Hotel LaMorosa ★★★

"Lovely visit to the hotel. Hotel is clean, comfortable and great beach views. Staff are incredibly friendly- as they helped us to book a meal at a yummy local restaurant (Old American) and sorted us out with printing our flight boarding passes off. Breakfast was yummy, with a great selection of options. Loved the multicoloured lights in the bathroom above the shower. Great added feature. Only downside to our stay, was lots of building works happening and not much open- presumably because this is out of season for Rimini. The bus route (4) was also partially running, which meant about a 15 minute walk to the bus stop- rather than stopping directly outside the hotel- wouldn’t have usually been a problem but with a very stubborn toddler, it wasn’t much fun! However, along the beach front, there were multiple play areas- so fortunately that kept us going. I think once the beach works have been completed, it will look lovely! We are thinking about booking again for the summer. We did find a local train station for Rimini Versba, typically on our last day, which is closer to the hotel and more accessible to places. We ate at a lovely little burger place too on our first night, as we needed something quick and easier. It was called Chef Burger, great value for money and the best burger we’ve ever had!"

"Many thanks to Martina, her mother and grandmother for the wonderful service and care. We felt very comfortable in this hotel. Excellent breakfast, homemade cakes and waffles, amazing! The beach was a 3-minute walk from the hotel, parking in the yard next to the hotel. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Rimini. Highly recommended!"

"Well where to start? On the + side. The staff are all helpful and pleasant, location good and the food was ok. On the - side. The room 303 was so cramped and dated it was a cross between a youth hostel and a prison cell this room had to have the smallest shower I have ever been in and the bed was so uncomfortable, the cleaning?? bad to say the least, dust everywhere never took anything away ie glasses plates, food at dinner/lunch was ok started to get fed up of paster in the end but for what we paid it was ok apart from being like Faulty towers at serving time menu not on the table when it was there was a reserved card for someone else?? I think that a controlled buffet would be more efficient, the breakfast was poor coffee machines rarely worked no fruit no eggs basically same stuff every day, never ate breakfast. Was told that the people that sell the chairs on the beach would give us a good price if we said that we were in the hotel, wife went to enquire 25 euros per day (special price for hotel) I went and enquired not being a resident in the hotel? same price???? so that got my back up, my wife went to the sea with a towel she was very quickly told to leave and if you don't pay you can't use the beach at all so they own the sand and the sea. So would I stay again? maybe not sure but like I said for what we paid it was ok the flights cost more than the hotel "

"Super positive note for the staff: always smiling, helpful and professional. Unfortunately the room instead gets a big failing: bathroom with ants, dated and with a shower that is practically non-existent. Overall it really needs to be renovated. Breakfast that struggled to keep up with the pace of a weekend like that of the Rimini wellness in which the turnout was high and it seemed that food and drinks ran out quickly."

Hotel Stella d'Oro ★★★

"We didn’t even stay a full day and left for another hotel. The manager accused us of not paying our bill despite us having email proof. First, they claimed they didn’t receive our deposit but acknowledged the rest was paid. Then, they changed their story, saying we hadn’t paid anything. She repeatedly demanded to see our bank statements, even after we showed proof of payment. She kept accusing us of scamming them and repeatedly tried to make us feel guilty. She was aggressive and yelled at us rather than trying to understand what the mishap was. When we decided to leave, they threatened to call the police for non-payment. As out-of-towners, this was terrifying. To avoid further conflict, we were forced to pay double the cost. What a scam! As two young girls traveling from out of the country, this was a horrific and traumatizing experience. Please beware, as no one should go through this awful experience. Do not stay here!!! P.S We asked for extra towels and the same manager came to “check our room” for the towels and then said she was going to charge us for the extras! What a disgrace!"

"Good value for money, but you need a car to get there. The room is far away, on the third floor, but there is no elevator. Carrying luggage was a bit difficult."

"Hotel is beautiful, very good location. BUT! Really noisy, impossible to sleep in a street view room. Windows are not good enough, will be better with soundproofed windows. This hotel is good for couples. I do not recommend it for families with small children"
