We cant comment on the food as we did not have any food in the hotel. Maybe next time. The facilities was good. "I stayed here for 2 days and 1 night, and overall it was a pleasant experience. Everything went smoothly, and the hotel provided a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's unique design gives it a cozy, home-like feel, which I really enjoyed. The location is excellent, with many popular local food spots nearby. The Siam Night Market is also within easy reach, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay. The only downside is that the room's soundproofing could be improved. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this may not be the best choice for you."

"This is likely the only backpacker hostel in Taiping, and it’s located right in the town centre, within walking distance of eateries, convenience stores, notable attractions, and the Lake Gardens. Lin, the owner, is very hospitable and helpful, personally guiding guests through the facilities and house rules. The hostel previously operated a late-night bar serving alcohol, but that is no longer the case. As a result, the owner typically stays on-site only until around 5:30 pm, so it’s important to inform her in advance if you expect to arrive late. That said, I highly recommend this place for travelers who want a down-to-earth, authentic stay. The hostel carries a strong heritage vibe that truly reflects the charm of Taiping—perfectly aligning with the town’s nickname, “The Heritage City.”"

"I have stayed here several times. But in this recent trip, the mattress (obviously old) was uncomfortable and sank under my weight (I'm a petite 46kg!). And the bed might have mites as I kept itching all over. I didn't get a good night's sleep. This hotel is old and any refurbishment should include new mattresses and not just new paint."

"The moment step into the house, the floor is shining clean and we finally decided to remove shoes outside. The cleanliness inside the room needs to be improved: under the beds are dusty. One toy accidentally rolled under bed, after took the toy out, my hand and toy was full with dust n some spider web? Suggest may be can put some frosted sticker on the glass door of toilet. Its too honey moon feeling than family stay. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay very much. Kids enjoy the slide most. My wife is satified with laundry and I liked the bed n pillow, very comfortable. We will come back again for next visit, just hope the glass door cover with more privacy and cleaner room. Thank you for having us."

"After i checked in i noticed a chinese guy didn't wear clothes beside my room going down to living hall.When i back from dinner i saw one indian guy sitting infront the house, then i called to reception known the night have indian, Malay guy stay in the house.Finally i decided stay overnight in my friend house.If you are female not recommend this house feel insecurity. I would come back here again."

"We have enjoy the stay well, just the cleanliness need to improved further. We found bird **** on bedsheet for room for 6 ppl. 3 sparrows were found inside the house. The room aircond also make loud sound during night time, disturbing our sleep. Apart from that, overall is ok. The house have large space for gathering and play."
