"This hotel, quite simply, is a gem! First, the staff is friendly, helpful, considerate and thoroughly professional. The gentleman who checked me in the late afternoon yesterday 1 November (and whose name, unfortunately, I forgot) gave me a wonderfully interesting introduction to Regensburg and its fabulous history. The hotel is right in the middle of the old city, Germany’s really only genuine medieval city. Literally everything is right there. So many restaurants within a stone’s throw that if you’re only there for 1 night you have to flip a coin to decide where to eat. The hotel is spotless and the service is tip top. Oh yes, you’re right around the corner from St Peter’s-i.e.-the Regensburg-Cathedral, an absolutely gorgeous gothic masterpiece. I am temporarily using a cane after an ankle operation, and the kindness and consideration the staff gave me is something I’ll never forget. It goes without saying that I’ll be back without a cane and will spend more than just one day at this wonderful hotel and city."

"The room has a Do Not Disturb sign and is locked, but the cleaning staff can still open the door? ! You must check out at 11 o'clock! If you can't stay in this hotel, don't stay in it. Avoid lightning!"

"The hotel was amazing! The room is huge compared to other hotels where you would pay even more money. Located near everything. Staff super friendly. You can take a water bottle at the reception (made out of glass) and refill it with normal water or mineral water at the reception. Totally recommend it!"
