"This hotel looked like it needs some refurbishing but it does have a strong point in that it right on Lake Van. I had a few issues during my stay but were resolved immediately. The room I was first given smelled of drainage pipes so they immediately gave me another. In the evening, I realised my hair dryer was broken. They immediately sent someone to fix it. The next day, the water from my toilet no longer worked. They sent someone to fix it immediately while I had breakfast. They are very quick to solve any problems. I loved the breakfast, so much variety. And I am grateful that they let me have my room a bit earlier which many hotel won’t even if they could. The staff are great."

I read the previous that they could not do anything with the temp control and you can only open the window. Since my room is facing the main street, when the window is open it will be very noisy. The room wall is very thin. If your neighbour's room is someone who is talking loudly, you definitely can hear all the conversation. Room end with 02 will be facing the main street. The check in is located on the 1st floor."

"The service attitude is great. Every employee is very nice. This shows the high level of management of this Hilton, including helping me to surf the Internet Wi-Fi. The breakfast area is also perfect. The room is clean and comfortable. The only downside of the hotel is that it is far from the lake. The 6-lane highway speeds past at speed. It would be perfect if the hotel has a safe passage that can easily reach the lake."

"Overall, the room was clean and well-equipped with both central heating and an individual air conditioner. However, the staff were often unfriendly and seemed busy, frequently stepping outside to smoke, especially in the morning. Most of them also did not speak English. The hotel is quite isolated. While it has lake view, the view wasn't as appealing as I had hoped. There are only one or two expensive restaurants nearby, and they are not easy to walk to due to the lack of a proper path. The fact that you never see anyone walking in the area says it all. A major drawback was the lack of helpful information. The staff could not provide any details on public transport or long-distance bus schedules; their only suggestion was to take a taxi and go to the station and buy a ticket. I managed to get information for the local 102 bus purely by luck. Fortunately, I arrived early for the bus to Doğubeyazıt, which has a fixed schedule. If I had arrived after 9, I will have to wait for three hours. Other issues included an ATM they recommended initially that had no English language option, and an average breakfast that consisted of 90% cold dishes. If you go before 8 AM, there is no one ready to assist you. Verdict: Stay here only if you are driving and are primarily looking for a clean room in good condition."

"We stayed for 10 nights. It was really clean. The staff was excellent. The transfer was good. The hotel manager, Mr. Arkan, was a respectful man. He helped us a lot. Excellent access to everything. Shopping center, bakery, supermarket, pharmacy. Everything was good. The breakfast was good. The only problem was that the breakfast was not charged. You had to go early, otherwise everything was good."
