"What an excellent experience. Enjoyed all of the stay. Rooms were tidy, very spacious, air conditioning working, no mosquitoes. Staff were loving and smilling all the time and attentive to our needs. Great hosts. The food, wow, delicious. We had a brilliant stay. Had game drives, Matthews was amazing. He demonstrated he knows what he was doing, he will give you explanations of any questions asked. Had a chance to see the Lions, Cheeta, Sebo, Elephants. Awesome experience. I strongly recommend you visit Waters Edge."

"We visited 3 times on our recent visit to Malawi. The pool , and attendant were great, food was good & generally very good experience. Why 4 stars and not 5… well, goes back to service. Ordered fri is and took ages to come, waitress forgot bottle opener, the dirty glass, all just meant took ages to just have my beer. Lack of towels at some point, so had to wait. All small but significant and really no excuse for any of it. Be better sunbird. Really could be the best spot in zomba!!!!"

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The facilities were well-maintained, and the services provided by the staff were excellent. The breakfast was good and satisfying. However, I did feel a bit uncomfortable with the room decor. The posters of stamps from the British protectorate era, Nyasaland, were a bit unsettling for me. It would be great if the hotel could consider updating the room decor to reflect a more modern and inclusive atmosphere. Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend this hotel for its excellent facilities, services, and food."
