I always use the adelphi in Liverpool. It started with national coach excursions but this time iit was for one night only as I went to the empire theatre which is just up the road. It gets bad reviews but I won't hear a bad word about it. You get what you pay for

I chose this hotel as it was close to an event we were due to attend which was unfortunately cancelled, but we managed to find our way around to alternative places. The hotel was perfect, great decor, spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was plentiful and they even supplied little bags to take some snacks, I took an apple to keep me going later. Our only regret was that we didn't stop at the wonderful looking pub opposite. Next time.

Excellent for an overnight stay. My only slightly negative comments are an over complicated TV remote & no cup/glass in the room or bathroom. Otherwise it was good, clean and functional.

Lovely hotel, staff are amazing, day and night staff, quiet, beds are comfy, would stay again definitely. Under different circumstances of course due to being stranded because of weather & trains! But highly recommended hotel.

We booked Standard room and very nice. It was spacious, newly renovated and bathroom was large. The reception is inside a bar and had hard time to see from outside. Maybe can improve to add some direction from outside. Overall, room was good. I got about 99 euros for saturday night. Price might change depending on date.

Really nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a twin cabin room (no others available)basic but comfortable and very clean, warm, TV, complimentary tea and coffee. A phone for room service if required. The breakfast was a buffet with everything you could possibly want to start you off for the day. We had a meal in the restaurant Friday evening which was really lovely with again great staff. Hotel is close to Liverpool lime street train station. Though it didn't upset our stay there was a party Friday and Saturday night that was very loud and went on till 1am It would have been nice to have been given this information.

The guy at reception was very attentive, the application was the one that wasn't very good because it didn't notify me that they had canceled the reservation. Despite that, the guy at reception was very kind and helped me.

Service was great. We were asked where we would like room. Picked upper floor away from lift. Great nights sleep, shower excellent. Only thing that didn't live up to the rest was the breakfast. It was very busy and it wasn't the best - filled a hole but nothing to write home about. Would definitely stay again

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was adequate and the location was great. The room and bathroom were tired and old.

The noise outside the window is not filtered at all. The music and singing from the pub are incessant. The service is limited to towels and toilet paper, and the sink is barely big enough to wash your hands. The location is close to the station and is attached to the bus stop heading to the airport. The staff are friendly.
