"The main complaint I had was the hotel refused to let me pay the $200 deposit by cash. I did not have the money on my discover used to pay for the room or in my checking acct. I was given the option to use a card or cancel my reservations. It was midnight and I had surgery at 5:00 am the next morning. I didn’t have the extra money or time to find another hotel. I was forced to use my bank card which overdrew my checking account and that cost me an additional $27 thru my bank in overdraft fees. Then I was told the deposit would be refunded back to my card on 2-4 business days. It has now been 5 business days and I still do not have the $100 refund in my bank account. Because of this inconvenience I will not be staying at Avid hotels in the future."

"Breakfast was great! The rooms were nice. The location is perfect. Walking distance to plenty restaurants, and to Greenwood. We really enjoyed learning the history of the Tulsa Race Massacre. We left with so much more knowledge on what happened, and encouraged that Tulsa is commentating it and making changes."
