The stay experience exceeded expectations, the rooms were cleaned very clean, there was no smell, and the facilities were well maintained. The staff is attentive and responsive. There are a lot of white towels on the floor of the elevator, and they have been stepped on. I don't know what operation this is. Maybe I am afraid that their carpet will be dirty? I have never seen a hotel like this, and the suitcases are not easy to pull. The front desk said that I had upgraded the room type, and it did become a room with a projection screen, but at first it could not be opened. After looking for a long time, they found that they had unplugged the power supply. Later, we plugged in the power supply and finally opened it. It was a big black. Can't see. I don't know if this price is worth it. Haha, I feel that they still need to improve.

Xining is a fantastic, vibrant city, and my biggest regret is not staying longer; it deserves way more time than just a quick transit stop thanks to its incredible food scene, night markets, and laid-back vibe. During my visit, I stayed at LETE Hostel, which serves as a solid, character-rich base for exploring the region. The top-floor communal space has real history and soul, beautifully flooded with sunlight, packed with green plants, a massive library, and even three cute resident birds. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly kind-hearted and welcoming, always doing their best to help out. Location-wise, it’s perfect - super convenient for the night markets, local food stalls, and bus stops, plus they offer safe bike storage for cyclists. For the price of a private room, the value and hospitality here are unbeatable, and I would absolutely stay again - and next time, I’ll be giving Xining the full week it deserves.

This was my first time staying in a youth hostel and it was a great experience. There are three of us. When we booked the room, we basically looked at a four-person room, but the store was very attentive and reserved a room for us specifically for three people. The store owner is also very nice. This is honestly the best deal in town. I have been coming to Xining for 10 years, stayed in different hotels each time. This is for sure my favourite one and the best deal in this range of prices. First, the location. Right in the city centre, with a lot of taxis coming by (this can be an issue for hotels in other locations, where taxis are more rare). It is super convenient and one can reach any part of town efficiently and quickly. There are many buses that go from here to anywhere in town. Second, the quality of the room, of the bed (super super cosy and comfortable, which is really nice after travelling roughly for two weeks in the nearby countryside), the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Very good hygiene products, not cheap toothpaste and soap like in other hotels. Third, and most importantly, the quality and warmth of the service. At the reception, the employees are very friendly and understanding, very warm-hearted, You feel really welcome in this hotel. They have helped me in several ways. especially Mrs Jane and Mrs Sunny Bai: fantastic people! They also speak English! Makes the whole stay memorable, enjoyable, relaxing. I will surely come back here next time. This is an upper-tier hotel made available with affordable prices. Thank you!

Unfortunately, the name of this hotel is too old. The carpet in the room is like a long time without vacuuming. The small plate of small soap on the water table is dirty and people dare not look directly at (see picture). The sewer pipe in the bathroom has a serious anti-odor. There is no hot water. Ask the waiter to let the water be released for 20 minutes. The result is 20 points. The water is still cold after the clock. It is too unbearable to watch the waste of the water. Fortunately, there is a basin. Fortunately, the water bottle is good. The water bottle is hot. The room is also very cold. It is not warm for a night.
