They said they would change me to a villa. The exterior and the room looked okay, but after I checked in, when I went to the bathroom, the windowsill was covered with ants. "The hotel's location is incredibly remote; taxis are hard to find, and there are no shops nearby, so you can only get takeout if you need anything. 🙃 The soundproofing is terrible. The hotel is right on the roadside, and you can hear every passing car accelerate, not to mention trucks and horns. I was woken up at 1:30 AM by people talking next door, and with their talking and snoring, I didn't fall back asleep until 5 AM. Then someone checked in, and I could hear them showering perfectly. I asked the hotel for earplugs, but they didn't have any, saying they'd report it to their manager. I had to contact Ctrip customer service to change to a room on an empty floor. If they had empty floors, why didn't they just put people checking in at night on those floors? And why didn't they stagger room assignments if the soundproofing is so bad? And they don't even provide earplugs! Outrageous! The charging ports in the hotel are incredibly slow, even though it's supposed to be fast charging, it's twice as slow as at home. It's 2025, and the hotel still wants a 100 RMB deposit!"
