"Popped in for dinner at 5pm told we couldn't order as the chef was on her break and they didn't know when she would be back. After 15 minutes someone came to take our order. It came promptly but food was awful the Mac and cheese was like a bowl of pasta swimming in a watery sauce, could barely taste any cheese. The menu described it as having a crispy top, not a crispy top in sight. The homemade rustic garlic bread was a pizza base with a spread of garlic butter. The lasagne was pretty basic. The chips which looked good were difficult to cut, felt like they had been reheated and dried out. Could only manage half of them. Definitely won't be back, a total rip off. £30+ spent on food, wasted. Went home and cooked a meal."

"Went for bar meal with friends, worse meal I have ever paid for. Food terrible both starters and main, waited almost 2hrs for main meal. Would never return. Bar staff lovely and very apologetic. Asked for money back after sending back almost for full plates with terrible attitude of no offer of discount."
