Iris Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"The best hotel in town! Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds. The downsides include slow service in the restaurant, some menu items are missing, including local oysters, and the smell of rotten fish sometimes comes from the bay. If you want to see lots of flamingos, it's best to come in season."
Ngandu at Sea ★★★
"Overall it's OK."
Protea Hotel Walvis Bay Indongo ★★★
"The hotel is in downtown Walvis Bay and not a particularly far walk from the Esplanade. While the staff were truly excellent and very friendly, the room itself was in not the greatest condition. The closet door had significant damage to it from the entrance door constantly banging into it, the bathroom door was literally on a sliding track, and the toilet was right next to the door at an odd angle that made positioning very unusual. However, the worst part of the room was that the bed sheet had the remains of a significant blood stain on it, but I cannot be 100% sure. Aside from the room that seriously needs renovation, the breakfast was quite good."
The Rez Guesthouse ★★★★
"The rooms are very comfortable a well distributed. The bathrooms are of a good size. This whole hotel has a beautiful a detailed decoration and instantly makes you feel at home. Breakfast is another highlight: the buffet is varied, and guests can also order hot dishes prepared on demand The entire team —whether at breakfast, housekeeping, maintenance, or security— are simply wonderful. Professional, attentive, and always with a smile, they make guests feel genuinely welcome. "
Lagoon Suites Guesthouse CC ★★★★
"Pros: Good location, spacious rooms, and friendly service. Cons: The address was unclear; the navigation led me to another location. The bathroom was huge but freezing cold due to lack of heating. There was a fireplace, but it wasn't turned on for me. My towels weren't changed even after several days. I won't come back. A proper hotel is much better. This is more like a guesthouse."
Bella Luna B&B ★★★
"Lovely and quiet place. Garage parking which is great for Walvis Bay weather. Large bed, but the mattress is a bit hard."
Oyster Box Guesthouse ★★★
"Aggeneeman! We paid R3000 per night thinking this was a top notch establishment as advertised but it's not what you think."
Langholm Hotel ★★★
"my week away from home felt like i never left, staff where wonderful and food was out of this world. thank you Longholm Staff for a wonderful experience . "
Desert Dreams Bed and Breakfast CC ★★★
"Place has secure parking which was great. Staff at check-in wasnt aware of our vegan food wishes and didnt really bother. Next day the owner called and asked us why we didnt come for breakfast, so clear mis-communication amongst staff. Location is decent, Walvis Bay isn't the most beautiful. Rooms were decent, but we didnt like the fact that you could technically look inside the rooms from the outside doors, this should be covered. Other than that, decent place for what you pay."
