"I was lucky to find this room! The people who have it are very nice and kind and very understanding, the room is big enough and comfortable for two people, very clean and there are all the essentials you need, water in the fridge, coffee and tea for the morning and even a mini kitchen in case you want to cook something, very close to the center, literally 3 minutes walk, it is the best for a couple who would like to spend their vacation or even a weekend, it counts a lot!"

"too bad for the room that is a bit small, the bathroom has no windows, the only window that this place had was next to the wall of the bed but unfortunately we could not even open it because all the branches of the tree located outside the house entered, for the rest the services were good and nothing was missing. also from the photos we thought we had the room with the balcony that was on the floor above ours. I do not recommend it for more than a night"

"Excellent location with a sea view in a quiet neighbourhood close to the beach, taxi boats and bus station. Staff were extremely helpful throughtout our stay with very good advice on where to go on the island. The owner picked us from the port upon arrival and dropped when we left. The room were spacious and spotless and the breakfast was delicious.We highly recommend this small family hotel to anyone who visits the idylic island of Symi."

"Rhodes-Symi shuttle canceled today due to bad weather conditions and no fallback solution provided for the return to Rhodes the next day given the same conditions, according to the shipping companies. After communicating with me by message and asking me to make the request to cancel the room reservation via booking, which I did, they simply refused the request. Great dishonesty, I do not recommend trusting these hosts. As for the room, we didn't see it but the opinions are not unanimous so it's ultimately not a regret."

The bar man never stopped smiling, the waitress in the restaurant could not have been more Greek or accommodating and the receptionist Nothing is too much trouble. "Good location, lovely patio, room 12 has a great terrace. Well-equipped with a kitchen, but unfortunately, you can't always sit there because of loud fan noise from the laundry room below. No one speaks English or Greek. The TV is broken. You can only leave your luggage outside the entrance without locking it until departure. I imagine the rooms downstairs are very dark."

"Our first trip to Greece will be the first of many! The Old Markets is a beautiful environment and totally relaxing. 5 mins walk down the steps to the harbour (with the water taxis to the extraordinary beaches and the fantastic Poseidon round-the-island boat tour) and 15 minutes to the top of Kali Strata and restaurants at the top of the hill (The Secret Garden and Kali Strata). It’s a VERY short transfer from the Sebeco ferry terminal and Daniel met us on arrival and made sure our bags were spirited to our room. The staff are absolutely welcoming and put you at your ease most gracefully. To be ultra-critical, a little more variety at Breakfast would enhance longer stays but what is on offer is lovely (especially the Symi Omlette). Don’t expect champagne as it says on the website. However, we had a 10 days stay, full of superlatives, and would strongly encourage anyone to stay. Thank you Carlo and Team. We will be back! "

"If having a chandelier and a fancy painted ceiling in your room means deluxe then we are truly living in luxury. However the reality is much more basic than deluxe. We have a bed , a fridge and a bathroom. There's also a wardrobe with a couple of drawers in it. I've stayed in bigger hotel rooms at less cost. I was expecting some sort of kitchen facility but maybe I didn't read the small print. Outside (we were on the ground floor) are a few tatty chairs and a table that have seen much better days - these are outside the front door in a public area. It isn't all bad. The rooms are OK. The bed is comfy, the air-conditioning works and the shower is good. Location is perfect but if I was to come again, the next door hotel would get my business. I didn't hate it but I feel you are being mis-sold on deluxe and for what you get they are overpriced."

"Amazing place to stay in Symi. Try to get the top floor rooms with the balcony if you can (there are only 3 on top, 3 on the bottom). It has a mesmerizing view; you can just stay and watch all day the view unfold in front of you – the yachts, the ferries and the light on the houses across. The space is ample, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. There is no breakfast but there are options as everything is walkable in town. We found that Hotel Nireus around the corner has a good breakfast. Just be aware that there are 18 shallow steps to get into the hotel and another 18 to get to the top floor. But Dimitri has someone bring our luggage up when we arrived. We have to bring it down and out ourselves. It is generally in quiet place but we were there on a weekend when Yachta across was having a disco which run till the morning. Hope it does not happen often. If you are coming from Rhodes, the Sea Dreams' King Saron ferry dock in front of the police station, just steps away from the hotel. No more dragging your luggage across the town. We never met Dimitri but he was in communication and very helpful. This is a perfect place to enjoy Symi."

"This hotel truly feels like a little piece of paradise. The location is amazing with a quiet beach so close to the hotel. What makes it even more special is the incredible staff – warm, kind, and genuinely helpful. Everyone, from the driver and the cleaner to the receptionist, the chef, and all the others, went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. The food was prepared with so much love that we never felt the need to dine anywhere else. Cristina puts her heart into every dish! And Antonio – so friendly and attentive – went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience at Niriides. Couldn’t ask for anything else! We can’t wait to come back next year!"
