Gorgeous tropical, relaxed vibe — the InterContinental Danang is genuinely beautiful. Service can be a bit slow at times, but honestly it just forces you to slow down too, which fits the atmosphere perfectly. Breakfast at Citron is the absolute highlight and a must — get there early to secure outdoor seating with those incredible views. Be prepared to spend an hour just taking photos for social media; it's that picturesque. Barefoot, the Italian spot by the beach, was excellent. The pizza was probably one of the best I've had in Vietnam (yes, better than Pizza 4P's). Dessert was fantastic too. Be sure to book activities as soon as you arrive, as they fill up fast. La Maison 1888, the Michelin 1-star, was a bit of a letdown in my opinion — too expensive, too salty, and just okay overall. You're probably better off saving your money for an omakase elsewhere, or a proper 2 or 3-star experience. The HARNN Heritage Spa massage, while around 7x more expensive than what you'd pay outside the resort, was surprisingly excellent and well worth the splurge.

The hotel's location is super close to Hoi An Ancient Town, within walking distance, and also near the night market and restaurants. The decor style is pretty nice too. However, the room was incredibly small, and so was the bed. There was a phone on the nightstand, making it difficult to put anything else down. What's even crazier is that to get into bed, you had to squeeze past a corner sideways – it was ridiculous. Thankfully, it was cleaned fairly well, but on the second day, a bug somehow got in and scared my daughter to tears. While I understand that's common in Southeast Asia, it still wasn't a great experience. I wouldn't recommend it for families. The biggest highlight was the swimming pool, which my kids really enjoyed, but there's no way I'd stay there again.

The location is convenient, less than a 10-minute walk to Han Market. Next to Han Market, there are many massage parlors and restaurants with reasonable prices. We booked three sea-view rooms, and the views varied; some were very open, while others were obstructed. The chicken noodle soup across the hotel is delicious.

My impression of Risemount was that it felt fresh, modern, and youthful. However, my overall experience did not fully meet my expectations. I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 PM, but there was no greeting at the entrance. At that time, only one receptionist was assisting another guest. While I was carrying my child and two hand-carry suitcases to the counter, a female staff member from another desk kindly came over to help me with the check-in. After checking in, I was offered a glass of ginger tea with honey. At first, the flavor felt quite strong and slightly spicy, so I thought it might contain a bit of alcohol. After asking, I understood that it was ginger tea with honey, which was a thoughtful welcome drink. In the room, I noticed a strand of hair in the bathtub, and the showerhead in the standing shower was loose, causing water to splash outside. Together with the bathroom slippers, this made me feel a bit uncomfortable and less safe while using the bathroom. The soundproofing could also be improved, as I could still hear traffic noise and sounds from the neighboring room even with the windows and doors closed. During the night, I was disturbed by mosquitoes and couldn’t sleep well. At around 2 AM, my daughter, who was very tired after a long day at the beach, had an accident in bed. I tried to contact housekeeping and the reception for assistance, but unfortunately, I could not reach anyone at that time. This was quite inconvenient during our stay. In addition, although the breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, I personally felt that the presentation and overall setup could be more refined to better match the hotel’s standard.

