"My wife and I stayed here again in March as aprt of a road trip to Germany. It is a hotel that we have stayed at many times and one that we love as we know we will be comfortable here and well looked after. In the past we have just stayed the single night before moving on to the mountains of Bavaria. However this time we both decided to stay longer and explore the litte town of Parsberg and its castle and it was a good decision. We have reviewed this many times before but when something is as good as thos hotel it is worth, we think, of repeating. The suites are just superb. Quiet and comfortable with great beds and a fabulous power shower. Being a pair of Oldies now we are fortunate to be able to stay in 5 star hotels. We stayed in 2 on this recent roadtrip and we have to say that the bed at the Hirschen was the best of all ! Added to that the great choice at breakfast in the mornings with a choice of egg dishes cooked to order and wonderful breads, jams,fruit,cold meats etc. If you leave here hungry in the morning, you havent tried had enough ! And then dinners in the evening in the restaurant which is just a short stroll over from the hotel. We dined on two evenings and the food was sublime. I had a wonderful local dry aged steak on both evenings and my wife had a fish dish. All beautifully presented and served with grace and charm. And just to repeat myslef again....I'm an old guy now and I am allowed to ! The Hirschen is privately owned and run by the family and it shows in everything they do here. All is done with love and care because they are clearly proud of what they offer. Thankyou Hotel Hirschen and we will return in October."

"A centrally located hotel with direct bus connections to the old town. The old town is a 10-minute walk away. Everything was very clean. 24/7 reception. Convenient online check-in. No waiting time at check-in or check-out. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take advantage of the extensive and varied breakfast buffet. 5 stars from us."
