3-Star Hotels in Perak, Malaysia

For security purposes, Hotel only provide 1 access card for room and lift service. This created a little bit non-convenience for us, when we wanted to collect something from our car which required us to unplug the room access card from room and went down to the car park. We request an extra card from receptionist staff and was rejected by them. Breakfast provided was reasonable with no negative feedback. Overall was good, except room cleanliness need some improvement.

I researched a lot of hotels in Ipoh. Most hotels are spread out around the Ipoh “downtown”. If you’re arriving on a bus from KL, the bus terminal Amanjaya is 9km away. 20 mins on the local bus will take you to Terminal Kidd and it’s a 15 mins walk to M Boutique. I wouldn’t suggest this option if you have a lot of suitcases as the walk is on the main roads with cars and truck zipping past. Location is surrounded by industrial and car dealerships, but once arrived you’re surprised! They live up to their name - Boutique! They have been in that location for 13 years. Staff are friendly and helpful! Room (single room with no windows) was clean and comfortable and provided the amenities after a long day on the bus. And the hotel - SMELLED nice. Like a high end hotel. It was a nice treat if you’re a solo traveler looking for comfort on a budget. I tried to extend an extra night, however Trip were only showing double and twin rooms - out of my budget for a solo traveler. Asking at reception if the single room was available, they checked and I paid directly to hotel for a 2nd night. Your loss Trip! Hotel amenities were great. Hot shower, WiFi and air conditioning working. It’s a 10-15 min walk to the old city. When I arrived around 4 PM, a lot of things are already closed and quiet. Walking around in the dark back to the hotel was a little uneasy, but you can easily just arrange a car to GRAB. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and comfortable, and it came with two complimentary bottles of water. The air conditioner worked very well, keeping the room cool throughout my stay. The hotel has a good location, convenient for nearby shops and food options, and also offers free parking, which is a great bonus. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay and good value for money.

Honestly, I’m not the guy always writing a review, but today I have to. This morning around 8am, the staff from here calling me that my car had puncit. I’m feel shocked and trying to looking for mechanic to replace my tyre. I’m feel surprise that staff from there is very friendly and helpful to do me a favor and replace it together with me. I’m really feel warm and appreciated and for sure next time when I’m going to Ipoh. This always will be my First Choice. 🙏🏻 Can’t do much for you guy, just hopefully this review will be helpful.

Hotel exterior and rooms seems to have some update. Room is quite clean, shower water pressure is good, staff is friendly. Only issue I had was there seems to be some hair oil smell on the pillows, I used a disposable face tower to lay over it to minimize the smell, just a 1 night stay so didn't make a fuss abt it.

The B&B environment is fantastic. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is convenient, with plenty of food options nearby. The owner is incredibly nice, warm, and thoughtful, making you feel right at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit. Highly recommended! 👍

The hotel is in a great location, but parking is a bit limited. The bed linen had a slight smell, but after I mentioned it, they quickly changed it, which was appreciated. The room cleaning service was excellent. The night staff didn’t seem as welcoming, but the morning staff was much friendlier. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!

Room age and looks old especially the flooring SPC wood layer already peeled out and loose after we accidentally kicked on it near balcony, but is broken easily due to rain water seepage in from balcony and luckily our feet didn't get hurts after accidentally kick on it, also in detachable condition so really deteriorating . Took RM100 deposit upon check in and we worried they will blame this on us but luckily they didn't say anything. I hope the management will at least change the flooring, as it can pose dangerous risk and don't let bad things happen over only regret over it. Breakfast is included, under age 5 is free.

A big corner house with 9 rooms. Spacious hall living room with TV channels. Dining set with tablewares. No stove no utensil for cooking. A fridge, microwave and water dispenser with hot, warm and cold water. Downstairs has a shared toilet too. Clean and nice. Last minute 5pm on the spot booked this unit. Instant confirmation and easy self check in instantly. Fast response from the incharge person. I booked Family room for 5pax on the first floor. 2 bedrooms with a joint toilet. Room8 spacious 1king 1single. Room9 1queen. Very comfy thick beds. TV in the room cannot be used. Old mother need to go downstairs to watch TV at the living hall. Its fine quite convenient and comfy to sit in the living. Greeting many guests coming in and out haha. Very affordable price. Nearby restaurants and attractions. Great stay! Thanks!

The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was clean and tidy. The scenery was beautiful and the location was also very convenient 😊 Overall, my stay was very satisfying. The only minor drawback was the limited number of power outlets in the room, which I hope can be improved in the future.