First of all, I would like to give Grandvrio Ocean Resort the highest rating. If you’re planning a trip to Da Nang and looking for a comfortable place to stay, this resort would be my first recommendation. Our stay here was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Here are the things I loved most about this resort: 1. Exceptional cleanliness One of the most important parts of any trip is staying in a clean and comfortable hotel, and Grandvrio Ocean Resort exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless, the towels were fresh, and everything was well maintained. It made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. 2. Delicious food with plenty of choices The resort has several restaurants offering both Asian and Western cuisine, and every meal we had was excellent. There were three breakfast options available, and I highly recommend having breakfast at Coconut Beach while enjoying the beautiful ocean view. The buffet breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes. If you’re traveling as a couple, don’t miss the Afternoon Tea experience. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy delicious desserts, and spend quality time together in a peaceful atmosphere with excellent service. 3. Great facilities for families If you’re traveling with children, this resort is a wonderful choice. There are children’s swimming pools and play areas, making it very family-friendly. The swimming pools are open from morning until evening, and lifeguards are always on duty, making us feel safe and well looked after. 4. Wonderful spa experience If you enjoy massages, the spa offers excellent treatments at very reasonable prices. There is also a private swimming pool exclusively for spa guests, which made the experience even more relaxing. 5. Convenient free shuttle service The resort provides complimentary shuttle buses to Hoi An Ancient Town and Ba Na Hills, two of the most popular attractions in Da Nang. Having free transportation to these famous destinations was a huge advantage and made sightseeing much easier. 6. Outstanding hospitality The best part of our stay was definitely the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. Most of the staff spoke English well, so communication was always easy. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home and created wonderful memories that we will never forget. If I visit Da Nang again, I will definitely choose Grandvrio Ocean Resort without any hesitation. Everything was managed professionally, and every member of the staff made us feel welcome. Thank you for making our stay so special. Overall, I really liked the hotel. The room was excellent, stylish, and the balcony view was spectacular. The hotel itself also has an interesting, modern interior. The location is a bit on the outskirts, but that's also a plus, as it's quieter and more peaceful. We used taxis for transportation, so we didn't experience any problems. Breakfast was wonderful, with various fruits, yogurts, vegetables, pastries, and an assortment of cheeses and cold cuts. There's also a small à la carte menu for breakfast – I've included photos of waffles and a croissant with avocado. Everything was delicious and served quickly. The only issue is the ventilation in the breakfast restaurant; it's very stuffy. They have portable fans, but they don't quite manage. There were apology notes on the tables explaining that renovations are underway. The elevators are also very hot, and sometimes you have to wait for them for a long time, as it's a tall hotel. But these are probably the only inconveniences. We used the laundry service and were satisfied; our clothes were washed and ironed quickly. The beach across the road is excellent, not equipped, but for us, that's a plus – fewer people, less trash, etc. The immediate beach area itself is in a somewhat dilapidated state, with an old, unkempt building. However, I believe they'll gradually tidy it up. I enjoyed my stay at Radisson Red and recommend it as a decent city hotel.

The stay was amazing in every way! New World Hoiana Beach Resort is a beautiful property with lots of amenities and entertainment to choose from. The service was top-notch, the team even put a birthday cake in our room on my birthday! We got a lovely Deluxe room on the 13th floor, overlooking the nearby countryside and the ocean. Breakfast was amazing, with great service and a super wide selection of food options. I also recommend using the complimentary shuttle to get to Hoi An and Da Nang.

This hotel has the feel of a new-era five-star establishment, with friendly and attentive staff. The room's bathroom and toilet are separate, but the shower room oddly lacks a glass door, so water inevitably splashes out, making the bathroom floor slippery. There's a power outlet on the hairdryer rack in the toilet, but my own curling iron couldn't be used with it; you'll need to bring a travel adapter. The King Size bed features a mattress that feels like being enveloped by clouds. There are two types of feather pillows, one large and one small; I personally think a small memory foam pillow would be a better option than the small feather one. The room provides bottled water in glass bottles. It would be more convenient for travelers if these were replaced with plastic bottles for easier portability when going out. The room also boasts a spacious balcony, but unfortunately, it was locked, preventing us from enjoying the view. As for the location, it's not far from Han Market, easily reachable on foot, and close to popular spots like Pizza 4P's.

The hotel is a little far from the city centre, but it makes up for that with great amenities. There’s a lovely swimming pool, mini casino, Ktv bar and an extensive spa facility. The view of Han River is exceptional. Getting around is easy, most Grab cars wait around the hotel. Improvements: Booking trips with the concierge is terribly expensive. Our trip to Ba na hills cost us half of what the hotel charged. The shuttle service is a great bonus but the schedule is a little inconvenient for a lot of activities. For example, you can only leave for the beach at 7:30 or 15:00, nothing in between.

This place is perfect for those who love relaxation. It's the best spot for families with kids. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The reception service is excellent; the staff really try their best. The only downside is the language barrier – you'll definitely need a translator. The food gets an 8 out of 10. Everything in the restaurant is lovely, and they have a great selection. Both the kids' and adult pools are excellent. There are 3 restaurants and a nightclub on site. We got an early check-in and a free transfer, plus a fantastic 60-minute massage and a tea ceremony. The Marble Mountains are just a 3-minute walk away (with cafes, souvenir shops, and a mini-market nearby). It's a 20-minute motorbike ride to Hoi An (we went and it was great!). And about 15-20 minutes by Grab bike to Da Nang city center (My Khe Beach). Every day, there's a free, comfortable, air-conditioned car departing from the hotel at 9:00 AM, with a return pick-up at 3:00 PM (you *must* book this in advance). If you're looking for peace, quiet, delicious food, and relaxation, this is the place for you.
