"For a five-star hotel, the hygiene was excellent, but the facilities felt a bit dated. Specifically, there was nowhere to place my phone or other items next to the toilet in the bathroom, which resulted in my phone falling off the toilet paper holder's metal cover. Additionally, the sink was a bit shallow. However, these minor points aside, the location is a little out of the way, but it's very close to the station and within walking distance of the city center. The service was absolutely top-notch. Disposable slippers, razors, and tissues were readily available, and anything else you might need could be requested from the front desk. Overall, the experience was excellent. The hotel's atrium interior was luxuriously decorated and quite impressive."

"The Julius Prague is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the city. Its location is perfect—just a short walk to major attractions like Charles Bridge, the Astronomical Clock, and the Old Town, yet tucked away enough to avoid the heavy crowds. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was modern, comfortable, and well-equipped. One thing that stood out is their unique concept—there’s no telephone in the room. Instead, you connect with the team through their hotel app or even WhatsApp. It was surprisingly convenient and worked perfectly for requests and housekeeping. The suite came with full amenities, including a great rain shower. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, and after a full day of exploring Prague, it was exactly what we needed for a good night’s rest. Breakfast was another highlight. The spread was generous, but we must especially compliment the chef for the sautéed mushrooms with onions and the broccolini—perfectly cooked, lightly seasoned, and among the best we had in Prague. If you’re looking for a place that’s close to all the main sights but still feels like a retreat from the crowds, The Julius Prague is an excellent choice. Overall, The Julius Prague offers the ideal balance of convenience, comfort, and quality."

"The breakfast was amazing! Very good spread! Delicious 😊 Very clean and nice hotel next to Kafka Head. Convenient to take the tram and lots of shops within walking distance! Lots of restaurants too!"

"Hotel is located in a quiet part of town with easy access to Old Town through the adjacent metro station. There are a few interesting parks, breweries, and wineries nearby to walk to. Breakfast was quite satisfactory with adequate options. The executive lounge had a good view of the town and the castle. The sandwich selections were good but would not change from day to day. It appeared you need to pay extra in order to use the pool, which seemed to be odd! Overall, this would be a hotel I would return to."

"We booked three rooms for a group of six and stayed for three nights. Upon check-in, we immediately found that the rooms were significantly smaller than what we had booked. After having contacted front desk and Trip.com, rooms cannot be changed and we were only offered very minimal compensation without clear explanation for the discrepancy in room size. We felt very frustrated not to mention the time wasted seeking for remedies. The hotel’s central location is perfect for exploring main attractions but several aspects of our stay did not meet expectations. 1. Room Size & Cleanliness: The room was small and the overall cleanliness was below average. For instance, the hairdryer full of fingerprints and grease (no hygiene bag) is put right next to clean bath towels. 2. Privacy Concern: An uninvited housekeeping staff entered our room without knocking to promote a €25 hotel branded teddy bear, which is totally unacceptable and lack of respect for privacy. 3. Breakfast Experience: Breakfast had a wide selection but it was served in the bar area (where is the main entrance of the hotel to reach hotel front desk) and mezzanine floor with fairly limited seats. Food was laid over bartender’s countertop that created a chaotic and stressful environment especially during the breakfast peak hours. 4. Security Concern: As the hotel was modernised from a historic building, there are structural limitations e.g. the staff / housekeeping lift and dedicated lift to the rooftop bar share the same lift lobby for hotel rooms. The bar lift somehow also provides access to hotel room floors. This poses security concerns since non-hotel/bar guests could potentially access hotel rooms without any security checks. This hotel would suit travelers who prioritize location than any things else. Based on our experiences, it should not be classified as a five star as it claims for."

"Hotel in good location but unfortunately in front of hotel is doing construction works. Convenient for going attraction by walking distance. Hotel staff always giving smil2ing face and friendly! Beside hotel the Fat Cat restaurant also must try the burger and beer! Fantastic stay!"

"First of all, this is a self-service hotel, the hotel room is still relatively spacious, and the bathroom is still relatively clean. Unfortunately, the whole check-in process, the hot water supply is extremely unstable, and I have contacted and communicated with the hotel customer service several times. "U Prince Hotel is located in the core area of ​​the Old Square. You can see the astronomical clock and the cathedral when you go out. The top floor of the hotel is a sightseeing platform, where you can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. It overlooks the Old Square and is a great place to check in. It is also a place frequented by locals. The hotel has a rich variety of breakfasts. There is a bar on the basement floor, where there are many foreigners and locals. Most of the hotel's service staff are Czech, with sweet looks and very thoughtful and comprehensive services. Full 5 stars."

"Nice hotel: Great location, particularly if you travel by train (2 minutes walking distance to Prague’s Central/Main Railway Station), a clean, quiet and comfortable room with a balcony and nice city view… The only disturbing/annoying issue is the relatively late opening of the breakfast restaurant. It opens 7:30 am (on working days), which is too late in case you have a business meeting or need to go to the airport."
