"A Hidden Gem in the Heart of China's Tea Plantations Our stay at this homestay was nothing short of magical. We traveled as a group of eight, including two young children, three grandparents, and three adults, and every single one of us had an incredible time. Nestled amidst lush tea plantations, the setting is absolutely stunning. Each morning, we woke up to breathtaking sunrises and a serene mist that blanketed the landscape. The house itself is a work of art—crafted entirely of wood and with impeccable aesthetic taste that reflects a deep respect for nature. But as beautiful as the surroundings and accommodations are, the true highlight of our stay was the hospitality of the host. In our three years in China, we have never experienced anything like it. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we were visiting a dear friend rather than staying in a hotel. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine care made us feel completely at home. The food was exceptional, and we were treated to fresh fruits and tea throughout the day. She showed special care for our children, teaching them (and us!) how to make tea, and even accompanied us on a walk to share her knowledge of the local flora. One day, she surprised us with her hidden talent as a musician, singing traditional Chinese songs while playing the guitar and drums. Her smile and positive energy were infectious, leaving a lasting impression on all of us. This homestay was more than just a place to stay—it was an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, warmth, and cultural connection. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, knowing this was the best place we've ever stayed in China. "It was truly an outstanding experience. Mr. Xu ended up driving us around for our entire stay - from tea stores to local Dai village, till sending us to the train station. We tasted amazing teas, tried local foods, made tea cakes, went to see ancient tea tree with him; he even invited us to dinner with his friends. Breakfast is amazing with view of clouds; the restaurant in the hotel has really good food. Fruit plate every afternoon; tea tasting with Jiangjiang, a Laobanzhang tea expert. We leaned so much about puer tea and tasted some of the best puer teas in the region. One of the most unforgettable stay ever for us and we are so grateful!"

"First of all, the auxiliary building has nothing to do with the main building. There is another district so far away that it is impossible to find it by car. There is not much environment around this villa area. When we arrived, we were the only family in the hotel, which was quite scary. Secondly, a cockroach crawled into the makeup box and ran out. It was so scary."

"A very pleasant stay experience! The decoration style of the B&B is very unique and full of artistic atmosphere. The rooms are consistent with the pictures. I like the decoration style very much. The various facilities are beautifully arranged and the hygiene is very clean. I feel at ease when I stay. The B&B is in a bustling area and the surrounding transportation is convenient. . The sound insulation is good and the air conditioning is cool. I slept peacefully all night. I will choose this B&B every time."

"The hotel environment is beautiful and perfect for a vacation. We checked in on February 24th, and it was still quite busy. The surrounding area is also lovely, nestled among mountains with fresh air. However, since the holiday wasn't quite over, the occupancy rate was high, and the hotel staff were clearly insufficient, leading to inadequate service. The swimming pool was neglected, filled with fallen leaves, making it unusable. In the restaurant, there were only a few staff members who were overwhelmed and eventually just gave up. For breakfast, with so many people, they simply couldn't keep up with clearing tables. Overall, aside from the nice environment, the service was virtually non-existent. The staff seemed untrained and couldn't answer many questions. It felt like they were overwhelmed by the crowd today. We had booked for four nights, but couldn't stand it anymore, so we checked out two nights early. The hotel was good about providing a full refund, which was a plus. I'd recommend it for vacationers who prioritize the environment, but avoid going during peak times; maybe then the service would improve."

"We drove from the bustling Jinghong to Menghai. The road was dusty and we were a little disappointed, but when we arrived at the place where we stayed, it was still worth it. Because we were the only family staying on the first day, the housekeeper still strongly recommended taking an open-air hot spring bath, which was much more comfortable than the room, but it was too hot. Thank you for letting us use the water. The environment was very good, and we also drank Pu'er tea brewed by the housekeeper and learned some knowledge about tea. It was very quiet and comfortable at night. I slept much better than the previous few days. I replenished my energy and had a great time going to the market the next day.
