Excellent location and easy to find - only a ten-minute walk from Terminal 3. Check in was a bit slow, but the beds were very comfortable and the shower had very good water pressure. Would be better with tea/coffee facilities in the room.

My husband and I, with our two teenage children stayed at Life Hotel as a result of a long transit. It cost us 20euro from the airport to get to the hotel. We arrived and had a warm welcome from reception staff. Check in was seamless. The room was compact but sufficient for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the room was generally very clean. Please note that this is a room for a short stay. It’s not ideal for a long stay or for holiday purposes.

We had a five night stay at The Plaza Inn booked via our employer for a work training event, myself with a friend/ colleague. This hotel is still very new and very welcoming. The rooms are very well proportioned and very well furnished with an extremely comfortable bed. I must mention Nadine our afternoon/ evening receptionist who made our stay even more pleasurable with outstanding advise and recommendations from sightseeing to restaurants and taxi information/ booking, she is absolute credit to this hotel and the management team. The second employee of this hotel who also helped us with his expert help and advise is Max (morning reception) both of these employees spoken and written English are flawless and helped make our stay very smooth. staying on a bed and breakfast basis the breakfast is full of options from bacon and scrambled eggs to cereal and continental pastries with preserves and cold meats, cheese and fresh bread. If the opportunity to visit Austria and this region for work or even pleasure arises in the future, The Plaza Inn will be our first choice hotel. Well done again to Max and Nadine, for your outstanding customer service.

I recently booked a two centre holiday with you to Bratislava and Vienna. This is an edited copy of complaint I sent to the travel company, JETLINE HOLIDAYS many weeks ago. I received no reply. ACCESS Access to the Vienna hotel, ARION CITY HOTELwas nearly an hour’s ride from the centre of Vienna. When booking the holiday representative assured me the hotel was central even when I questioned him about the location having googled it while talking to him. In fact it was a 50 minute taxi ride from Vienna railway station – a cost to me of 25 euros. I had a time estimate from the Viennese travel authorities which shows that on public transport it would take me 35 minutes to get to the centre from the Arion City hotel on the assumption that I can do the walks in seven minutes – I am 79 years of age in a few days’ time and my wife is over 70 – and assuming I caught the train and bus immediately on arrival at the stops. In fact to get to the hotel I would have needed to catch one subway train, one bus in between which are two walks. The manager of the Arion Cityhotel said a realistic estimate of getting to the centre of Vienna is an hour. Worse than this the buses don’t run every day as you shall see on the enclosed highlighted form. THE HOTEL The hotel was appalling. The first room stank of cigarette smoke and we asked and reluctantly got a change of room. This did not stink but the room was dirty. For example, there was mould behind the washbasin, the waste overflow on the wash hand basin was black and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in months and the white shower curtain was brown, wet and smelling stale. The tile grouting had mould stain. The under bedding was very old, lumpy and rather grubby. The choice of food in the restaurant was very limited. Everything with chips, and either appalling beefburgers or a set meal of mediocrity. My wife ordered a beef soup which was a beef cube dissolved in water. Additionally the service was verging on the rude. The manager told us there was a tram a good walk away which could take us to the city centre but that it was an hour’s ride away and not regular. In short this was not a two CENTRE break. It was a deception. As a result of which on the following day we decided to go back to the centre of Vienna by taxi - another 25 euros and book in a central hotel This extra hotel cost was £234.81. I spent £44 in taxi fares. The Arion Cityhotel is in a bleak part of suburban Vienna and as depressing a location as you can imagine. There were no shops, bars, restaurants or life anywhere near the hotel. I HAVE RECEIVED NO REPLY FROM JETLINE HOLIDAYS

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal beim Frühstück - ein großartiger Start in den Tag. Das Bett war bequem, und die Bettwäsche fühlte sich angenehm an. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die tolle Lage mit der schnellen Anbindung an die Autobahn. Ein großes Kompliment an die Führung - hier merkt man, dass alles mit Herz und Professionalität geleitet wird. Ich komme gerne wieder!

The accommodation is located in the middle of the lovely old town. Walking distance from the bakery and the small local supermarket. Plenty of restaurants around but only a few open for diner. Make sure you make a reservation. We stayed in flat 1. Can accommodate 4, but max 2 adults and 1 or two kids would be appropriate. Kitchen is well equipped. Main bedroom and bathroom good size. There is a connecting door (locked) to the next flat in the main bedroom, that is a big negative when the neighbors are loud ( which some were) at night because everything can be heard. There are a tabel and chairs at the terras, only 3 chairs, and pretty uncomfortable ones. The 2 relax chairs that are also outside are ok. The sun umbrella was broken when we arrived and despite reporting this immediately and sending a reminder, it did not get fixed during our 7 days stay. Since no shadow at the terras most of the day, it was not possible to stay outside without the umbrella.

We were traveling from Germany to Slovakia to attend an engagement celebration and needed a place to overnight to break up the trip. The location just off the Autobahn first caught our attention. The online reservation, check-in, helpful, friendly workers, all helped contribute to our pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms are very inviting and comfortable. We had a situation that required using their computer and printer which worked out perfectly for us. The breakfast buffet was the best we have ever experienced at a hotel! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience. If the situation arises, we would welcome the opportunity to stay there again. Highly recommendable!

A little gem in the middle of seemingly nowhere! Zero access to public transport but that's the only negative, if at all. A very helpful front desk, clean & neat rooms, an adequate gym, golf shop, a mini supermarket and above all a fantastic eating experience! You can watch your food being cooked 'live' in front of you - the spread is simply amazing. Easily the best breakfast I've ever had while travelling. Definitely worth staying at especially if you don't need to get into Vienna proper.

Very good hotel everything was clean and the TV was connected to the phone and used well! Clean and tidy.. Above all, the scenery outside the window was so great! Thank you for your stay :)

Liao is quite far from Vienna. However, we preferred it because we could not find anywhere else during Christmas time. Their comments were high, but we were quite worried. We thought it would be quite an adventure, but we felt very comfortable. First of all, it was very clean, it was a big room. Although it is not the luxury we are used to, it is very suitable for those looking for basic qualities. The route is a 15-minute journey that can be reached by taking a single train and four stops later. You can't come back and rest during the day because it's miles away because the train has schedules. The last train is at 23.50. We went out in the morning and returned in the evening. If we go again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The surroundings are very quiet, the beds and quilts are sparkling clean. We stayed at a very affordable price.
