"We've been going to this place for several years and I definitely don't think we'll be back. This year everything was terrible... I was traveling with a baby and asked for an accessible area... well, seven steps with a stroller, suitcases, and a baby in my arms to access it. As soon as we entered, a box of lights covered with insulating tape, which didn't inspire any confidence. I went to tell reception and offered the possibility of changing so I wouldn't have to carry the stroller every time we went out. They told me they had brand new apartments, unused (I went with her to see them and they really were incredible), but they'd send me to the maintenance guy to see what we should do with it. After a while, I went to see what they'd been told, and in their exact words... the maintenance guy said it's been like this for a year, that winter's over, and nothing's wrong... from what they knew, they rented out the apartment with that broken, and even having new ones, they give you the old one. The girl at reception is truly lovely, but I find it pathetic that even though they have new ones, they decide to rent out this type of apartment. The phone doesn't work, the closet doesn't close because it opens, I think the dishwasher dates back to my grandmother's time... Truly awful. Never again."

"Although the concept is risky, a hotel within an urbanization, with a shared pool and gardens, we have spent some fantastic days. The remodeling of seventies apartments into beautiful rooms, with exquisite decoration, is very successful. Some things could be improved, there are no slippers and the floors are very cold, there are no amenities, other than what is necessary (gel, shampoo, conditioner and body cream). Every time you go to the pool and ask for a towel you have to leave a deposit of 10 euros, and room service costs 3.50 each time you order. Small details not consistent with a hotel of that category. The day before arrival they sent me an email saying that there was no parking, that I had to park nearby. After parking on an adjacent street, and arriving dragging our suitcases, they told us at reception that there was parking, and since we had made the reservation a long time ago, the correct email had not been sent. Leaving that aside, the best thing about the hotel, Arantxa, Sofía and Isabela, the girls at the spa, friendliness, smiles, kindness, a pleasure to put ourselves in their hands. Neus, at reception, and Manuela in the restaurant, a charm. They are all a plus in the hotel. Looking forward to returning..."

"We came for dinner to the restaurant within the chic Nomad hotel, it’s located on the ground floor, it’s outdoor, port side tables, just metres from the sea. The hotel also has a Sky Bar, but sadly, it was closed on the day of our visit. Our waiter was a lovely fella, enthusiastic and helpful, if a tad erratic and forgetful. The menu offers tapas plus bigger plates and food was good enough, but far from outstanding."

"A little Spanish gem!!! It’s like an upmarket motel outside of town, only 10 minute drive into Javea. Great size room with private terrace and huge bed which was really comfy. Tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom quite small but functional and nice pool with lots of sun beds and loungers!!!"

"I have stayed twice at SH Javea, in June and August. I had a lovely stay on both occasions and cannot wait to return! The staff are very friendly, the hotel is clean, the breakfast is plentiful and the pool area is very relaxing. My father joined me in August for a couple of days as we know Javea well and he also had an excellent experience. I cannot thank the hotel enough for my holiday and I look forward to returning soon."

"The Beach House is located in the port area of Javea, a lovely part of town with a relaxed vibe. Our stay was Sept 11-15 and the weather could not have been better. We had to go to the hotel for access to our room and the staff was courteous, helpful and professional at all times. The room was on the small side but for two people it was all we really needed. Our window opened to an inviting view of the sea setting the tone for our stay. The room was clean and bathroom adequate. Plenty of restaurants and stores dot the area and there is even a cinema! If ever in Javea again I would definitely stay at the Beach House again."

"A most excellent experience. Our room was excellent and very comfortable. It is a very quiet location very nicely decorated. The staff are excellent and it has a very homely feel. We enjoyed our dinner and the breakfasts were very good. Would recommend use of the indoor pool and spa although you do need to book which gives you exclusive use."
