3-Star Hotels in Uusimaa, Finland

Good central location, but very limited facilities. I was in Finland and expected at least a sauna like most hotels here — but there isn’t one. The rooms are quite bare, with no TV or couch, and the common area feels small considering the number of rooms. On the positive side, everything was very clean, and the location is excellent for getting around the city. Overall, it’s fine if you just need a reasonably priced place to sleep, but don’t expect much beyond that.

Don’t ever book this on Trip! If you want to stay here, book it on its official website instead because there is no front desk as you will receive a code for you to check in instead. I had to make a roaming international call to get my PIN code because Trip didn’t send it to me and it cost me €16 to make that call, not to mention the confusion and hassle. Management should also take blame for this and ensure that if the bookings are made through third party apps, that the customer properly gets the information required. The room itself was very clean and tidy and the location was great as well. There’s a nice Chinese restaurant called Nanking and some other nice bookstores, cat cafe, *** friendly bar etc in the neighbourhood.

Excellent central location and good value for money. The room is quite spacious, featuring a sleeping area and a separate seating/dining area with a table and chairs. It's not luxurious, but it serves its purpose well if you're on a budget. It's clean and safe. Everything is managed via codes, meaning there's no reception or staff on-site.

Very close to the airport, you can get there by bus, but you still need to walk a little bit. The room is a little small, so it's hard to open a big baggage, so just make do with it. It's also a little way from the center, so it's convenient to take the bus. The breakfast is good, and the service is first-class. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

the location was fantastic. many tourists must visits are in walking distance and the viking line ferry’s port is literally under 5 minutes away. both grocery stores nearby were good. the room was clean, spacious and quiet. the water pressure was great and the tab water tasted amazing. the check-in and check-out were smooth and convenient. my room had the building wall view because it’s facing the other direction than the sea front, which was the only underwhelming thing i wished was better. overall excellent stay.

Good value art deco hotel for a three night stay. Exceptional breakfast. Not very helpful pre advice about location. So… If you are coming from Helsinki port (eg ferry from Tallinn), get the tram 7T to Kaisaniemenpuisto. Then a short walk to the hotel. Tap and pay at the ticket machine for €3.20 one way, zone AB. From Helsinki airport, get the train to Helsinki main train station, 33 mins, tap and go, zone ABC. To get there walk down the road for 7 to 10 mins; contemplate some cobbled streets when wheeling luggage, but not an issue.  NB Helsinki Kampii is the main BUS/COACH terminal that you may use to go to Porvoo for a wonderful daytrip; a bit more of a walk from the Arthur Hotel ( use Google maps). Not to be confused with the Art Deco train station. All are walkable.  Finally, a visit to Suomenlinna (zone AB tap & go) is recommended along with Senate Square/the Cathedral & the Russian Cathedral. Great restaurant for Finnish food and beer under €7 is Ravintola Kolme Kruunua. Lovely shops at the harbour stalls & Craft Corner. Take a walk down the Esplanade.

During a road trip through Finland, I stayed at this property several times. It offers essentially identical studio apartments. Its strong point is definitely its convenient location, being about a 15-minute train ride (equivalent to a subway ride) from the airport and 15 minutes from Helsinki city center, with the Malmi station about 100 meters away. The area is predominantly residential, with several businesses nearby. Despite its proximity to the station, external soundproofing is excellent. A weak point, however, is the poor ventilation in the room, with only a small hinged window opening (probably for security reasons; rooms assigned on the 13th and 11th floors) and the windowless bathroom, which tends to stay damp. The last room assigned also had an unpleasant smell of cooked fish, presumably left by the previous guest.

Location was very central, can easily walk to most of the attractions. Had food, bars, and shopping centers around the hotel. Room was extremely spacious as well.

The hotel environment is comfortable and clean. Microwave dishes are provided for in-room eating. There are many choices for breakfast. In addition to coffee, Lemon Tea also provides a variety of green teas with different flavors to match with other combinations, and there is also English black tea to choose from. The staff are friendly, explain our needs in detail, and suggest different routes to reach the attractions. Help arrange taxi appointments. There are many restaurants, bars, and supermarkets outside the hotel, which are very convenient. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the market square and other sightseeing spots.
