The perfect place for an overnight trip! The room was clean and comfortable, with AC, TV, kettle, etc. — everything you might need! The staff readily provided us with a WeChat contact, offering to drive us to and from the Huangshan mountain trail entrance as well as happily providing recommendations for the local town. After being caught in the rain on the last day after we had already checked out, we were immediately accommodated to dry off in one of the rooms before our evening train. The hospitality and generosity was 10/10 and much appreciated! I have multiple friends who chose to stay at the 0517 Hotel while visiting Huangshan, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area!

A Pleasant Stay with Excellent Service I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and was overall quite impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the reception staff were welcoming and incredibly efficient, making the check-in process both speedy and effortless. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The housekeeping team obviously takes great care in ensuring that every detail is attended to, from the fresh linens to the spotless bathroom. The hotel's location is another great advantage. Being near the subway made it incredibly convenient to get around and explore the city with ease. Despite its prime location, the price was very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. Breakfast was a highlight of the morning, with a delicious variety that really set me up for the day. The quality and selection of food were outstanding, and it was a treat to start each day with such a satisfying meal. One area for improvement would be the noise cancellation in the rooms. Being close to the subway, I did notice some ambient noise that occasionally disturbed my sleep. However, this was a minor issue in an otherwise excellent stay. In summary, this hotel excels in many areas: exceptional reception, efficient check-in, clean rooms, convenient location, reasonable pricing, and delicious breakfast. With a bit of improvement in noise cancellation, it would be truly perfect. A lovely opportunity to experience Chinese hospitality. I stayed with my cat and we felt very welcome. The owner is very attentive and looks well after his guests. It is good to know that the reception is in the 3rd floor. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. A quiet area and house, just perfect if you need a good rest or travel with an anxious pet.

The rooms are really clean and nice, location is near the waterfall, from which you can hike up to the mountain if you’re a serious hiker. It’s family owned hotel so everything is very authentic. The hosts are very kind and welcoming, helped us a lot with planning and organising the route for our hikes and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

My stay in Tingquan Xiaoyuan has been absolutely delightful. I booked a long stay here as a retreat and break from the work and it is exactly everything I need to unwind and recharge. The guesthouse ran by a husband and wife team are so hospitable and go the extra mile to make sure my stay here is relaxing and I have everything I need to work and go about my day. The room i am staying in is very brightly lighted with a desk for me to work. I have to say the bed is also very comfortable and I have been sleeping well every night. The surrounding is so peaceful and tranquil, with gardens and flowers and mountain peaks in the distance. I am rather glad I am staying here in the valley instead of near the centre. In terms of service, the boss is very helpful and responsive to my messages when we need to ask any question or require a pick up after the hikes. The lady boss is similarly extremely friendly, warm and kind and ensure my needs and well being is looked after every day. She cared for me like her own family. I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help a foreigner like me who struggle with the language. I would strongly recommend this lovely and cosy guesthouse to any local and foreigner who is looking for an amazing visit to Huangshan for a few days or up to a month. They will ensure you are well taken care of and your stay is absolutely delightful.

First of all, the area of this family room is really big. It is one bedroom and one living room. Our family of 6 people does not feel crowded at all. The bedding is very new. It looks like one guest and one change. It is clean and tidy. The hotel owner is also super good. The service is very warm. There are many varieties of breakfast. Two children have breakfast for free. I called the front desk and said that the room supplies were not enough because we were not enough to help us send them for free. We also came to see the evaluation. It really didn’t disappoint me. The price is very high. This is a sincere praise. I have collected it and I will book this hotel here.

Hostel reception and manager were excellent host, they were very hospitable. The location of the hostel is very good for those doing day trips to Hong cun, Xidi and Huangshan as it's just a short walk to the main bus station to these areas (long distance bus station). It's also about 2km from the Huangshan old town which is walkable for an evening stroll. I will visit Huangshan Hong Cun/Xidi and stay in this hostel again.

Good location half way between the main bus station and the South entrance for Huanshang Mountain. They provided a free car to take us to the entrance on the morning of the trip at 7.30am. One of the workers, made contact via wechat and met with us to explain (using translation app) how and where to go on the trail once up on the mountain and how much go pay, routes to avoid and how to get home. He was extremely helpful despite the language barrier. The bedroom was large and spacious and a good hot shower. The images on the advert were npt as we found it unfortunately. The inside space was outdated and we found it in need of some love and care. The reception was damp and mouldy, the same in the bedroom under the window. We paid for a window room but had small windows as we were on the 5th floor. The curtains and drapes were ripped and need to be replaced. We ate at the restaurant multiple times and this was really good and reasonably priced. There is a shop on site and always people around ready to help. It just needs a good paint job and some new touches in the bedrooms / removal of ripped drapes. It was a shame as the images online do not reflect the actual room we had. The first 4 images are from online advert. The following pictures are the ones taken personally

The hotel is clean and well-equipped. The cleaning lady is also very serious about cleaning. The lady at the front desk is also very enthusiastic. She also upgraded the room for free. It is very close to the South High-speed Railway Station and is convenient for travel. It is recommended to stay.

Really enjoyed my stay here! The owner is very helpful and friendly. We do not have any China number of ID but he guided us along the way. He also gave recommendation for the food and activity in Tunxi. The smart room is clean with all the amenities. It even has a Xiaomi home! It is located near the shopping and eating area, as well as the 老街。Location is good. I will really recommend this place to stay if you are going to Tunxi. If you going to huangshan, is a one hour car ride the the foot of the mountain - which is what we did too.
