"This was an amazing hotel and after the hellish experience I’d had in travelling to Taunton and other things along the way this hotel was bliss. Nicky on the desk was a lovely person and made you feel like you were lifelong friends. My room was 29 and it had everything I needed. It was clean and bright and the bed was so cosy. There was even a fridge in it! There are kitchen areas on every floor with cookers, fridges and microwaves. I loved my stay and if I ever return to Taunton I’ll definitely go back there ❤️"

"Room clean and tidy. TV could do with updating to allow streaming. Breakfast was good. Only issue with noise from children running up and down the corridor, also noise from above, again sounded like children jumping."

"We stayed in Room 7. Fantastic shower! Tea/coffee tray etc excellent. Hair dryer. No plug sockets near bed but asked at reception anc had extension lead given. Very soft double bed so i slept on single bed in room. Windows good to keep road noise out Very good receptionist. Great parking. No breakfast available on site as hotel at Motorway service station"

"Arrived late afternoon to be greeted by Deb, she was super helpful and made my check in process easy and booked me in for dinner. Dinner was fantastic, loved the new bar area and now had the added bonus of having moretti on tap! Breakfast same top notch as I’ve come to expect from PI."

"Excellent location. Walking distance to Sainsbury’s, McDonalds and Starbucks. Room was clean and bed comfy. Stifling hot though and the desk fan was of minimal benefit given that the window opening is restricted."

"We booked two nights for a wedding,I totally understand the hot weather but just supplying an electric fan didn't lower the 32/35degrees in the room,if the windows could open more than 5cms maybe a better flow but didn't sleep at all!,staff were good but it was out of their control.for the price it wasn't good and won't be using premier inns again"

"This is not our first stay here and we have always found it to be a very nice stop off. Friendly staff, good breakfasts in a spotless eating area. This year the screen for entering my care registration was "not working" and I verbally gave my car registrations details to reception. Today I received a fine for parking illegally, although I had a confirmed booking. Lenny Henry never mentioned this could happen in the ads."
