"Honestly, since it's an annex, and basically a renovated motel, I sort of expected the facilities to be a bit subpar. But seriously, the walls reeked of cigarette smoke. The pillows smelled like dirt? Or dust? I ended up using my own covers and towels to sleep on. I'm not the type to complain about every little thing, so I let it slide the first night.
On the second day, the air conditioner broke, so they moved me to the room next door. Ugh... I tried to attach a filter to the showerhead, but it wouldn't come off, and black rust started coming out. The pillows and blankets still had that dusty smell. I put my covers back on and aired out the room for five hours.
The walls still smelled like cigarettes. On the second morning, I just quickly got ready and left early. The location and service were great, but seriously, just sweeping the floor isn't cleaning! *Sigh*
Aside from the room condition, everything else was satisfactory. If you're planning to stay here, definitely book a room in the main building. And if you're sensitive to smells, I really don't recommend the annex."

"We came to Jeonju for a trip for the first time in a while for my husband's birthday and stayed for 2 nights and 3 days.
It was cleaner, more spacious, and warmer than I expected, and it was really great!
The staff were super friendly, and perhaps because it hasn't been long since it opened, it was very clean.
The view was wide open, so even though it was right in front of a parking lot... I still liked it haha.
The Hanok Village is right in front, so it was convenient to get around!
The sandwich they served in the morning was also delicious; thanks to that, I had a hearty breakfast ^_^
I plan to visit again if I come back with my family :)"

"The room was clean! All basic amenities were provided, including a straightening iron. I think it's enough for those who want to stay in a cheap and clean place. However, it takes 15 minutes by bus from Jeonju Station and about 30 minutes by bus to the tourist spot around Jeonju Hanok Village, so it may be inconvenient for traveling. It's on the outskirts of the hotel district, so it may be a little scary for a woman traveling alone at night."

Very close to hanok village. Only 5 minutes walk. The owner is very nice. He explained everything in the hotel with his simple english and helped us with the calling a taxi on our way back to the bus terminal. He gave us small famous bread in the morning. The hanok is very clean and ammenities is complete. He provide 2 hairdryer, toothbrush, shampoo and body wash and a lot of towel. Hot water, filteres water and coffee machine are provided. There is no bidet. But Overall it is a very good stay. Budget price with 5 star quality and service. Recommended to stay in jeonju.

The place near Naejangsa Temple in the autumn leaves season is too expensive, so it is a motel near Jeongeup Station, but the cost performance is good. First of all, Naejangsa Baekyangsa Temple is within 30 minutes by car, near Jeongchon Restaurant, and Ssanghwacha Street is also a 5-minute walk. The motel is a very old building, but the cleaning was hard and clean. No breakfast and no memorable service, but at a good price, one night was good, enjoying the autumn leaves and delicious food Ssanghwacha was perfect ^^

Such a lovely, unforgettable experience of staying in a traditional hanok pension. Owners are kind and mainly Korean-speaking locals. They may not be there during check in, so remember the room name in your booking for easy identification, or inform them of your exact arrival time to ensure a smooth process. Our room was cosy but had a comfortable double bed, TV, cold water in fridge, Korean bath towels and clothes hooks. (Hot water kettle and mugs can be found in the mini lounge hut near the gate.) The spacious and separated bathroom was rare, and the ondol floor was such a warm treat in winter. We were even given freshly made tteok and honey as breakfast treats. Good value in the heart of Jeonju, within minutes walk of everything. Thank you for the hospitality! We had a healing stay.

Staying at this traditional Korean thatched-roof house (chogajip) in Jeonju was such a special and unforgettable experience!
I booked this place for my friend visiting from the U.S. to give her a unique taste of Korean culture—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was great, the room was clean and cozy, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful :)
After booking, I recommend contacting the host in advance to let them know your estimated arrival time—it really helps with check-in. For international guests, it may be a bit difficult to communicate, so having someone help with the message is a good idea!
If you’re visiting Korea, don’t miss the chance to stay in a beautiful chogajip and experience a piece of traditional life. Highly recommended! ❤️

Guest UserA convenient enough location - at rhe extreme eastern edge of the Hanok village area - still within walking distance of everything you'd want to see and experience in Jeonju.
Although refurbished plainly, the ”pension” room served its purpose - Hanok accomodation by the site.
In my opinion, I think that the room was still undersized ((no room for even a chair or small table) while the washroom was bigger than needed. Small towels, and a finicky door lock could also be addressed.
That said, a very comfortable bed 😀, as opposed to a futon.
Access to the city bus and train station best done by arranging for a taxi as the bus routes on the highway just above the place, are neither reliably scheduled nor matched transit app (at least the one I had.)

The guesthouse is conveniently located which makes it ideal for exploring Jeonju. The check-in process was smooth and instructions on how to access the room were very clear. Kitchen facilities came in very handy and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside I would mention is that the walls are paper-thin. We stayed two nights and had no problem on the first night but on the second one, we were awakened by loud guests at 2 am who seemed to be checking in very late (and possibly drunk). I would recommend limiting the check-in time until 00:00 to avoid any complaints or discomfort for in-house guests. Besides that situation the stay was perfect and considering the cost it was very fair.

Because it's a jade, I have to take into account the inconvenience, but it's better than I thought. The bathroom is also very good. The dormitory is also very clean. However, because of the creaking sound of trees, I have to go with my chicks. It was good.

Host's were really friendly and supportive.
Room has floor heating and due to that room got really hot. Shower is really good. We had an issue with the bedding where we complained to the host and he looked into it wanting to give you another room but we stayed in that room as it was only for two nights.
More towels have been also provided after requesting them and a welcome bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, razor and a few other toiletries were in that bag.
Water bottles as much you ask for and even at the checkout the host lady gave us each 2 bottles of water to take with us which was really appreciated and a rare first gesture I experienced.

Possibility to do laundry.
Some negligence in cleanliness given the amount of waste under the bed, or the smell of the towels (probably poorly dried).
Very easy to hear other residents in the surrounding rooms.
I still recommend it for those on a tight budget and who can easily fall asleep despite the potential noise pollution.
