"WONDERFUL WYNYARD WATERFRONT, a reimagined 60s style refurbished strip motel that all face the waterfront. Great size bathroom, and very very comfy bed. Lovely features retained give rooms a nod to their MCM past. The Cafe onsite had one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time, and the very best GF hotcakes ever. Great service and friendly managers and staff. Hotel and Fresh Seafood provider just metres away. Right on the inlet. An absolute must stay, one of the best of my three week Tassie sojourn. I'll be back."

"Stayed here for a night before flying from the airport. Staff were friendly and professional at check in. Room was a good size and well appointed (TV, aircon, small fridge, microwave, kettle, hairdryer etc). Parking out the front of the room. Good location on the waterfront and convenient for walking into town for dinner. We had breakfast the next morning which was tasty and well priced. Overall, a nice stay and would recommend."

"The room I had was very nice with everything I needed. Breakfast delivered to my room was great. Rachel was so helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble for her. Alexandria House is in a beautiful setting with gorgeous gardens. The only downside was I only stayed one night I will definitely stay again"

"Beautiful location, rooms are clean and beds are comfy. The breakfasts are amazing and the staff are efficient and friendly. I’m a local who chose to stay here whilst getting carpets removed and replaced. Have stayed here previously before I moved to Tasmania and often call in for a coffee and muffin when out walking my dog as it’s the best coffee in Wynyard. Staff went out of their way to assist when I had to stay an extra night. Would definitely recommend."

"We stayed here before our flight from Burnie / Wynyard to King Island, and I'd happily stay here again if in the area, especially if staying longer than just the one night. Our room was spacious, well equipped, the bed was comfortable and parking is right outside your door. There is a washer / dryer available at the motel, and staff are lovely and helpful. The motel is right by the Inglis river, so you have a lovely walk right there, or the shops and restaurants of Wynyard are just a few minutes walk the other way. We had fish & chips from Wynyard Seafoods on the Wharf, which is practically next door, which was popular with locals & visitors alike. The motel is less than 5 minutes drive from the airport (BWT)."

"From the very first contact Rachel, our host, was super accommodating, personable and friendly. The room "Tulip" was very spacious and comfortable with plenty of room to accommodate 2 people. The shower was fantastic. The breakfast is continental with a wide choice of options and there is the option of cooked. At the last moment I needed to extend my reservation which I thought may have been a issue with the limited rooms. However Rachel had no problem keeping me in the same room. It was a lovely stay with the location slightly out of town but a beautiful walk along the river track is easy access to Wynyard and facilities."
