3-Star Hotels in Lazio, Italy

Hotel Impero Rome location is the main reason why I chose this hotel. I booked a 17m room and it was on the forth floor, it came with a small balcony that opens up to a lovely view. The hotel is clean and classical but the furnishing is old and the air can be a little stale or too much fragrance after the cleaning service. There are rooms slippers and basic amenities provided too. Receptionist and staff is generally nice and luggage can be stored after a no late check out policy. Many eateries and a mini super market is on the same street so it’s convenient to get food and drinks.

The front desk staff was very welcoming. They stored my luggage when I arrived in the morning and put it in my room when I arrived in the evening. I personally took my luggage to my room. It was very clean and newly decorated. It was very close to the train station and only took about 30 minutes to catch the next day's flight. It was very convenient to stay here.

Great location right next to San Pietro station, close to nice cafes and restaurants as well as a carrefour. About a 10-15 minute walk to St Peter’s square. Which made early morning visits quite easy, this was a bonus in the jubilee as visitors were lining up at 6:30 to get in. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Rooftop bar was lovely and had a great view to San Pietro. I could see the dome of St Peter’s from the window of my bedroom as well.

Very excellent hotel located near the train terminal and within walking distance to many attractions.

Convenient location, close to bus station and not far from the train station. Very friendly front desk staff. Room with complete facilities. We can connect youtube account on the TV. Really nice :)

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, close to the Vatican, the metro, restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket. The bed was comfortable and the room was modern and clean. Took a while to work out the air conditioner as the room was hot for guests used to a colder climate! The small breakfast offered for delivery to the room for €5 was delicious and enough to fuel a morning of exploring. The best part of the hotel though has to be the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone we came in contact with was so helpful and nice. Definitely recommend and excellent value.

The hotel is located on a busy street, a lot of shops and sights nearby . A delicious breakfast

Location is convenient near trastevere railway station, transfer to airport. But quite far from city attractions in the center. Breakfast consists of fruits, yoghurt, cakes, cookies and tea/coffee, not so various. Rooms are old fashioned but spacious, the gave us room for 4 persons instead of twin. Interior building is under reconstruction now. And an insect was spotted on the hanger! Hope it was not a bug...

I am going to say I really liked my off-season stay. The breakfast was much better quality than expected and the library makes for a great place to do work, if you are a digital nomad or just someone who needs to catch up with admin. It is super easy to get anywhere from here, either walking or taking public transport. The area around the station is a little sketchy late at night, particularly after midnight, but hotel Nizza is actually closer to the opera. I would definitely stay here again. Local tourist cafes are what you might expect: overpriced, rude and slow. However, an extra block finds much better options. There are also a couple of roof bars round the corner, which I didn't try, but look fabulous.

The location was good, and it's an old building, but the interior decor was extremely spartan, and the bathroom's ventilation system was out of order. The curly-haired lady at the front desk was lovely and very helpful. However, a female Italian waitress in the restaurant had an appalling attitude, was impolite, and frankly, seemed racist. She cleared our plates without asking if we were finished, and as closing time approached, she repeatedly and rudely told us to 'finish,' clearly trying to usher us out. Her behavior towards Caucasian guests, however, was completely different.
