"What a great resort tucked into a lakeside location with a mangrove nearby for walking or kayaking! We stayed in this resort for one night before heading to Koh Kood. If your flight to Trat lands after the last ferry to the islands, this is a terrific option for overnight accommodations. The room on the lake was clean and spacious, the restaurant food and servers were excellent, and the breakfast buffet had many choices for Western or Thai dishes. There seemed to be an endless amount of activities for families and the whole resort looks like a fun place to explore. There is a theme of nature everywhere you go and the resort reuses and recycles. Glass bottles of high quality drinking water were provided. Most of all, the staff could not have been more kind or helpful—every person was friendly and assisted with any need. If you have the chance, stay at Banpu Resort!"

"Great location to spend the night before heading out to KohChang. My only suggestion would be to include gov water/ kettle option. It's seems to be the logical choice in December. Other than that, great rooms!"

"The air condition size is too small for the area of the room. It is quite hot especially during day time. There is no coffee, tea or electric kettle provided. There is no elevator. Quite disappointed."

From the bus station to which buses from Bangkok arrive can be reached on foot. Approximately 1.8 we arrived on the road using Google Maps in 25 minutes."
