excellent value for money."

"The rooms are very big and spacious! Really helps one feel relaxed. The only problem we experienced was that there was a smoke smell in our rooms which was a surprise given we had selected non smoking rooms. The hotel staff made things right though immediately after we complained by switching our rooms. The rest of our stay was great. The location is pretty good with a lot of halal eating options nearby."
