Nauwieser Apartments

The room was clean and tidy, very close to the city center, 5 minutes walk to the subway station, and a Thai restaurant across the street. To go to the supermarket, you can go left and go straight, through the pedestrian area to Karstadt Shopping Center, there is an Aldi supermarket on the ground floor. The only bad thing is that there is a lot of music at 6 o'clock in the evening until 9 o'clock, and many people come back to the aisle at 1 o'clock in the morning.

There are quite a lot of rooms in this hotel, which can be said to be the largest hotel in this town. The heating in the room is very warm. The room I live in also has a microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator, and everything. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, except for potato cakes and scrambled eggs are hot food, the rest are cold food. The front desk girls can speak English and there is no problem communicating. The cleaning staff can speak German. I like the glass windows of the hotel very much. It is the kind of typical German open window and the ventilation is great. The surrounding area is quite convenient. Go left and there are some shopping malls and small stores. Except that the breakfast is slightly monotonous, everything else is fine.

We stayed here one night on our journey from Calais to Croatia. The hotel was excellent and I would not hesitate to stay here again. All the staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. The room was modern with all facilities that we needed, such as plenty of USB points, and the bathroom was too with an excellent walk-in shower. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection of food. There was plenty of parking which was free when we stayed. Our room was near the tram tracks and it was a little bit noisy when the window was open, but it didn't interfere with us getting a good night's sleep. Getting to the hotel by car was a little trickier than expected as the exit we wanted from the autobahn was closed for repairs, but the navigation soon took us to the hotel.
Hotel Madeleine Biohotel

Very overpriced for what you get. Due to my late booking and Christi's arrival, my tribal hotel in S'Brücken was no longer free. I was happy to have gathered another room in a ”Bio Hotel”, but .... Only the saving lamp that ever needed to become bright wasBio, all the other ... what is at this hotel ”Bio” is not really visible - in the room: plastic lamps, Plastic clothing sticks, wooden furnier instead of real wood, fake leather on the bed, etc ... Positive: very nice and helpful staff bed in EZ 1,20, broad good internet dark hangs negative: very small bathroom shower hang, who, when doing a shower on a bath, does not stick well cleaned (extranish hair and fungi at shower head holding) very little depot area thin, cracked towels slip door to the bath, could not close. Very bright! (Snarcher nearby was to hear all night), poorly isolated windows (støjs from outside, tram, church clocks and night passants very loudly hearable, even with closed windows) A lighting is not sufficient and very uncomfortable location - near the center, but not really attractive area And something unsympathetic: on all products in the bathroom is a sticker with “buy me” and the associated price. The offer could also be placed more decent... And - clothes with words like “wash hands after cooking” - horrible! At check-out I was not asked how my stay was. For a 1-maligen extruder the hotel was ok. But I'm sure I won't come back.
Holiday Inn Express Merzig

The hotel is a little away from the city, but within 10 minutes you'll walk there. There are enough free parking directly at the hotel. The rooms are large enough and the bathroom is properly equipped. The hotel is clean, which also applies to the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful (we wanted to have another room and we got this too) Breakfast is sufficient, with the quality of sauce and cheese to be a little better. We were very satisfied with the hotel in general, especially as it is also priced compared to other hotels in the surrounding area.
Victor's Residenz-Hotel Saarlouis

This hotel was quite a pleasant surprise. A number of previous reviews that we read were not very positive and we were a bit cautious in booking but we were glad we did . Reception was very easy and pleasant and the young lady who greeted us was very very pleasant , helpful and just a delight to speak with . Bike storage was in a large locked cage in the parking garage . Lift from parking garage to our really nice , clean and bright room (110) made it easy to move our bike panniers . Bathroom had toiletries , was very clean and quite large . Good room lighting with a large window in the room . On site restaurant had great food choices for dinner at a very reasonable price point . Breakfast was one of the best breakfasts that we have had in a hotel over our many years of bike adventures in Europe . Many food choices - both hot and cold . Will definitely stay here again if our bike trails lead us this way again .

It is rare to be able to provide a complete service during the epidemic. For example, the bar operates normally and the breakfast is relatively complete. All the staff are friendly and kind; the external environment of the hotel is not very good, but it is understandable that it is only a few tens of meters from the French border; the internal facilities of the hotel are good, and the refrigerator and coffee machine are well stocked.
