"This was a brand spanking new hotel. The staff was friendly and very courteous. Covid precautions being taken very seriously. Good location with easy access. Cleanliness was spot on! Pool and patio with grills. Exercise room but it was closed due to Covid. The rooms after cleaning were sealed and the customer was the one to break the seal to help insure the rooms were sanitized."

"It was one of the best hotels very modern and very clean! They exceeded all of our expectations. They had a pool table and reading area so just kinda hang out . I love the hardwood floors in the room, the shower head not only adjusted but the water pressure was fabulous best hotel shower ever! The fact that they have squeeze bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash mounted instead of those tiny bottles most hotels give. I bring my own due to having so much hair they tiny bottles are never enough, but tru has you covered, the bed was very comfortable and biggest flat screen I have even seen in a room , the window let me tell you about the window omg very large window with 2 shades one shade would let some light in the second shade was a blackout when it’s closed you have no idea if the sun is up or not. The breakfast had lots of options not only to eat but to drink as well loved that and coffee 24/7 how can you go wrong . Very friendly staff , they worked with us on late checkout due to my husband having a procedure being done @2pm and late checkout is at 12 the manager was so kind once we told he why we were in town and allowed us to check out at 1 without question. Tru is Oxford is definitely the place to stay❤️❤️❤️"

"The hotel was enjoyable and the slot play but the card tables are only for the house they do not shuffle or cut cards before they put them in the shuffling machine so I like to play cards so I went to the ****** next door in the parking lot and played cards because they shuffle and cut the cards as they should and fives better odds for the player so I would suggest to only play slots no table games but the hotel it's self was very good and the restaurants"

GGuest UserService was for the most part great but i asked for a higher floor in the notes when i booked but was placed on the first floor which was no No problem! I specifically booked this hotel because of the 2 tvs in the room because I’ve stayed before but upon arrival and seeing my room didn’t have both tvs i immediately wanted to change rooms because that’s what i specifically booked for along with the sofa bed because thats what the picture displayed ! I asked to be moved to another room, and was granted the request! But was also informed the hotel was removing the 2 tv option but was banking on a room that still had it available and i saw the hotel was busy that day and didn’t want to be on the first floor with so much traffic! So anyway the receptionist granted my room change to the 4th floor, PERFECT! So me and my family gathered our things and went to the 4th floor only to find a much smaller room, no sofa bed, only a chair and i was like this is worse than the original because if not the tvs i still needed the sofa bed for my boys ! Immediately called and voiced my concern about the cramped room and can we go back to the original for more space, receptionist informed me she had sold it ! It had only been about 5-10 mins top, i was livid at this point! She stated the room i booked was a king room and the room i originally booked was the only one with the sofa bed, like whatttt why was i not informed before the move, i wouldve stayed so i had to deal with this cramped room with me, my boyfriend and our 2 boys ! The bathroom was TRASH, i mean absolutely garbage! I asked to upgrade to 2 queens rooms but she said i couldnt because i booked thru 3rd party and i would have to basically buy the room separately! I mean it didn’t make sense whatsoever to me to not be accommodated in some sort especially when i had kids in a 1 bed basic room! Never going back! But the receptionist was cool, i just wanted some type of relaxation for 3 days but we made it work but we will not be returning! And the bathroom was covered in mold, just disgusting!

GGuest UserThe grounds and exterior of the White House hotel is wonderful. However, other features of this hotel leave something to be desired. Firstly, if you're looking for a place to unwind by the pool with a great ocean view, you're in luck, but unfortunately the pool is not heated. The dining room was unavailable due to ”construction” or ”remodeling,” so any food ordered (which was good) either had to be room-service or eaten at the bar. I stayed in a standard room with a king bed, which was not very comfortable. The vanity light in the bathroom was only half lit, making shaving difficult. The TV in the room was old and the back light seemed to be going out. There was a small 3 drawer dresser for clothing, but other than that, really nothing other than the nightstands to set things on (but there was a very small bistro table for the coffee maker. And the most frustrating part, the AC unit either made the room VERY cold or VERY warm. The uncomfortable bed, with thin covers and a bipolar HVAC made getting good rest impossible. For the same price or less, I could have stayed at one of the casinos with better amenities and more comfortable rooms.

GGuest UserOverall the stay was OK… the bed was comfortable, the carpet r need to be vacuum and shampooed, the bathroom floor needed to be cleaned..Make sure you have slides to wear while you’re in the room… the breakfast was better than other places I have stayed…the weekday front desk staff much nice and friendly than the weekend staff besides the young lady who was there Monday Morning 5/12/25 not so nice .

GGuest UserFront desk staff for dayshift is always friendly and so helpful. Unfortunately, mid-shift only has one staff member working the desk and they were not available for 20-25 minutes upon arrival due to helping other customers upstairs. The room was clean, but the sink was slow draining and almost overflowing. Front desk did make maintenance aware so it would be fixed for the next customers who occupy that room. There was quite a bit of dust on the access panel to the tub right beside the toilet. Most disappointing is that the printer in the lobby/lounge area doesn’t work and I needed to print documents for a training I was attending. Overall I will stay here again, mostly because of the staffs cheerful disposition and willingness to assure my stay is the best.

This location did not meet our expectations ,
The rooms were not the same as the photos which was disappointing not the end of the world .
The first room we received was covered in lady bugs , and smelled like dead bugs , there was a nest of them in the corner of the room as well as many dead ones all over the room.
The kind lady at the front desk got us another room , but the new room was not very clean , there was lots of hair all in the shower and all over the bathroom,
After being on the road for 12 hours we cut our losses and went to sleep .
I have stayed at many Hiltons and this was honestly the dirtiest one I have seen so far . Very disappointed .

GGuest UserThe hotel lobby smelled like smoke. There was a smell in the room as well. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on and there was no bedding provided in room. It took three trips to the front desk to finally get some bedding only to have that bedding be the wrong size. Since it was so late, we dealt with it. When we checked out in the morning, we complained to the front desk to have the employee refuse to listen or believe our complaint.
I would like to give a higher rating since this hotel was conveniently located and the breakfast was good, but the room and bedding experience really left a sour taste.

The only complaint is the armbands. Our kids armbands broke while going down the waterside the first day we were there, and through our stay we noticed multiple people that have lost theirs. If you're going to charge $50 for loosing it, they need to be more durable. I find this extremely unreasonable since they obviously break very easily.

GGuest UserOverall location was supreme I didn’t need to drive around once I got there. The only draw back is the room felt humid. It might be a good idea to grab a dehumidifier for this place. Also the water drained very slow. In a positive note the room was clean and the staff there were welcoming.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel at the last minute and I'm glad I did. After a long day of traveling, it was just what I needed. They offer snacks/dinner in the lobby a few days out of the week and this was PERFECT for me after getting off of the road. All of the front desk staff were amazing, as well as the breakfast staff. Room was spacious and quiet. The kitchen came with everything you need to prepare meals in your suite. If you don't prefer to cook, restaurants and convenience stores are a 5 minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk down the road.
